Bright Horizons Hinchley Wood Day Nursery and Preschool

My daughter has been at the nursery for a year now and started when she was 18 months old. I have so impressed with the staff and the environment. She has grown in confidence and learnt so many new things. She's always excited to go in and happy at pick-up. The staff have been supportive and really got to know her, as well as tailor activities to her needs. The manager and three other members of staff, in particular, have all been wonderful. Would highly recommend!

Well managed nursery with great staff. Our son is very happy and settled. The nursery communicates very well and organises varied activities that enriches the all-round learning. We would highly recommend to future staff and/or parents.

Our little one has been attending Bright Horizons, Hinchley Wood for over two years now and he loves it! Despite the challenges of the pandemic, the staff helped him settle as quickly as possible. He has made some lovely friends and has a great relationship with the friendly staff. Through the Bright Horizons app, we are regularly updated throughout the day as to what he has been up to and what he has eaten. We love it when photos are posted of the learning activities he has undertaken.

Our son loves nursery and his key workers and all staff. The nursery is a great place for him to develop and make friends. The staff are kind and attentive. Overall, very positive experience! Thank you.

Overall, the nursery gives a good service of care. My daughter comes home happy and I know what activities she has done. Recently I have been given some updates on the day she is having, I sense the teachers show concern, care, and enthusiasm which is great. Took a while to feel comfortable and happy with the service and care but as we have attended the nursery for over a year now we are settled and it seems the team at the nursery and management is also settled.

We are very happy with Bright Horizons Hinchley Wood. Through a challenging time of our little one going to nursery through the pandemic, the staff made our little one settle as quickly as possible. All staff are very friendly and the food choice seems very good. We also think the range of activities is good throughout the day.

Staff seem keen to help. Children are happy and that's the bottom line.

The class staff are friendly, my child enjoys coming in every day. Any admin issues are dealt with quickly and efficiently. Overall experience has been excellent.

Lovely staff. My son is learning well through play. He's only 2 but his speech has come on very well, he eats by himself and is starting to count.

The staff at Bright Horizons Hinchley Wood are so welcoming. Someone always says 'good morning' to you when you walk in. The rooms are always clean and quite tidy despite what goes on with the children all day. I've liked the introduction of the take away 'what they did today' forms because I'm always interested in what my son gets up to and how I can carry on the learning and development at home. I do wonder if he really does eat 'all of his lunch and tea' like they often say but he never comes home hungry so it must be a good sign!

I cannot be more complimentary of the staff. They are all so caring, loving and I feel like my two children have a home away from home. Thank you.

When we had some health issues recently the nursery staff and management really stepped up and helped us out with additional sessions. My daughter loves going every day and enjoys playing with her friends she comes home singing new songs which we need to learn. Plus the staff are helping move on the potty training.

My son attended the toddler room and the staff were brilliant! I really trusted the staff and my son was extremely happy going into the toddler room. There were a few occasions when the child to staff ratio was off i.e once or twice there were 12 children with 2 staff members. On the whole, I have been happy with the nursery.

Our daughter has been at the nursery almost 2 years now and I have to say since the new management has come in she is really thriving. She comes in so much happier and I have seen her confidence with the staff grow. This is such a lovely little nursery where the personal touch has not been lost. Thank you.

My son has been at Bright Horizons Hinchley Wood since September. He began full time here at 7 months so naturally, I was nervous. From the moment I left him with the staff, I felt comfortable and excited for my son. I could tell he was in extremely good hands and I need not be anxious. My son has a wonderful time here every day. All staff members cheerful, loving and warm-hearted. I couldn't ask for anything better for my son. Thank you!

Bright Horizons Hinchley Wood has been fantastic. Both my children have loved their time here. The staff are amazing, welcoming, fun, creative and caring. They come up with lots of varied activities for the children and teach them lots of things while ensuring they have fun. Both my sons have been really well prepared for school and have left nursery confident with lots of friends and revving to go to big school. Big thumbs up from me!

Our son has been going to nursery since he was 13 months. He is always very happy to go, he especially enjoys the preschool room. His keyworker and his new focus room teacher have been very friendly and, caring and affectionate. They look after the kids with passion. We as parents are very happy with the nursery.
