Our daughter loves going here an tells us every night all the exciting things she has done
Thank you for your lovely review, we really do love our children at Fairytales
We could not recommend Fairytales Nursery - Great Barr enough. Our son has developed so much since he started there and the staff are amazing, friendly and knowledgeable. They have demonstrated that the setting is safe, engaging and incredibly welcoming. When it came to choosing a nursery we were very picky but the team at Fairytales Great Barr have been fantastic and we haven't looked back since. Our son loves going in every morning to see his friends and dare I say, wreak havoc for the team!
Thank you so much for your lovely review - we love having him!!
Donna has been amazing every step of the way the journey has been so easy
Our little one has been here for over 4 months now and couldn't recommend them enough. They have changed his behaviour, social skills and the foods he will eat for the better. Always tells me that he has had a great time with his friends and is always glad to see his teachers.
Incredible nursery, staff are so welcoming to children and parents. They go above and beyond to ensure every family has what they need, organise trips that may not be possible for every family to do normally and you honestly feel like they are part of the family
So, where do I start on Fairytales? I want to preface this by saying that I am naturally a very anxious person. I spent hours trying to find the best nursery for my now 4 year old. Fairytales was recommended to me along with other nurseries and I think it's safe to say that I made the best choice I could've for my child. My child has built bonds with all of the teachers that she's had. The nursery are constantly doing school trips and fun days, also embracing other cultures by dedicating days towards different religious events. Looking around the rooms there's plenty of toys and activities for the kids to do, including a sensory room. The nursery have also upgraded their garden and I believe baby rooms recently and I haven't personally seen the baby rooms but the garden is lovely and full of things for the kids to do. Overall, we are sad that my daughter will be leaving to go to big school this year. Nutritious food, family environment and lots of fun is what you can expect at Fairytales
Entrusting your little one to someone else's care is never easy, but Fairytales made the transition seamless and filled with warmth. The "family feel environment" they promise is not just a tagline; it's a daily reality. The staff welcomed us, taking the time to understand our family dynamics and tailor their care to suit us. The bond my daughter formed with her key workers was palpable - one of her 1st words being the name of her caregiver! They offer a diverse range of activities and environments for children to explore and learn from. Great communication, with daily updates, including photos and videos. As someone who works in education and safeguarding, I have high standards - but they have not only met but exceeded every expectation. Safeguarding is their utmost priority, ensuring that every child is safe, secure, and loved. Childcare may come with a price tag, but the peace of mind knowing that my daughter is thriving in such a caring, safe and educational environment is priceless.
Where do I start, I purely chose Fairytales as it was very convenient for me at the time of looking. From the day my son started, we felt very welcomed by all staff. It really is a home from home, they are always holding one event or another which has been fantastic I've had comments from friends stating how much our nursery does. Hats off to one of the staff members, she arranges it all even days out for families to meet up. Once my son leaves I will be very sad they have become family. He loves his time here and it's quite clear from seeing how happy the other children are they're doing a fab job! But won't be the last of me once my son leaves once baby 4 is here I won't need to look around for a nursery we will be back.
I would recommend Fairytales to anyone and everyone.
The nursery is absolutely incredible, picked up on my son possibly having additional needs within two months of him being there. The staff are so lovely and friendly and my son is so happy, me and his father are so happy we chose fairytales.
My daughter has attended Fairytales for nearly 4 months. My daughter is enjoying her time at the nursery, she gets to learn and interact with other children around her age group. Her development has increased since starting the nursery. I highly recommend this nursery.
My daughter has attended Fairytales for just over a year now. When she started she had a speech delay and struggled to interact with strangers. My daughter is now on track with her speech, confidence and targets. This is all thanks to the wonderful staff at Fairytales. They also recognise parents' needs as well as the child's, offering support to me whenever I need it.
We really appreciate your valuable feedback. So lovely to hear how your daughter has progressed since joining our nursery family.
Staff are helpful, caring and full of knowledge.
Using this for my son for nearly a year and can’t complain at all.
My son has learnt a lot from here and still learning.
Keep it up.
Thank you for your feedback. We really appreciate this.
My kids thoroughly enjoy their time at the Fairytales Nursery.
Each day gives them a chance to learn something new.
We are so glad that the children enjoy their time with us. We do have a very caring and passionate team here at Fairytales. Thank you for your review.
But what's even more amazing is how they understand and help my kid, who speaks multiple languages. He is a bit unsure about speaking in English, but they don't just sit back. The staff really did their best to help him; we even worked out some translation sheets to encourage his speech. I'm really grateful for leaving him at Fairytales, as I know he feels safe and comfortable. It's wonderful to know my child is developing himself and getting the chance to interact with his peers. It’s never easy for a first-time mum to leave my kids more than a nursery; they are part of my son’s education. The point that could be improved though is the paperless process. Fairytales use a good online system like the other nurseries but give access only to very basic information about the child. All curricula are on paper. Other than that in my eyes, Fairytales Nursery is not just “good” but outstanding! I highly recommend it to all parents looking for a wonderful place for their child. It's where dreams come true!
It’s so lovely to hear your fabulous feedback about your experience at Fairytales. The family experience is what we aim to achieve, and it's fabulous to hear that our team are so dedicated to making this happen.
The staff really care about the children, and also the parents too. They really get to know each child and ensure person-centred care. I trust them to look after my son and to raise concerns if necessary.
We truly have a wonderful team that supports our families.
Her key workers have been fantastic. Also the Manger for her great communication with parents and for keeping the nursery notice boards up to date and looking bright and wonderful.
My daughter loves Fairytales, and would definitely recommend them.
My first daughter went to a brilliant nursery. So when my second baby was looking to start I was very apprehensive because we had such a brilliant experience before. Fairytales reassured me and have always listened to what I want for my baby. Yes, they listen to parents. My daughter settled in so well at seven months. She smiles when she knows she is going to nursery. I'm so happy with Fairytales because I know my daughter is getting the best care. The staff are professional and approachable. Highly recommended.
My daughter has been attending the nursery for a year and a half now. Her development has come on so much during this time and she has built good connections with other children and staff. She loves going to nursery. Prior to new management taking over I felt disconnected with the nursery and staff although covid played a big part in this. Since changes have been implemented and we are allowed in, I feel confident & happy with the nursery. All of the staff are lovely.
I am new to Birmingham and also a first-time mother. We chose this nursery after our 1st viewing of all the nurseries. Our heart was set on this nursery as we felt our baby would be safe and comfortable. My baby enjoys the nursery and the most important is the staff communication is excellent, uploading photos of our baby's activities and always keeping us informed. I would recommend this nursery.
