New Moon Nursery, Castleford

Brilliant nursery and wonderful staff always have time for you. My little boy has come a long way since starting nursery, the staff are brilliant and always full of smiles, defo recommend this nursery, best nursery I know around here.

My little boy has been going to New Moon Nursery for the last 3 years and he absolutely loves it! The staff are amazing and go above and beyond to help the kids and babies in their care. His development has come on in leaps and bounds and his confidence has grown dramatically. I cannot thank the staff enough for all they have done for us!

Our little boy absolutely adores going to nursery and often doesn't want to leave. The care and passion the staff have to help him succeed is wonderful and he has come on leaps and bounds over the past 10 months.

A lovely nursery, with a warm family feel and some brilliant staff. From the moment my child started at New Moon I have felt comfortable, confident and assured that my child is safe, happy and well looked after. She has developed and learnt so much during her time at New Moon and she loves attending. The communication is great; there are frequent updates throughout the day and regular “observations” regarding their development.

New Moon is a wonderful nursery with a fantastic team of helpful individuals. My daughter has attended since she was a year old. Allowing someone else to take care of your child can be upsetting, especially for first-time parents, but the team at New Moon have always filled me with confidence when leaving my child, knowing she is in great hands. They are caring and very child-focused. The meals are great and playtime in the garden is enhanced with all of the extra activities they implement. I don't think I have ever come across a member of the team without a smile or a kind word. I would highly recommend to New Moon.

We are so happy with New Moon. Our son started there at 9 months old and has developed so beautifully under their care. Every worker has been so kind and caring and they give a detailed breakdown of the experience our child is having when he goes there. Would highly recommend this nursery - if you can get in!

New Moon Nursery is excellent! My daughter loves her time here and has such a good bond with the staff! She doesn’t even give a backward glance when I drop her off she can’t wait to go. I can’t recommend them enough!

As a first-time Mum, making the huge decision to go back to work I could not feel happier in my decision to send my son to New Moon. I visited several nurseries but as soon as I saw New Moon I felt confident that he would receive the best care and attention as well as play, learn and develop. I’ve had only positive interactions with staff and it’s so lovely to hear of the connection my son has built with his key worker. It’s such a lovely place and I am grateful New Moon will be a part of my son’s childhood.

We always have clear communication from management and it's easy to ask them questions too. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery to family and friends.

My son moved from a different nursery to New Moon around October and all I can say is I wish he had started here as a baby. I could not fault the nursery, every single member of staff is lovely and care so much for the children. All are very professional and very approachable. All-round fantastic setting for our preschooler and has lots of opportunities for him to grow and develop at his own pace. He has made lots of great friends, loves the activities and has great bonds with the team.

We couldn’t ask for more from the brilliant team at New Moon Nursery. They literally couldn’t do more, they love our little boy like their own. They work with them on how to develop and also how to grow as a little human. They do so much with them and always keep us up to date on how he’s moving on.

I moved my son to New Moon from another local nursery. My son has SENCO needs and New Moon have been amazing at supporting both his and our needs as his parents. He has come on leaps and bounds in his time there. He loves spending his time there and drags me in each morning.

Absolutely fabulous nursery! My son has been attending since 2021, he absolutely loves going to school and he has developed so much in the last 2 years. My other son will also be starting in the next few months and I can’t wait to see how much he develops over the years. All the staff are so caring and just want the best for every child that attends.

Our little girl has been attending New Moon for over 6 months and she absolutely loves it. She has developed so much, the staff are just so amazing with her and she has built up lovely bonds. We have really detailed and well-informed updates every single day. She has such fun-filled days, with so many varied activities. I couldn’t be happier with the nursery and I wouldn’t think twice about recommending the nursery to family and friends!

My son has attended New Moon for 3 years and he absolutely loves the staff, food and learning facilities and has developed more than we could have wished, from a very shy little boy to now being very confident in play and around his peers and teachers. The staff have endless imagination when it comes to ideas for learning in so many different ways. They also have a great outside space for play, external sports coaching and a lovely veg patch for the children to learn about growing their own food. We couldn't imagine sending our son anywhere else. We have so much trust in the staff to care for him and provide everything that he needs on an emotional level.

Extra curriculum activities are available, staff are lovely and very helpful, and the nursery itself is like a home from home. I wouldn’t want my child to go anywhere else. After trying two other nurseries, we have now found one where our granddaughter is thriving. Since looking around, we knew we had found a nursery where the children are central. In a very short space of time, She confidently walks into nursery every day, happy to be there. It puts us at ease knowing that she’s not crying every day we leave her. The staff are so caring and consider the needs of the children all the time. The nursery has a comfortable, homely feel. They’ve been amazing.
