Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Park Gate

My little girl started kindergarten four months ago, and I am very happy with her progress. In the evening when I go to take her, she is in a very good mood. She is starting to speak well and very clearly. I am very proud and happy for her!

My daughter has already made a good bond with her key person, and if she is upset in the morning I mention her name and it helps encourage her into nursery.

I'm excited for Roxanna to start nursery!

Kiddi Caru have been amazing at helping my little boy settle into nursery life, he talks about the staff when he comes home and has settled so quickly. He's excited to go into school each day. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and dedicated to their job.

They always seem understaffed.

Overall, I'm happy but I don't really see any massive improvement in the communication.

A lovely little nursery.

Since my son joined Kiddi Caru in Park Gate in January he's come on so much with his speech, from day one the staff have been amazing. Throughout the settle sessions the staff were very friendly and caring and went above and beyond to try and help him settle. The management team have been very accommodating with his settle session and the times to make them right for myself and my son. He comes home every day talking about his day and the staff . With my son being a miracle baby it was very hard to leave him but with myself returning to work it was time and he was more than ready. The staff made this time very easy with the parent app photos showing he was happy and having fun and reassuring me that he would be ok. Thank you for helping my son settle and making each day fun and enjoyable for him.

A sense of poor organisational ability, lack of pragmatism, and a desire to operate with staffing levels precariously close to minimum margins pervade through the company.

My child has been attending the Kiddi Caru Park Gate for a year now. He is settled and that's because of the wonderful caring staff, providing a safe and happy environment. He enjoys coming to nursery and he gets excited when we are on our way. He is well looked after and gets along with the staff. I feel able to go to work knowing that my child is safe, happy and well cared for.

We will be very sad to leave once our son starts school in September but we trust that he has had a great start at nursery/pre-school.

My daughter loves going to nursery and I feel safe and confident leaving her in the staff's capable hands.

Everyone is so welcoming and my son adores going to nursery, which I think says everything that needs to be said! When I say that it's time for nursery, he throws his hands in the air, shouts yay and runs to the front door. They have handled everything over the past year really well with minor disruption to the children.

Many of the areas of education listed on the website don't seem to be happening with little explanation as to why, ie. cooking and language activities. As we cannot enter the building we cannot comment on most areas below in this questionnaire forcing me to select satisfactory as there is only a 'don't know box for food/nutrition/VFM?

Tapestry is an online service with pictures and progress reports. Initially, this wasn't updated very frequently but I'm noticing it is being used much more often. I haven't noticed any issues of nappy rash or not being changed. They go outside a lot and in all weathers. My daughter comes home with new words and phrases. Food is well balanced and varied. They also try really hard during tough times and have reacted well to pandemic policies and grumpy parents.

Both of our daughters have attended Futurepath Childcare from six months old until school. The standard of care, love and support that all of the members of staff have shown our children over the last 8 years has been exceptional. We trust the staff completely and our children skip into nursery every day with a smile on their faces. They spend loads of time doing fantastic activities and learning new skills. Their progress is monitored and reported. As busy working parents, knowing that you are leaving your children in a safe, nurturing environment where they are happy and loved, means the world. I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough.

My daughter has learnt so much being here and loves all the staff.

Our daughter has been here since the baby room and is now in pre-school. They are an excellent team and I know she will be well prepared for school when the time comes. Cannot thank them enough, good job guys.

We have used other settings previously for our older children (in a different area) and would 100% say this is the best out of all of our experiences for childcare.

Fantastic nursery with brilliant staff. The rooms are stocked and prepared every morning with educational toys for free play and exploring. The nursery has excellent garden facilities for all age groups. Children are fed a wide range of healthy meals and encouraged to take responsibility for helping to serve in the older rooms. Children get to go out on walks and trips to buy food. Extra French classes are provided. The care of children is exceptional, children are taught to be kind and polite as well as starting to prepare them for school in the preschool room. Both my children have attended from 9 months to school age and have loved it. I would highly recommend.

Futurepath has been fantastic. We have two children at the Nursery and they have gone right the way through from ‘Babies’ to ‘Pre-School’ and they both love it. They go twice a week and look forward to going to see their friends and the staff which have been outstanding, many of them have been there since our kids started. Regular updates are put on the online site Tapestry, great to see them learning without you there. Our children love the food which is compliments to the chef! Excellent facilities and garden with regular ‘changes’ made to learning areas. The encouragement given is also great and many of the self-sufficient skills they have learnt, I feel have come from Futurepath and it’s staff. The position of the Nursery is also great with regular ‘outings’ including the woods and the local shops. I could not rate the Nursery or the staff highly enough and if you want a comfortable, friendly but somewhere for your child/children to learn vital skills then enrol them here.
