Holly House Nursery is part of a chain of nurseries - Clear Day Nurseries. The Nursery offers a loving homely environment for your child. Holly House has been established for over 20 years offering care for children aged 3 months – 12 years old. Management and many staff have been part of the nursery for over 10 years.

The large house and purpose built pre-school unit offers age-appropriate activities and resources ensuring a fun-filled stimulating day. The fenced garden with climbing frame gives an opportunity to explore the great outdoors. A wooded forestry area allows the children to explore nature in a safe outdoor environment. The children love to draw on the chalk boards, sow the vegetable patch and gain some knowledge of the outdoor world in their small forest school area.

Every day at Holly House is stimulating and exciting. Visits from Moo Music, Amazon Jungle, Police, Fire Service, Nurses and Dental all pop in to help assist with the educational learning over the year. Yearly themes are incorporated throughout each age range and compliment the daily activities and pre-school curriculum. School collection, breakfast club and summer scheme are available for children attending the local schools. The cook ensures that every child receives a nutritionally balanced meal to suit all cultures, dietary requirements or intolerances. Nursery Practitioners are dedicated to ensuring every child’s developmental needs are met in line with the Nursery Ethos and local HSCT.

I would highly recommend Holly House Day Nursery.
I am extremely pleased with Holly House Nursery's whole setting, from menu to learning and not to forget the excellent staff that are so attentive and caring to the kids and make Holly House Nursery a great place.

This is the second time I have sent one of my children to Holly House Day Nursery. I was very reassured once I saw that the majority of the staff are still working in Holly House. They are all very professional, friendly and caring. As having my son during the covid pandemic he wasn't able to get to
mix with other children. The staff at Holly house have helped my son enormously in interacting with the other kids and also settle in well when we were very reluctant to leave him. Holly House have always kept us updated with my son's progress which is really assuring when I am at my own work.

My daughter has been going to Holly House Day Nursery from whenshe was 7 months old, she just turned 4 and she still absolutely loves it.
The food is always great for the kids a great selection and she always eats really well.
They do different topics with the kids every month which keeps it interesting,
letting them do lots of crafts for the boards etc.
The new system is great, where you get daily updates on what your child has been up to and get some lovely pictures.
The staff are amazing and go above and beyond daily. I feel like us as a family have made friendships with the girls and would highly recommend them to anyone for daycare.

The staff in Holly House have been very friendly and welcoming. There are lots of fun activities each day for my child. It is a very warm friendly home from home environment which has helped my child to settle in well and have great fun.

I love this place and so does my child. As a foster parent I really appreciate the staff being considerate and caring, the manager and all her lovely staff really care about the children and they work fantastically with the parents. I’m grateful for their hours as well, a facility opened for ten and
a half hours really helps especially since I don’t have a nine to five job. The facility is well thought out, a safe environment and rooms separated to keep the ages apart but structured so that the staff are able to help each other out. They are very aware of the necessary precautions required to keep the children safe during this pandemic and have a fabulous system in place. They provide top notch meals, snacks and good wholesome home cooked meals! My child is extremely happy at Holly House Day Nursery and that makes me a happy, she adores the staff and if she’s having an off day, they take time to talk to her and understand her needs. They enjoy so many activities especially getting creative! I’d highly recommend Holly House Day Nursery.

Holly House is amazing! My daughter has been attending there for the past 3 1/2 years and absolutely loves it! She has great fun there and all of the staff are just fabulous! It means so much being able to go to work content knowing she is happy and being well cared for. The staff go above and beyond
for the children and their parents. I would highly recommend Holly House to anyone!

Brilliant nursery, excellent safety measures in place for Covid-19 restrictions. My son always has a great time when he’s in Holly House Day Nursery and is well-fed with proper food which makes me feel relieved knowing that he is having good home-cooked food and not processed heated up rubbish. He thoroughly
enjoys going outside to play, singing along in the activities that they do and thoroughly enjoys all the staff there.

Fantastic staff who are brilliant with the children. I couldn't wish for better care and activities for my son who loves his time at Holly House Pre-School room. My son is a fussy eater and he's been persuaded to try new foods during snack time which has been great at expanding his diet. During closures,

My eight-month-old son has settled in very well. He enjoys coming into the baby room every day. Staff always comment on how well he has settled in and how good and smiley he is, which has put my mind at ease from the very start, knowing he has settled so well. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Staff very helpful to make my child settle in. They are very supportive in how difficult it can be for both mother and child which make a huge difference in how you feel. I can not praise the staff enough for their patience and kindness and care. The facilities are so homelike which is reflected in

Very pleased with how quickly my daughter adapted to her nursery routine.
She has been enjoying mixing with other babies of her own age and all the staff have been more than friendly and helpful. It is nice to feel at ease when she has been dropped off and getting excellent care and attention.

I am the aunty of a child who attends Holly House. The girls within the nursery have been excellent throughout the settling in process. The care and attention he receives is excellent and I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough. The nursery is bright and spacious with lots of activities to promote
learning and enjoyment. The outdoor play area is brilliant for the children with its spacious grass area, trees and climbing frame. I would highly recommend this nursery to other parents and caregivers.
