Extremely helpful, friendly and caring staff. Always welcome the children when they arrive and make an effort to say 'bye' when they leave. Update on incidents when they happen. Would highly recommend for all ages. Support for parents is amazing.

My daughter started going to Kiddo Caru in April when she was only 10 months, she was only going for 1 day a week so struggled to settle in at first but the staff kept me updated and eventually she has started to get used to all of the staff. The staff we have dealt with are all caring and compassionate
and she now goes two days a week and is enjoying it more and more as time goes on.

Both my children love Kiddi Caru!
The staff are so loving and caring towards my children. My youngest is often very shy around new people, and I couldn't believe it in September when she rocked up to nursery, after 7 weeks off over summer, lots of new staff, and she waved bye to me completely unphased
that it was her first day without her older brother there to support her too. This is proof that Kiddi Caru is one of her 'safe happy places'. I have said previously that my only improvement would be to provide more challenging tasks for the more academically able kids in relation to their reading, writing and simple maths. That same week, I was informed that the nursery had invested in more learning games and resources. I was so impressed with the response and action immediately taken to improve and reflect upon my feedback.
An excellent team and a lovely nursery! Thank you endlessly to all who work there!

My daughter has recently started at the nursery. The staff have been so attentive to her needs. They have been welcoming and always greet her in the mornings with a smile and a cuddle. She cannot wait to get into the car to go and see her nursery and will ask after her key person.
The manager of the
setting knows what my child likes. She will have activities ready for my daughter when we arrive and will always greet us with a nice warm welcome.
The food at the nursery is lovely too, my daughter has dietary requirements and the cook has discussed how she can be inclusive of her needs, which means she does not miss out on any great tastes. She talks to her dad at the end of the day about what she has eaten, and she tells him how much she has enjoyed it. She regularly asks him for curry like she had at nursery when he asks what she would like for dinner.
I am so glad we chose to send our daughter to this nursery, and I would highly recommend it to other friends and families.

My little girl has been attending this nursery/pre-school for nearly 2 years. All the staff are exceptionally lovely and welcoming. My little one joined Park Gate from a different Kiddi Caru nursery about 6 weeks ago now. He is an only child so has only ever really been at home with me and my partner so going somewhere new is always a bit unsettling for him to start with but the staff in the baby rooms at Park Gate have really helped
settle him into a routine and encouraged him to be more independent. He is becoming more confident as time goes on and it's brilliant to hear about him interacting more and becoming chatty with the other babies and staff. I am very happy with the setting and so grateful he is surrounded by such lovely staff.

I am so pleased we chose Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Park Gate for our son. It’s always daunting leaving such a young child at nursery, but he absolutely loves it and is really thriving under their care. The staff are all friendly and approachable and caring. He gets excited when we go to nursery - the drop
off transition is really smooth with no tears, which I think is a sign of how happy he is there. Communication through the app and in person is great. They’ve been able to accommodate his specific and changing dietary needs as well.

My son moved over to Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Park Gate a good few moths ago and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. This was hard, but turned out to be a great move for both of us. They got my son to settle in so quickly and he’s even eating there. I've also found all the staff easy to approach
and am very happy with his chosen key worker.

My daughter has been attending Kiddi Caru since March 2023 and I have been delighted with the setting and my daughter's progress.
My daughter has learnt so much since starting nursery and her social development has come on leaps and bounds.
All staff are friendly and approachable and always take
the time to give a verbal handover despite me having access to the app to see how my daughter's day has been and this shows the attention and care they provide for the little people day in, day out.
It took some time for my daughter to settle in however, I had absolute confidence she was in safe hands from the beginning. She has now formed an excellent bond with her key worker and is quick to wave at me and say 'bubbye'.
Management have been incredible with my personal circumstances in terms of last-minute bookings and have gone above and beyond what I'd expect from a setting.
I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough. Thank you!

My daughter has been going here for almost 18 months after moving for work, what a wonderful nursery it is. We are very happy with our experience of Kiddi Caru. My son has been attending since the beginning of this year, we had been using a non-Kiddi Caru setting prior. At the previous setting, my son was very upset on each drop off we thought it was separation anxiety so were nervous about him starting a
new setting. However, with the compassion and care showed to my son he soon began to love going to nursery, for a while now he just walks in and doesn’t look back! He talks about nursery, what was such a negative experience for him is now so positive.
The staff are fantastic, we receive good feedback, I feel he has developmentally come a long way since joining Kiddi Caru. We couldn’t be any more pleased. Thank you to the team, you are amazing!

My child has been attending this nursery for 4 years, the baby room was a nice home-from-home room, and he enjoyed lots of messy play and the girls were always very loving. As a toddler and preschooler, he has really enjoyed the freedom of the outside space and the sports coach sessions more recently.
The preschool staff have been very good at providing him with extra SEN support, setting schedules in place and allowing for a special menu at lunch. He has thrived with the support of staff to become more independent and confident.

My son has attended for around 11 months and they were amazing at settling him in when he was a bit unsure at first. My daughter has been attending for just a few weeks, she has never left my side before but felt she would benefit from some time with children her age.
The staff have been so lovely and patience in getting my daughter settled and making her feel safe to trust another adult suggesting ways to make her
happy.
I receive updates through her time there so I know she’s okay which really helps my anxiety being away from her too and I can see in the photos how happy she is. I think their family app and this communication are so important for parents and it also documents some lovely key moments and memories.
My daughter does so much in a day, they have such a lovely variety of activities to suit all, great food menus and always have an ear if you need. Thank you.

Kiddi Caru Park Gate has been an amazing experience for us so far. It has been 8 months since our little one has been going to her first nursery. As a new parent, the staff at the nursery has made us comfortable about nurseries and how it is beneficial for a baby to attend a nursery. Initially, we thought
our baby will never be able to go as she was having separation anxiety, however, with her nursery we have never experienced this issue. Now she is always happy to attend and keen to meet her friends at the nursery. We are happy with the approach the nursery takes to provide us with an update on her day via the app. Also, we are grateful for all the recommendations the nursery has provided if something is not working out i.e with her weaning or if she is taking less milk.
Thanks Kiddi Caru Park Gate and I wish we continue with this amazing experience.

My son has been attending Kiddi Caru Park Gate for a month now and we are so happy with the care he receives. I was nervous about leaving him, as he was only 7 months when he started, but the girls always upload pictures onto the app for me to see and when I collect him I always get a full handover.
He is always taking part in different messy activities that I can’t always off at home. They also provide great meals that he loves.

An excellent nursery and pre-school. My children love attending and have made lots of friends here. For the past 1 year. In my opinion, the nursery is biased maybe because our kids look different, I'll not be surprised seeing that the Basingstoke branch has had similar issues before.
They asked of my 3year old to tidy the garden whilst others were in class and when we spoke to the key person about
it, she said otherwise and gave us attitude for days.
They keep reporting us to Social Services without proof or even speaking to us about it on several occasions, even after we spoke to the management about it.
They never acted on any concerns we brought to their attention about an injury our child sustained on 2 occasions.
They always say our kids finish their meals even when I know they don't like the meals and surprisingly once we are out of the door kids will start saying they are hungry.
I have honestly avoided this review because I didn't want my review putting my kids in more harm but when we had the Social Service at ours again on 5/4/23, I knew I had just had enough of them.

If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 60 number of registered child places is 12, which has been reached with 39 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
