My name is Shivani and I am the Nursery Manager at Monkey Puzzle West Kensington!

I have been working in Early Years for 13+ years. I chose this career because of the joy and innocence the children bring, knowing I can teach them something new. When I started my journey, I began as a newly qualified practitioner from college. I love this job because I am able to encourage children to express themselves freely. I love seeing the difference I make to the children and their families.

I joined Monkey Puzzle West Kensington because of the children, their families and the staff - it felt like home. I joined Monkey Puzzle as a Deputy Manager and became the Nursery Manager within 18 months. I managed a new site, completed my Level 5 in Management, and managed 2 sites at one time, whilst training up another Deputy Manager so she could take over one of the sites.

My name is Vicky and I am the Deputy Manager (maternity cover) at Monkey Puzzle Loughton!

I have been working in Early Years since 2001, progressing from an Unqualified Practitioner up to my current position. I chose this career because I found out at a young age that I couldn't have children myself, however, I had the love to give, so thought this would be the perfect job. Every day is different when working in a nursery, I love teaching the children new things.

I have been working in Early Years since 2008. When I was at school, I had the opportunity to help in a preschool throughout the summer and I fell in love with it, which made me sign up for a Level 2 course. I started my career as a Teaching Assistant in a school before moving and working my way up from Nursery Practitioner to Room Leader. I love seeing how unique each child is in themselves and how they have their own perspectives and ways of doing things.

I have been working in Early Years for 9+ years. I started as a nanny, before completing my Level 3 Qualification, with my next step being Level 5. I chose this career because I really enjoy seeing how children learn and progress and being there to achieve a goal in their milestones. I also work well in a team and a nursery offers that.

I have been working in Early Years for 20+ years now. I was directed onto this career path who met me while I was babysitting. I found out that I loved working in a nursery because I was able to teach the children through play. I was able to experience the joy of the children repeating what they have learnt.

When I began my journey, I started as a Nursery Practitioner and have now progressed to a Senior Nursery Practitioner and am thoroughly enjoying my new venture.
