Holly House Nursery is part of a chain of nurseries - Clear Day Nurseries. The Nursery offers a loving homely environment for your child. Holly House has been established for over 20 years offering care for children aged 3 months – 12 years old. Management and many staff have been part of the nursery for over 10 years.

The large house and purpose built pre-school unit offers age-appropriate activities and resources ensuring a fun-filled stimulating day. The fenced garden with climbing frame gives an opportunity to explore the great outdoors. A wooded forestry area allows the children to explore nature in a safe outdoor environment. The children love to draw on the chalk boards, sow the vegetable patch and gain some knowledge of the outdoor world in their small forest school area.

Every day at Holly House is stimulating and exciting. Visits from Moo Music, Amazon Jungle, Police, Fire Service, Nurses and Dental all pop in to help assist with the educational learning over the year. Yearly themes are incorporated throughout each age range and compliment the daily activities and pre-school curriculum. School collection, breakfast club and summer scheme are available for children attending the local schools. The cook ensures that every child receives a nutritionally balanced meal to suit all cultures, dietary requirements or intolerances. Nursery Practitioners are dedicated to ensuring every child’s developmental needs are met in line with the Nursery Ethos and local HSCT.

My son has been attending Holly House since he was 10 months old. He is now almost 3 and my youngest has recently started in the baby room. I can't speak highly enough of the staff and management always welcoming always accommodating and very friendly. When my child attended speech therapy and the therapist
rang in to assist with pointers and areas he needed specific help with, the staff were only too happy to help progress our son.
Both children really enjoy their time there and come home happy and full of excitement.

My little niece has started to attend the nursery. She is really enjoying it and has settled so well! All the girls in the baby room are so welcoming. I just had to share my thoughts. They are all super helpful and really do love their jobs. I could not recommend them enough!

Love Holly House. The girls are fantastic and so supportive. My wee man loves going on his days. The ladies do a range of activities with him and I love getting his artwork home. All so pleasant and easy to talk to.

My two boys attend after school and they absolutely love it. The girls are so engaged in activities created for them and always pay interest in what they have got up to each day. Highly recommend this nursery for after-school care.

My grandson attends Holly House 2 days a week. He really enjoys it and has come on leaps and bounds since he started. All the staff are fab, the food is also delicious with a great menu choice.

I am very pleased with the runnings of Holly House and its staff. The girls are warm, friendly, approachable and exactly what I look for in selecting care for my child.
I am informed in person and in writing each day of my son's menu, sleeping pattern and activities.
Hugo has only been there a little
over a month and already settled and excited to go to crèche.

I have used Holly House for over 5 years now and I wouldn't want my kids to go anywhere else. The standard of care at Holly House is just phenomenal. There is such a lovely, homely, family atmosphere in the place. To be honest, it's quite difficult to describe in words, it just feels like a home. Both
my kids have been looked after so well during their whole time there. The nursery are more than flexible and helpful with any needs that you have, from extra sessions to dietary requirements to potty training, nothing is ever too much trouble.


I can't recommend here highly enough for parents that live in the area. You and your children will love this place. As said earlier in the review, I'm not sure if I can find the words to do this place justice.

My son attends Holly House 2 days a week to prepare him for nursery school. Since joining, I have found an increase in the vocabulary he uses and his willingness to try new foods. The meals he receives at Holly House are varied and he appears to enjoy them. I am also happy that the lovely staff will
soon be assisting me when I start potty training.

My little girl loves Holly House, the staff are brilliant, she is happy, settled and most importantly thriving. She has severe allergies and staff have been amazing in working with me regarding meals, the manager has gone out of her way to ensure she is always included.

I love the nursery that I picked for my baby. I thought I would be unsettled and not trust anybody with my baby. The staff at Holly House are great. They follow my babies routine and she loves going. She is there full time and I have never had any concerns.

My son has recently joined Holly House nursery and really really loves it. The sensory play they do in baby room is fantastic as is all of the arts and crafts. We continually felt at ease during settling in and all girls are warm and welcoming a definite home from home.

I have sent all 3 of my children to Hollyhouse from 2009 - currently. They have all thoroughly enjoyed their time there and the staff have become like family to them. I couldn't be happier with the care.
