Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Park Gate

My daughter started in January 2023 due to not getting on well at her previous nursery.

I absolutely love the Park Gate Nursery for my daughter! She's 17 months old and has been going there since she was 8 months old, they've been absolutely amazing with her in the baby room. She had trouble going into nursery for the first few months (due to strong attachment issues), the girls helped as much as they could and were so amazing with her, and now loves going in and seeing her friends and the staff. She also has had problems with food intolerance and the nursery has been so accommodating to her diet changing frequently. They're the most lovely group of people, extremely helpful with any questions I have about the nursery or about my daughter (milestones/advice on things such as disciplining certain behaviours). I feel completely comfortable leaving my daughter in there and know she's safe and well looked after.

My son attended Kiddi Caru this year and it was the best experience for both him and us. The staff made us feel very welcome from initial enquiry through to tour of the facilities, and then each day he was in their care. They cared for him like he was one of their own and always welcomed us. They have the right balance and style, teaching the children, nurturing them, keeping them engaged, and also when required discipline. My son always had a good day there, every grown-up in his room seemed to be his favourite. The management run the nursery exceptionally and wish we'd used this particular nursery sooner. Also meals are free - an added bonus as it does make a significant addition to fees so it was a pleasant surprise to our first invoice to realise this. They make each day fun, they go to the park, or the local shops if it's nice weather for ice poles, use their Forest School area, or have a coach that comes to teach sports. I knew he was safe and had no daily worries. Amazing place!

My kids used to love coming to this nursery, unfortunately the last 3-4 months my eldest has started to scream when I tell her it's time for nursery, she's non-verbal so can't tell us what's happening. She gets very distressed when it's time to go, I have had 1 update in the last 3 months on what she has been up to and practically have to beg for photos and updates of her, in the last 7 months I've had to keep both kids of about 12 times due to staff sickness. Some of the staff have been absolutely amazing and I'm genuinely gutted that I've had to make the decision to move my youngest to a different childcare provider because I will miss the interactions that these certain staff members have had with my children. Unfortunately there are many other incidents.

My child has been attending since November and they've really created a home-from-home environment. My child is encouraged and supported by the caring staff each day to grow and develop. All the children know each other's names and welcome each other in the mornings and when they leave. It's so lovely seeing my child's happy face when being collected at the end of my working day. The team are fantastic.

I am very happy with my choice to send my 12-month-old to Kiddi Caru Park Gate. As an exclusively breastfed baby, it was very challenging at the beginning, but the staff members were wonderful in providing support and making sure my baby was cared for. The staff members are loving and caring and clearly show empathy for my baby (and others) when they are upset. To me, this is the most important. In terms of learning, I love that my baby is being read stories every day and sign language is used by members of staff. I love being able to communicate through the app and getting updates about my baby and what he is up to.

Very good nursery. My child is very happy to attend and I have not had any issues with staff or other parents. Good location, great communication, very attentive to childen and quite clean compared to other nurseries my son has been at. Only shame is the spread over of 30hr free childcare over the course of a year.

I would absolutely recommend Kiddi Caru to anyone.

My son loves going to nursery at Kiddi Caru Park Gate. He settled in so quickly and has so much fun. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming. They are really caring and kind and helped so much with the transition to nursery. The app is also amazing - they log everything, every nappy, nap and photo, which is really lovely!

Myself and my husband were completely blown away by the presence of all the staff! Rerouting our child, at the near end of preschool, felt difficult until we stepped into Kiddi Caru. Our child has begun to already grow and develop in ways I may not have believed possible! The love in this environment is very obvious from the moment you walk in.

We are so thankful we’ve chosen this nursery for our little one, we were overwhelmed that she can be well settling within short periods, she seems very happy and enjoys her time in the nursery. All the staff members are very supportive and friendly. We like the observation system, as parents we all wish to find out what things and skills our little one learned and developed while she was at nursery, and this is very useful for us and helps us to get to know more about our child. We are truly grateful to all the staff at the nursery because every one of them takes fantastic care of our little one.

Although my son has not been there for long, the team have been brilliant in ensuring he has settled in very well. All of the team have been extremely helpful and have gone through the whole induction process in a professional but friendly manner. They have taken the time to get to know my son and are happy to work around him and his/our needs. I am very happy we chose Kiddi Caru Park Gate and I am very positive about his future there - thank you!

Very friendly, welcoming and caring staff. Always make an effort in the children's interests and talking to the parents a short time about their day on pick up. Very prompt updates on incidents if they happen. Get photo updates on what the children have done, which is always lovely to see. Would highly recommend for any age.

Like with any setting, there limits to what education and care providers can magic out of nowhere, but the genuine care from the staff created a wonderful learning environment for our son, where others could not. Subsequently, our daughter has joined and loves it!

I have my twins enrolled in the Park Gate Kiddi Caru and we absolutely love it here. My boys receive the best care and attention and love going into nursery. They have learnt so many key skills since enrolling and we get regular, personal updates which keeps us up to date with their activities and development. The nursery has a home from home feeling and the staff are really helpful and happy to assist with anything they can. Highly recommended!

Outstanding Christmas gathering, got to meet all of the lovely staff that work there. All very welcoming, had lots of fun and laughter. So happy that my little boy goes to this nursery! He loves it so so much! Definitely will be recommending to my friends with babies/toddlers. My child is always so so happy at nursery.

The only nursery I've come across where my son doesn't feel like a transaction. Staff have been amazing with both him and me, friendly and fun. He always comes home saying he has had a great time. I'm comfortable knowing I have the team's help to support my boy's growth and learning.

Wonderful evening celebrating Christmas. Santa was superb, giving all the children their gifts. Mince pies and mulled wine was lovely. Children had so much fun playing with snow and painting and of course visiting Santa. Well done everyone.
