Crafty Wizards Nursery - New Eltham

Brilliant at settling in my child, the staff are always attentive and we have seen a marked change in our child in terms of confidence and desire to get involved with other children, great place and would definitely recommend.

We cannot fault Crafty Wizards. Experienced, caring and nurturing staff who our daughter adores. Our daughter started in March 2022 and settled in so quickly and has loved going ever since. From forest school to the lovely outside play space, themed days and events where parents can join too. Our daughter particularly enjoys circle time each day and regularly comes home singing songs she has learnt there. The perfect setting for our daughter before she starts primary school.

Crafty Wizards have been so professional and knowledgeable about childcare- I have 3 children who have all gone to different nurseries at different times and Crafty Wizards is by far the best. My daughter has special needs and in her former nursery, at the end of the Summer term, we were asked not to bring her back because they didn't know what to do with her. Crafty Wizards have taken her on and given her such good care, the experience has been night and day. They applied for inclusion funding which I hadn't heard about previously, they pay special attention to her at play and during learning times and they make a great effort to improve her eating as she has complicated sensory disorders with food. Also, I love their website which gives me daily updates on what my daughter has done during the day. I appreciate the care shown, it makes all the difference.

The teachers are lovely and so kind always smiling and always telling you how their day has been.

I am so happy with Crafty Wizards. My daughter has taken a while to settle and they have gone above and beyond to ensure that she is supported, encouraged and comforted when she is there. They have communicated regularly with me and she is now eager to go. The attention to detail the staff put into the activities is outstanding. There is always a wide variety for the children to do and we receive regular feedback as to how she is doing. The staff always have smiles on their faces and make each child feel special and welcome. We are so pleased we found Crafty Wizards.

My youngest boy settled in very quickly. So pleased with all the staff, especially with one member of staff in particular, for helping him settle with ease! Great communication too and love that if they have availability, I can book extra sessions as and when needed.

Today I attended the sports day event at the preschool and have to mention how amazing the set-up was. I enjoyed being involved with the parent race and very much enjoyed watching my son get involved and enjoy each course. Especially thanks to one member of staff in, particular, who got me involved last minute and the other staff members who chatted with me about my son's progress. We had a great time thank you the lovely ladies at New Eltham.

My son has been attending Crafty Wizards Pre-School since September 2021, he’s had a great start to his pre-school education, the staff numbers there mean he has a lot of support when it’s needed and he’s built great relationships with all the staff and they have also taken time to get to know him and his needs. It’s lovely knowing he’s safe and being supported during his sessions. The personal touches of feedback at the door at pick up with his key person and throughout the day on private social media is also an extra and an insight into his day. The management are always available in person, by email or phone and couldn’t have been more helpful.

I can’t praise Crafty Wizards Pre-School enough for nurturing, educating and caring for my little ones. They are above and beyond five stars in everything. I wish I’d found then earlier for my eldest and I wish they had a primary school so we don’t have to leave.

My son has recently joined the amazing settling in process and took time to get to know my son and his SEND needs. Look forward to getting to know the setting more and my son developing with the care of the staff.

My daughter has been at Crafty Wizards Pre-School for over a year and has grown in confidence and I can’t thank Crafty Wizards Pre-School staff enough for all their support in getting her ready for school. She comes home singing the magical songs and always talking about how much fun she has learned.

Since starting at Crafty Wizards Pre-School, our daughter has not looked back. She was welcomed so enthusiastically and settled in really quickly. She loves going to pre-school, loves the teachers and always talks excitedly about what she is doing. The range of activities on offer each day is varied, creative and educational and she is developing emotionally as well as progressing well in her early years development. The staff are friendly, full of energy, positive, attentive and caring. The pre-school is extremely well organised, communication is excellent and there are lots of different activities on offer. I would highly recommend Crafty Wizards.

Our daughter started at Crafty Wizards Pre-School in September and we couldn’t be happier with her development. We have been so impressed with the variety of play, education and sports along with the focus on health and well-being. The staff are wonderful and nothing is ever too much trouble.

This is my second child to join Crafty Wizards Pre-School and I can not rate them high enough. I have myself worked in many nurseries but there is something very special about this one. The staff go above and beyond for the children and management are very helpful and have been flexible when I’ve needed to alter my day slightly due to work or child care issues. I know when I leave my son he is not only safe but he is being stimulated and challenged in appropriate activities for his age and I couldn’t be happier.

No attrition of staff. Very professional.

Both my children have been very happy here. The tailored learning as they progress is perfect and the communication with parents is excellent.

My son has been attending Crafty Wizards Pre-School for almost a year now and absolutely loves it. Every member of staff is warm and welcoming and my son always speaks highly of them. They give the children such a lovely welcome and also make the time to debrief you at pick up at the end of the day. They do so many different activities (both inside and out) and also take them out for forest school and the occasional trip to the park. My son's time at Crafty Wizards is setting him up well for starting school; I couldn’t be happier with our choice of pre-school for him.
