Absolutely amazing nursery! My daughter started in September and I was extremely apprehensive to leave her. Immediately, her key person was supportive and approachable to her and my daughter quickly became a huge fan, she has since built great relationships with all staff in the room. Although all staff are great, I cannot praise her key person enough, she is always willing to go above and beyond for my child and answer any questions we may have as parents. She also takes the time to speak with my older child and include her in pick-ups and drops offs and is now her ‘best friend’ despite not attending the nursery. The management are also amazing, they have always made themselves available to discuss any issues and even helped me access the app when I was unable to. I honestly cannot recommend this nursery enough!

The whole team, from management to the chef, are best in class. Our daughter's key worker is simply amazing. We continuously chat about development points and my daughter absolutely loves going to nursery because of the skills she learns and games she plays with the carers and the friends she has made.

The team at Charlton Co-op is amazing. The place is very well run, communication is good. We had both our daughters at the nursery and both really enjoyed it. One has now moved to the Sherington School and the transition was easy and the close links with the school are very useful. They offer wrap-around care when children go to school, which really helps with the transition. The team also really helped with one of our daughters when she had behavioural issues. They listened to what we thought could help and had their own suggestions. It really felt like we were working together to address the issue and it worked! More generally, all the staff are caring and provide a warm and safe environment to the children.

Our child's key worker has always been absolutely brilliant. Great attentive care and good communication each day upon pick up. Also, the app is a really usefully tool to engage with key workers with real-time comments.

Current son has been there for over 3 years and is always happy. The team are great and do a fantastic job. The nursery manager treats all the children like her own and has been an enormous help. Recently, my son has been getting some exciting homework from his key person where he is learning how to write his name and recognise letters to get him ready for nursery which has been really helpful. He has also been set homework which requires him to make something which he is really enjoying since he loves arts and crafts.

We have had the best experience at the nursery. My daughter started in September, and she absolutely loves it. Her key carer is amazing and communicates to us so well about her day and development. Also, all the staff at the nursery know her and she is comfortable with them all. The activities the staff put together are really creative and aimed at helping her develop skills, and she has learned so much there already. We chose the nursery because my stepdaughter went here a decade ago and raved about it. It is great to see that it has maintained such high standards of care.

One aspect that truly stands out is the consistent and transparent communication. I always receive updates on what my child has been doing throughout the day, which provides peace of mind. Knowing that my child is well-cared for and engaged in various activities puts me at ease while I'm at work. Overall, I highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a nurturing and communicative environment for their child.

Excellent. We attended Grandparents morning and were impressed by the activities and everything and all the staff and management. They provided us lunch which was a delicious fish pie with plenty of good quality fish like salmon in it and obviously cooked on the premises. The pudding was stewed fresh apple which was excellent as not highly sweetened and the custard was just right. The children ate all of theirs, including our grandson. The only observation was that they are short-staffed at the moment so need extra help because 2 to 3-year-olds need more supervision outside of lunch and food times.

The Co-op Childcare Charlton opened its doors to the children's grandparents this morning. We painted, threaded beads, modelled with playdough and much more. It was a joy to spend time with my grandson and also to be involved with the other children and grandparents. What a great idea. It seems everyone enjoyed it. Let's hope they decide to do it again. We were even invited to a delicious lunch!

My first daughter started at this nursery ten years ago, and my new daughter just started last month. The nursery has been consistently incredible over the entire period. The staff are caring, and the procedures in place both to protect your child and to monitor their developmental progress are top-notch. I think the leadership of the nursery really ought to be commended for keeping the nursery so excellent for so long!

Simply amazing nursery! My son has been attending the nursery since September we loved the nursery from the time we viewed it and the staff are outstanding, management are excellent, the app to update me of my sons daily activities is great. Thank you to the entire staff!

The Co-op nursery has helped us manage the last few years really well. The team clearly care a great deal and has been very accommodating and flexible around us. More outdoor space would be nice, and the costs are high but these are reasonable in this part of London.

Under the care and stewardship of the manager and one other, the Co-op Charlton nursery has become our girl's home-from-home. It has the perfect balance for nurturing a child, with the morning set aside for learning and play being given the afternoon, which other nurseries seem to lack. We couldn’t think about our girls going anywhere else (this side of school, obviously!).

We have been so impressed by the settling-in process at the nursery for our 2-year-old. The people in Butterflies are so caring, especially two members of the staff in particular. The manager has been very welcoming and informative too. Thank you all!

Our experience with the nursery has been lovely. My daughter enjoys going there as the staff are very welcoming. She has learnt so much from the nursery despite only going there 2 days a week. I was anxious at first deciding to pull her out of her previous nursery but it has been one of the best decisions I have made by far. I look forward to watching her grow within the nursery!

My son started at the Co-op Childcare nursery when he was 13 months old. The staff were very understanding and supportive in his settling days and the first couple of weeks (he had a fair bit of separation anxiety in the first fortnight or so) and they’re good at giving me feedback on how he’s doing and what he’s up to during the day. Overall it’s been a very positive experience and I’d recommend the nursery to other first-time parents!

I deliver my granddaughter once a week and fetch her once a week from the Co-op Childcare Charlton nursery. I find all the staff friendly, professional and helpful. They always greet us by name and they always afford the time to have a brief conversation with both me and my granddaughter. They greet and welcome her with an engaging attitude and so she is always happy to toddle off without a backwards glance. This is a happy place!
