My son started at Crafty Wizards in September. He was only ever used to me so was very worried how he would settle. The staff at Crafty Wizards made the separation as gentle as possible. My son now looks forward to his day at Crafty Wizards and speaks happily of his day, Sings songs from Circle Time
and copies the actions of 'What's in the hat '. When I ask my son who his friends are at Crafty Wizards, he will tell me the staff names....this shows the special bond the staff have with the children here. Couldn't be happier with the huge variety of resources which accommodate the EYFS.

My three year old has been attending here 4 days a week for 4 months. Wonderful preschool with amazing staff. Fantastic communication between nursery and home and my little boy is thriving here. Wish I'd found it sooner, I can't recommend it highly enough.

Since my daughter has been at Crafty Wizards she has come along so well with her talking etc and every time I pick her up she loves telling me what she has done ie painting, water garden, drawing, playing with babies and circle time. I'm so glad that I put her In Crafty Wizards when I did, thank you
all so much I really am proud.

We do work closely with outside agencies and use BSL (British Sign Language Cards) to support early communication at activities along with Small Talk Card activities, I-Can activities, Makaton signing and symbols. Our son has been attending Crafty Wizards for almost a year now for two mornings a week. He absolutely loves going and is always so excited when he arrives there for his session. He had just turned 2 when he first started to attend and he was not speaking despite all our efforts. Within 3 weeks of joining
he had gained confidence among his peers and began to use words.
All the staff are fantastic there and helped us immensely with his development and gave us tips and exercises to do at home so that we were consistent with them on our approach. We felt confident that he was in the right place from the very start.
His younger brother sometimes comes along when we collect our Son from Crafty Wizards and he wants to join in the fun too, we think he'll also take no time in adjusting when it's time for him to join as the staff are so attentive and caring to the individual child's needs.

My son has grown in confidence since joining Crafty Wizards. He has learnt so many things I thought he had no idea of. The staff are excellent at listening to the needs of each child.


My son has been helped with learning colours so quickly, in a matter of weeks! He was also very well supported during

potty training.


The standard of learning is very good as well as arranging excellent activities for the children.

Our daily routine which includes Magic Circle Time promotes this relationship. We have a contracted cleaner that cleans our premise and all toys are cleaned on a rota (or earlier if needed), along with a twice daily risk assessment and toilet checks throughout the day to ensure the pre-school is as clean as possible despite out love for messy play! My daughter absolutely loves Crafty Wizards and rushes through the door in the morning! Have seen a massive improvement in how she engages with other children. The staff are excellent and cater for her needs.Our second child to attend Crafty Wizards, would thoroughly recommend to anyone.

Brilliant at letting my daughter excel to her full level by moving her up to groups with older children which I think is amazing. They allow the children to focus on different aspects of learning through phonics, show and tell time, group activities. My daughter would go every day if she could, there
are always a number of activities to get involved with each day that helps excel the senses.

My daughter absolutely loves Crafty Wizards. She's 2 years old and settled in very well after one session, always asking to go back again. The staff keep you in the loop and are always very helpful. Would definitely recommend.

My child been at Crafty Wizards for just over 3 months and was very behind in his milestones. In just 3 months he has learnt so much talking and playing with other children which he never did before joining! The staff are so bubbly and brilliant with all the children.

I feel the staff are very approachable and clearly enjoy their jobs and working with the children. Three of my grandchildren have attended Crafty Wizards and having worked in childcare all my life I would happily recommend the nursery.

My son has been attending Crafty Wizards since September 2016.


Since joining he has completely excelled in his speech, listening skills and his confidence in independent tasks. I can't praise Crafty Wizards enough, as they are extremely hard working, caring and attentive to your child's needs.

From day one they made my son feel like he was in his second home as he settled straight away and absolutely loves every minute he is here. The Manager and her team should feel very proud as they do such a fantastic job and I couldn't be happier knowing my son is in safe hands!

We are pleased with our son's progress since he started Crafty Wizards. Lovely staff, great learning environment. A place very children can thrive. Shame there is no primary school attached to this. The school takes the safety of pupils very highly. Great going!!

We now do lock-down drills as well as a fire drill. We even have risk assessment checklists for our children to have a go at completing so that they begin to have an awareness of reducing dangers themselves. The food we provide during snack time is locally grown from our local greengrocer who provides a range of fruit and veg. Unfortunately, due to our small size as a pre-school we are unable to offer hot meals and packed lunch remains the only option at lunch times currently. Thank you for your time in writing a review. My second child is currently attending Crafty Wizards. I can honestly say they are fantastic and my two year old has settled in so well. She loves the craft activities and has made a huge variety of things, no two days are the same. The staff are incredibly supportive, understanding, creative and are
brilliant with the children. We have been kept well informed through chats, paperwork, a 'formal' catch up, what's our daughter does during her time at the nursery and how she is performing etc. My two year wants to go every day and counts down the days until she returns. I have no hesitation in recommending the nursery at every opportunity.

We have had two children attend Crafty wizards and will be sending our third there as well. All of the staff are excellent and they really care about the work they are doing with the children, not only to play but also helping them learn in a fun environment.

As a first time mummy, I was extremely nervous about sending my son to nursery, he has now been there for the past month and the staff have been outstanding at settling in my very clingy little boy. Fantastic job the staff are doing!

Dedicated staff provide a great setting for my children to learn and it prepared my eldest for Reception. They encourage reading, and drawing, exploring the environment, they do Phonics with the children, role play and more. My son loved it, my daughter loves it, and my youngest can't wait to join.

I cannot recommend Crafty Wizards enough. My daughter attended from age 2 to 4 years and she loved every minute she was there. The key workers are fantastic and extremely committed to crafty wizards and the education of the children. The activities are fun but also educational. My daughter started primary
school in September 2016 and she is confident in her written and oral communication, which is down to the dedicated work of crafty wizards. I am so happy that I always recommend them to friends and have already registered my one-year-old to attend once he is old enough, as I wouldn't consider sending him anywhere else

We could not have been happier with our experience at Crafty Wizards. The whole team and setting was perfect for our little girl. Lots of free, crafty play but also lots of structure. Our little girl started primary school in September and I have no doubt that Crafty Wizards played a key role in how
she's settled in there. She's doing amazingly well so far and her teachers are really impressed with all she knows already, much of this is all down to Crafty Wizards. So thank you Crafty Wizards team.

Crafty Wizards was recommended by a friend. I am so glad I took her advice. It is a fantastic environment for the children and all the staff are great. My child took to all the staff not just his key workers. I have recommended Crafty Wizards to a number of other parents.
