New Moon Nursery, Castleford

My nephews currently attend New Moon Nursery. They both absolutely love their days there; it's a struggle to get them out the door when I pick them up as they want to stay. The staff are extremely friendly, caring and enthusiastic about contributing to the children's development. In addition, the environment is amazing, with such a home-like feel and wonderful facilities. I couldn't recommend New Moon highly enough. Keep up the amazing work girls.

My child has been attending New Moon Nursery for 2 years and I can honestly say that she absolutely loves it. I am 100% confident in the staff here, they really do go above and beyond to provide an excellent, calm and homely learning environment. I couldn't imagine anywhere better than this and I will be truly saddened when its time to leave for full-time school.

After a pretty bad experience in the past with our son, we were very wary of private nurseries, we shouldn't have worried! Amazing staff and home from home environment. My daughter had loved her time here. She has learnt so much, always looks forward to going. Eats things there she won't eat at home (compliments to the chef!) and had made so many lovely friends.

I was very nervous about my daughter starting nursery but she loved it from day one! The staff are fantastic and all seem really caring. My daughter has grown in confidence since starting nursery here. Highly Recommend.

Also to add they do update the app daily with meals, sleep times, nappy changes, observations and this is something me and my daughter look at together each night while she tells me about what she's done.

My nephew loves this nursery. Sometimes I drop him off on behalf of my sister and I can see that him and his friends really enjoy attending New Moon Nursery. The staff are very welcoming to all and have created a positive environment for the children.

New Moon is a fantastic nursery. All the staff are kind, caring and professional. The environment is very warm, welcoming and wonderfully resourced.

My grandson has been attending New Moon Nursery since he was two years old and he loves it. He always comes out with a smile on his face and enjoys all the activities available to him. The staff are fantastic, they provide excellent care in a homely environment, the food is amazing, homemade and healthy. I cannot fault New Moon and everything it has to offer the children who attend. Well done.

My son has attended New Moon nursery for the last 3 and half years he has settled in well and learnt so much, the girls have been a massive part of his development, they helped him with everything from speaking to toilet training. I feel my son has come on so well since being there. The nursery is well run and has a friendly/family environment. I will be taking my daughter there too when she is born.

My grandson has been attending New Moon Nursery for the past 18 months and he absolutely loves it. The staff, management and facilities are fantastic, they go above and beyond and care for the children to an exceptional standard. Nothing is too much trouble, so a big thank you from all of us! This is a wonderful, homely nursery where my nephew feels safe and happy. The atmosphere when you walk in just says it all. It’s a lovely, caring environment. Would highly recommend!

We feel so happy leaving our son at New Moon, we're always greeted with a welcoming smiling face and he is always happy to stay. When we ask him 'what was fun at nursery today?' his reply is always 'everything was fun!'. He has loved it from day one. Everyone who works there make it such a lovely environment to be in with their cheerfulness and enthusiasm. He has come on in leaps and bounds and we are confident that he will be well prepared for school. Can't recommend New Moon enough!!

New Moon is a wonderful setting. My child has so much fun here. All the staff are welcoming and caring and take pride in their work. My child has built lovely relationships with staff. They have enabled him to develop in all areas of learning. My child has made some lovely friendships with children in the setting. The resources in the nursery are of a high standard and keep children engaged. There is a wide variety of healthy meals on the menu. My child enjoys the meals. My child is always busy here and always leaves with a smile. I would highly recommend this nursery.

I was really worried as a first-time mum to put my son in nursery, this nursery has made me and my son feel totally at ease, I really appreciate the time and effort the staff take in looking after my son! You are amazing guys! Thank you so much.

My little girl joined New Moon in February of this year (2018) after not settling well at her previous childminders. The staff at New Moon are AMAZING, so friendly and warm and always so inviting. My little girl is now two and a half and has come on in leaps and bounds, she loves all the girls at New Moon with some who are very special to her and she talks a lot about them at home. She attends 2 days a week and thinks she is just going to one of the practitioner's houses, not nursery, she is so comfortable there! The fees are ever so slightly more than the childminder I previously used but I would pay ten times more here knowing how happy she is and how cared for she is when there and they do so much for them, days out, events and always planning something to learn more about. This is a fabulous nursery and it is lovely to be able to praise them for all the hard work they do and everything they do for the children.

I couldn’t recommend them enough. It truly is a home from home.

My son started New Moon Nursery Specialist Day Care at 9 months old in 2017. Leaving him in other peoples care is so difficult, but at New Moon, it is like leaving him with relatives. The warm, homely atmosphere, friendly faces and love they give to my little boy, makes me feel confident when dropping him off. In fact, I know he is gaining new skills, making friends and having a great time. Fantastic nursery, fantastic staff. My son loves it!
