Your Co-op Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-school Charlton

I couldn't imagine to live my daughter somewhere I am not present to help and assist her. But when I did a visit and she started her days at nursery she is really happy and excited to go another day. She always mentions her teacher Alex and the activities that she learned. I am so happy and my heart is comfortable now. I am so grateful.

My daugher is at Charlton branch and we are si happy with the staff first of all,theyvare so carrying her, and also firm, but with love. The conditions are also good and clean. She already looks settle after just few days.

My Child's teacher has very good listening skills. When we joined i explained my difficulties and she has constantly kept me in loop of his progress. We are not were i want us to be but I love how she feeds back at me by sending me weekly reports.

Could not ask for more from a SEN perspective.

We are currently having a fantastic experience with Coop Charlton. The new management has really transformed the nursery, they are responsive, the children are happy and safe, the nursery keep you updated throughout the day, nothing is too much trouble, handover is detailed and it is an absolute pleasure to see our 20 month old run in every day excited to be there.

Our son began in the baby room last year and we are so happy with Charlton Co-Op ! The nursery staff are fantastic and you can tell they really care about their charges. Similarly, management are great and go out of their way to know us as a family and accommodate our needs. We have noticed our son learning all sorts of new things from his peers and key workers which is wonderful to see, but most of all he is happy, safe and cared for. There's also a strong sense of developing new strategies and improvements in the running of the nursery. I've already booked our new baby to begin at the same nursery when she comes of age!

Outstanding nursery; we are lucky to live around the corner from Little Pioneers Charlton and we sing its praise to anyone who will listen! Beautiful building for the children to play and learn in, big outdoor area. Recently gone through a full refurbishment with new toys for the children to play with. Beautiful touches such as a sharing library and nominating outstanding members of the team that month at the entrance. Staff are supportive, welcoming, kind to parents and are excellent in their caring responsibilities. I was nervous about leaving little one at nursery when I started back at work but I shouldn't have worried. She was always well looked after, I got personal feedback each day and now she runs into nursery she loves it that much. The team at nursery really do feel part of our family given grandparents live far away. We cannot speak highly enough of four members of staff in particular and the team x

I would 100% recommend this nursery to anyone.

The quality and safety standards of this nursery have dropped significantly since new management took over in April-24. My children have been coming here daily for the last 3 years, and the previous 2.5 years have been brilliant and agree with previous reviewers. However, in the last 6 months, we've seen a significant increase in accidents and incidents at the nursery. We've been promised improvements in processes and procedures on multiple occasions but we've not seen these implemented. Just recently our daughter experienced a major injury through clear negligence and oversight, which could have been avoided if the nursery had taken action to minimise the risks which were known to them. Highly disappointed with the way this nursery is run today.

We are so happy that our daughter gets to go to such an amazing nursery! The staff truly care about the children and know all of them well. There are always a lot of planned and educational activities going on. Really a lovely atmosphere!

The manager and all of the staff are wonderful. Both of our boys have been in their care and I can’t speak highly enough of their time at Charlton Co-op.

This is a wonderful nursery. Two of my daughters attended Co-op Charlton, spanning up to 9 years. In all that time the staff have been friendly, engaging and devoted to my children's welfare and development. I cannot compliment them all enough. The nursery manager is an exemplary figure. You can see she cares and loves each and every one of the children and they love her too! All feedback is taken onboard and actioned accordingly. Staff are always ready to provide an update on the kids or share funny stories to keep us updated on how our child's day has been. I highly recommend the nursery. It's great all around!

They've gone above and beyond in so many ways. When my son had a serious broken leg, they accommodated his recovery needs with sensitivity and created a space where he still felt included. More recently, their expertise and encouragement during potty training have been invaluable, making the process so positive. Beyond specific situations, we appreciate the everyday care and attention all the staff provide. The teachers are dedicated and create a nurturing environment where my son can explore, learn, and make friends. He comes home happy and engaged, excited to share his experiences and new skills. We feel confident that his time at Charlton Co-op has laid a strong foundation for his future, and we're incredibly grateful for everything they've done.

Staff have been very supportive to both my daughter and our entire family. As a family from a minority ethnic group, l have always felt that my child and the entire family have been included in every step and activity that my child gets involved in! An experience l had not experienced in previous nursery settings. And for that reason, it’s my opinion to say that Charlton is outstanding.

Our daughter has been attending for breakfast club and after school club. She really enjoys it, and I have every confidence in her safety and security at the nursery. She likes the staff and has a good time; they are welcoming and give excellent feedback on her activities and any incidents.

Our daughter has been attending Charlton Co-op Nursery for almost 2 years. We have watched her develop and thrive during this time. The whole team have been hugely supportive and we can see all of the learning activities the team organise really helping her development. We are provided with regular feedback and things for us as a family to concentrate on at home to help her progress. The team are all very warm and caring and our daughter clearly finds it a very safe, warm and nurturing environment.

My daughter has been going to this nursery since 2021 and she absolutely loves it! The staff are extremely helpful and supportive and look after children so well. We feel our daughter is in safe hands!

Absolutely amazing nursery! My daughter started in September and I was extremely apprehensive to leave her. Immediately, her key person was supportive and approachable to her and my daughter quickly became a huge fan, she has since built great relationships with all staff in the room. Although all staff are great, I cannot praise her key person enough, she is always willing to go above and beyond for my child and answer any questions we may have as parents. She also takes the time to speak with my older child and include her in pick-ups and drops offs and is now her ‘best friend’ despite not attending the nursery. The management are also amazing, they have always made themselves available to discuss any issues and even helped me access the app when I was unable to. I honestly cannot recommend this nursery enough!
