Bright Horizons East Barnet Day Nursery and Preschool

The team run a great nursery, both our girls have always felt safe and happy. The team always provided excellent feedback from the day's activities and made a fuss of the kids regardless of what mood they may have been in at breakfast. Keep up the good work

Both my children have attended the nursery since she was 9 months and have had the most wonderful experience. They are happy to go in each morning and excited to see the staff and their friends. They come home full of stories about their adventures and the delicious food they have eaten. The staff are so warm and friendly and my children have learnt so much from being at this nursery.

My son has been at the nursery/preschool for three years, and I can genuinely say that he has received the best support, care and affection. I have loved watching his relationships flourish with each of his key care workers, and I have always felt 100% confident leaving him in their care. Thank you for to everyone for taking such great care of him and for playing such an important role in his growth and development.

It really is a super nursery, with a great team of professionals and great outdoor space.

We have been with this nursery for the last 3.5 years and my second child has now joined. Both children are very happy and have good relationships with the staff. The management team are always prompt in their response to queries and supportive/cooperative.

The outside area is secure and a lovely space for all the children to enjoy.

I absolutely love this nursery. My son has been going since he was 2. The teachers are all amazing and all the staff are so lovely and patient and kind. I always say to my friends and family that I wish this could be his primary school too as I don’t want him to leave. He’s so happy there. I feel safe every day knowing that he is in the best of hands and enjoying his days at Bright Horizons.

Both of my children have been looked after by the East Barnet team, from babies until pre-school, and I can genuinely say they have received the greatest love, support, care and attention, and had lots of fun along the way.

We value the contribution to each child's personality and development that each room's staff (and not forgetting the kitchen team!) has given.

Having been at the nursery for the past 6 years, we have seen the teamwork to create and deliver a caring, nurturing and educative environment with every visit, in a super space for little ones to play and enjoy.

Our son was only at the nursery for a short time, however, it has still been a great experience for him. All the staff are so welcoming and friendly. We have been very impressed by all the interactions and care given. We wish we had got him into the preschool sooner. He has really enjoyed his time here and learnt a lot. Thank you.

My son had 3 fantastic years at Bright Horizons East Barnet Day Nursery and Preschool. The staff have been wonderful, friendly and caring. My son has thrived under their care and attention. The facilities are great and good outdoor space.

I am very happy with this nursery and so is my son. He has become very close to the staff and his friends. He loves going to nursery and has progressed well. I would recommend this nursery.

My little one has so much fun and gets so excited when she knows she is coming to nursery. The staff settled her in so nicely and are pleased to see her. There is a wide range of activities both indoors and outside so she is never bored. Thank you for looking after my daughter so well.

Amazing nursery, with amazing staff! Very friendly and easily approachable. Always flexible to all our needs! Now there is decent management in place, the nursery is definitely running more smoothly.

The whole team were so great! They really tried to help my son settle in as quickly as possible. They were great in catering to his sometimes fussy food choices. The staff were amazing in keeping in contact and reassuring us if we left our son at nursery upset. All the team in the toddler room were so caring and really felt my son's emotions were catered to. I'm just sad he didn't get a chance to stay at nursery longer! Thanks so much.

I have always been very happy with the care my son receives at nursery, he is very cheery when I collect him and keen to go in the mornings - a dream for any parent who has to send their child to nursery. He has recently moved on from the Toddler 1 room and on leaving we were given a book reporting on his development, I showed this to a health visitor at his 2-year assessment, she had never seen such a good record of a child’s progress and described it as an excellent example. I am pleased to say my daughter is currently also doing well and being looked after perfectly in the baby room and I look forward to her and my son’s continued progression through the nursery.

Overall, I'm happy with the nursery but feel some of the resources need updating considering what parents pay.

Our son loves coming to Bright Horizons East Barnett Day Nursery. He enjoys playing with his friends and learning new things every day.

My daughter has only been here for two weeks but I can see she is enjoying herself. She has settled in well.

Kitchen team meals are well prepared and exceptionally tasty. Not a bad word to say!

Bright Horizons East Barnet Day Nursery and Preschool has been a good place for my son. He started when he was a baby and he is now in preschool and he has been enjoying all the activities and food at the nursery and is happy and always looking forward to going to nursery.

The staff are also always ready to listen and they encourage an open and communicative environment. Top marks!
