Thank you for your 5 stars in all areas! Early communication is a big focus for us at Crafty Wizards Pre-School, it's great to hear how your little ones talk to you about their day. All our staff have received basic Makaton training to encourage communication, we use many strategies throughout the day and during small group activities such as our 'Magic Circle Time'. Spell-binding to hear that you feel that you have chosen the right place for your son at Crafty Wizards Pre-School. We know that choosing childcare can be tricky. We won the National NDNA award in 2022 and have won the Top 20 in the UK and London for the last six or seven years for small nurseries! Did you know that we provide locally sourced fruit and veg, dry snacks and milk, available for the children to self-access in the morning and afternoon? Did you know that all our full-time staff are community paediatrics trained, basic Makaton trained, more staff are training for Interactive Music Making, Boogie Mites training, Forest School training and much much more? Our team are dedicated to improving their knowledge and interests, making learning magical through creativity is always a journey because our children are unique and new initiatives help us develop. 5 sparkling stars! Each child is special and unique and we aim to support each individual. Settling in can be tricky for some children, we have lots of strategies to support this time such as our social story with names, places and faces at preschool in it. It is great to hear that our team have had attention to detail and always with a smile on their faces. We want preschool to be a fun, caring, inspiring place. It is great to hear that you settled in so quickly and that you enjoy our new online adhoc booking facility. Please do pop into pre-school next time, because we have amazing resources, our new outdoor wooden cabin, creative outdoor space and much more! Thank you for your lovely review. We love sports day outside and seeing our parents. Our Crafty Wizards loved it. For the last few years we have been diligent in balancing the risks of Covid, staff that are vulnerable and keeping our usual routines. We have recently re-introduced our parent stay and play sessions every other half term and have slowly been reintroducing our cuddly toys and Crafty Wizard touches. Our daily Magic Circle Time and Phonics sessions provide small group activity time with their key workers and our uninterrupted child-initiated play indoors and out allows our children opportunities to develop independence, personal and social skills and so much more. 5 stars - Magic-nificent! We believe that there is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing, so we try and get outdoors in all weathers. We have children's wet suits, and our Forest School leader and practitioners promote the benefits of outdoor play and natural play resources. As a small set of pre-schools, we appreciate your recommendations to friends and family, we are not a faceless large chain, we are proud to have strong partnerships with local community groups, agencies and schools.
