Bright Horizons Norfolk Lodge Montessori Day Nursery

I have two children at Norfolk Lodge in separate classes and they are absolutely thriving there! The staff, environment and the effort put into daily activities for the children are all exceptional. There is a good variety of healthy meals and snacks. Forest school and a wonderful outside space. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery to anyone looking for a friendly nurturing environment for their children!

The senior leadership team and all the staff members who have taught my children have always been incredibly supportive and nurturing. I feel genuinely listened to, and it's clear that the teachers know my children very well. They provide thoughtful, individualised support, tailoring their teaching to meet each child's unique learning needs. I have highly recommended this nursery to many parents and they have all been equally impressed and happy with their experience.

Exceptionally caring and developmental nursery. We enrolled our child here having been at another nursery in London last year, and have been so happy with our decision. The staff are extremely dedicated to both caring for the children, and providing a supportive and educational environment.

This Montessori nursery is absolutely wonderful and came highly recommended by a friend. Our daughter, who is quite sensitive and was initially very attached to me, had a slow settling-in process. However, the nursery staff were incredibly supportive throughout, and the teachers were exceptionally kind and helpful. They managed to help our little one feel comfortable, and now she loves both the school and her teachers.She often creates arts and crafts at school and proudly brings them home to show me. The nursery is very creative , educational and caring, offering a forest school once a week where children can explore nature. The nursery is situated in a beautiful location, surrounded by woods, and I'm thrilled that my child gets to experience the outdoors in such a lovely space.All the teachers and management staff are simply amazing. I highly recommend this nursery.

My daughter joined when she was about 18 months and has loved every single day she has been there. All of the teachers are incredible and so are the support staff. She has always been so comfortable and happy and so have we. We had an awful experience with a nursery previous to this one, so it was a lovely change to such a supportive and kind environment.

I have no hesitation in recommending this nursery to anyone who is looking for an excellent nursery.

My baby has been attending this nursery since September, he has learnt so much already. I'm excited to see what he learns in the future here. He has bonded well with all staff in the baby room and his key person. He is very happy to go to them in the morning at drop-off. The staff are friendly and update me about his day regularly using the app.

My second child now goes to Norfolk Lodge and I couldn’t be happier. It’s a very well-run nursery and there aren’t enough words to express just how awesome the staff are.

My daughter and son have attended Norfolk Lodge and they have loved it. My son walks into his class happily every morning and talks all the time about his teachers at home. The level of care is excellent!

The facilities are excellent, with lots of outdoor play, and the menu and food are carefully thought-through and nutritious.

My eldest started here aged 1 in 2018 and my youngest joined in 2021. We have had a positive experience in all classes, each member of staff has been supportive and kind and my children have been very happy. They have become independent, confident children and have learnt so many new skills. The outdoor space is like nothing else in the area - they have so many opportunities to discover new things and play. The food (cooked by a lovely chef onsite) is excellent too.

After 2 years, our twins have just left Norfolk Lodge, more than ready and prepared for big school. They had the most fantastic experience at Norfolk Lodge. The staff are so caring and welcoming, and simply couldn't do enough for the twins. From the first time we met a teacher on the tour, we knew this was a special nursery. She is an amazing and kind-hearted teacher and the twins simply loved being in her class with her. From the first day of settling in as 3 year olds to leaving as nearly 5 year olds, the twins have loved every minute of being at nursery and have learnt so much, including their numbers up to 20, writing their own name and developing a thirst for learning which is nurtured and encouraged by all the different activities such as learning about Diwali, Chinese New Year or science as planned by the teachers. The nursey has amazing outdoor grounds (woodlands, playground and courts), clean facilities, good food choices! Highly recommended!

The nursery has been amazing. We've had both of our boys in (one is finished, the other still in) - we couldn't ask for more. The staff are warm and caring, but also push the development of the children. There is a great amount of space and substantial outside time to explore.

All the staff go beyond their realms of duty. There is something very special about this nursery. My daughter has progressed and going from an anxious child she is now one of the most confident. I can’t fault this nursery, they are amazing.

The nursery is incredible, which is all thanks to the amazing staff and brilliant facilities. The garden is huge and there's a lot of outdoor play. My daughter is so happy there and I thoroughly recommend it.

Norfolk Lodge is a brilliant nursery. I sent my daughter there for 3 years and my son has been attending from the age of 11 months old. The staff are really caring and engaged with the children. Both my son and daughter settled in very quickly and my son often doesn't want to leave. My daughter was quite shy initially but gained a lot of confidence here and looks back at her time at Norfolk Lodge fondly. The activities and outdoor space is amazing. The classrooms are always clean and filled with attractive activities for the children. I plan to send my third child to Norfolk Lodge as we have had such a wonderful experience. Really highly recommend it.

Norfolk Lodge is an incredible nursery that I cannot rate highly enough. Their care for the children is second to none and the activities they do with the children give them the best start in life. The classrooms are fantastic and the outdoor space is incredible. My son struggled with separation anxiety and they were so nurturing and now he absolutely loves going to nursery, running in without looking back. I cannot recommend this nursery enough!
