Poppies Nursery

I couldn't be happier with the care and support our son receives at this nursery. From the very beginning, the staff have been warm, welcoming, and genuinely invested in his development.

He has speech delay and his short time being at this nursery so far has improved his speech dramatically.

My son looks forward to going every day, which speaks volumes about the positive atmosphere they've built. We've seen such a lovely improvement in his social skills, communication, and independence since he started here. The team keeps us well informed with regular updates and always takes the time to listen and support both children and parents.

Fantastic lovely, nursery with amazing staff. My daughter is always happy to go into nursery and has learned and come along so much with her speech. Excellent communication and the staff cannot do more to reassure. Tracey the nursery manager is always there if there is any concerns and is unbelievably helpful. Anne, in the baby room, looked after my daughter like she was her own and she's always happy to see her. All the staff go above and beyond. Would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

My oldest daughter attended poppies and we loved her going there so had to send our second child. The staff are all welcoming, attentive, supportive and friendly. Never had any concerns. Our daughter has become so confident and I think that's down to the staff with constant encouragement. She has also come along way with her learning too. Thank you poppies.

Poppies Nursery is always clean and set out well for the children also very spacious .It is also great to see that the children get a chance to make choices for themselves by being allowed to access toys independently.

My son has developed a positive relationship with his key worker ,therefore I feel confident in leaving him at the nursery knowing he will be well looked after for the day. All the staff are so good with him and he feels happy even when he gets home. I would highly recommend as this nursery will give your child a good foundation to progress successfully onto school.

I have had a very positive experience with this nursery. The progress in my child has been so positive , she has become significantly more confident in her speech and consistently well-behaved both at home and in public. I am happy with the choice I made for my daughter to be at Poppies nursery . The staff is nice and caring. And recently I loved the way the kids were learning about growth through small projects with plants and creatures, my daughter was so excited everyday to see what's going to happen. Just wait to see what next year will look like.

Very talented and cooperative teachers they are qualified in their field and easily handle the kids.very supportive while eating ,toilet trainings and all their personal needs so mother can trust them

Poppies nursery has excellent staff who always greet the children and parents with a smile. They are very good approachable at the door in person, via the telephone and app. All questions or worries are taken seriously. The most amazing is feedback and reporting initiated from staff about any observation. The team is also flexible where needed.

Brilliant nursery with the kindest and most caring staff. My boy has presented with some additional needs as he is nonverbal currently, and the Poppies team have been so supportive and encouraging of my son's development. He absolutely loves going to nursery and has created some lasting bonds with the practitioners. The team atmosphere is always warm and welcoming and you can really feel a sense of pride in the work that they do for the children.

Poppies Nursery staff are amazing! My son joined Poppies when he was 8 months old (now almost 3). He loves playing with all the toys and activities they encourage children to join in. He is very fond of his keepers and other members of the team and he is always excited to be there.

My children have attended Poppies Nursery since they were 2, they are nearly 5 and they love going to Poppies. The staff are lovely, friendly, and excellent, the children are so well looked after. They are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. My children have flourished all thanks to the amazing teachers. I would highly recommend this nursery. We are really sad to be leaving.

This is an amazing nursery, all three of my children attended here and they loved it! The staff are friendly and caring to each individual child. There’s plenty of room indoors and outdoors with lots of activities to keep the kids busy, I would be sending my fourth child to Poppies Nursery too if we weren’t moving out of the city! So sad we have to leave, but all my children have had amazing years here, definitely recommend this nursery compared to other local ones which I have experienced too.

Poppies Nursery is an outstanding Nursery, all the teachers and staff are very helpful and caring. When my daughter started she was shy and not very friendly but now she is a chatterbox and very friendly. I wish all the best to Poppies Nursery you are the best.

I'm very happy with this nursery. The staff offer a friendly, caring approach to looking after my son. The daily activities help to develop my son’s learning as well as lots of free playtime. My son is always happy to be dropped off.

Having viewed a number of nurseries, upon viewing Poppies I immediately knew this was the nursery for our daughter, and I haven’t been proved wrong. Our daughter joined at 8 months old and the Baby room team have taken amazing care of her in the 9 months that she’s been at Poppies Nursery. All of the staff are a delight and our daughter is clearly comfortable with all staff and especially loves the nursery manager. To drop our daughter off at nursery and see her run up to staff for cuddles is such peace of mind - teamed with the fact that she mostly never wants to leave nursery! Poppies has also been great with supporting her development, from the weaning process, to walking, and supporting her love of singing and playing. I have no reservations in recommending Poppies. It’s been the best decision for us.

The team at Poppies Nursery have been amazing - both of my kids attended. We have had their support to care for our children since 2020 and it has been an amazing journey. They are thoughtful and responsive and make such a difference to our little ones' growth and development. They show an interest in parents' well-being and often ask how we are. My children are very positive about their time there and have been so happy throughout!
