As a busy 90 place nursery it offers a home from home environment, lead by a passionate and caring team, with the nursery filled with hand picked resources (natural where possible) to encourage self-directed play and discovery.

Outside there is a large secure outdoor space including a fire pit, echo garden and outdoor classroom, as well as a separate area for the younger children, to play and enjoy fun.

I visited a few nurseries for my son and Murrayfield was by far the best. He started when he was 10 months and the settling in period was great to get both him and me familiar with the routine and to get to know the staff. The staff are all amazing and always smiling and giving you lots of updates.
The app is a massive bonus as you are updated throughout the day and provided with photos and a short summary of what your child has been up to. My son always loves the home-cooked food and eats so much he’s never hungry for dinner when he gets home! I love that the kids are outside for a period of time most days as well. I would highly recommend this nursery.

We've been very pleased with the nursery over the last 5 years. The rooms are a really good size and well equipped. The staff are great, especially with the kids and provide a loving, fun and friendly atmosphere. I can't recommend it highly enough.

I have been really impressed with Murrayfield Nursery since my daughter started there nearly 2 years ago. The staff are very nurturing and caring and makes you feel really reassured that you are leaving your child in the best possible care. The nursery are great at communicating information with parents
so that you're always informed of what's going on at the nursery as well as knowing what your child has been doing during the day.

We visited a few nurseries before deciding on Murrayfield and I must say both my wife and I had the same positive impression soon after the first visit. We were explained in detail all the procedures followed in the nursery along with the activities and outdoor facilities. Our wee boy started his journey
at 10 months in the baby room. Being first time parents we were anxious about every little detail but the staff have been absolutely brilliant about addressing every concern. Our son absolutely loves the time he spends at the nursery and has grown leaps and bounds in the 2 years that he has spent there. He loves all the activities as well as the meals prepared in the nursery kitchen. I must add that his dietary requirements have changed over time due to allergies and the nursery has always been on top of them, something we can't thank them enough for. Overall our experience with Murrayfield Nursery has been so positive that we can't imagine having taken this journey anywhere else.

I began researching nurseries for my son when I was on maternity leave. I was recommended a few and visited them all. I found the Murrayfield Nursery to be by far the best. From my very first visit to the nursery, I found the staff to be very professional, calm and reassuring. It was appealing that
the staff were a mix of ages and experience and I found it very reassuring to know that all of the staff have professional qualifications in childcare. Also having an in-house chef is a big advantage in my view. My son started in the baby room when he was 12 months old. He is now 3 and will remain at the nursery until he starts school. He absolutely loves being at nursery and we have grown so fond of the staff who care for him and who have nurtured him whilst we have been working. I have recommended the nursery to friends and will continue to do so.

We visited a few local nurseries when we were searching for our wee man's destination and Murrayfield were absolutely head and shoulders above the others. The team took time to explain the methodologies used in helping the kids develop as well as really making sure we knew everything we needed to know.
The team here are top-notch and always super helpful, particularly given the tough times with Covid.
The wee man loves the place, he's running to get in the door in the morning and full of smiles when I pick him up. He gets fresh, made on-site food every day and is kept clean and happy despite whatever mess he may get into. They update us through the day via the app and we see all the activities and fun he gets up to.
We love that the nursery promotes environmental issues and use natural toys and playthings where possible. They've worked with us to reduce the amount of waste and single-use plastic as well.

My little boy settled into the nursery in August just after lockdown began to ease, as a first time mum in a very different world now I was very apprehensive about the unknown but the staff are absolutely fantastic and made me feel at ease with everything. I would highly recommend Murrayfield Nursery. My son really enjoys going and on occasion has asked for "more school" when I have picked him up. We have had 2 children at Murrayfield Nursery and we could not be happier knowing that our children have loved going there. The staff are all enthusiastic and also we like the fact that they recycle things to play with and the eco-garden is a real bonus. The team are also very flexible and supportive.
They also helped us with advice through things like changes in behaviour and potty training and how to manage when a sibling arrives on the scene! We have been really pleased and would recommend the nursery.

It was the best decision we made, choosing Murrayfield nursery for our wee boy. The staff have always been excellent, reassuring and enthusiastic with me and my little one. I will sorely miss the nursery and everything they do when my wee one moves onto school as he will have spent 3/4 years at the

I am so pleased that Murrayfield has been able to get our child settled in and happy at nursery so quickly. In the mornings, he goes in without even looking back, and in the evenings, he returns with a smile - clean, fed, and thoroughly worn out. All staff members are lovely to deal with, we feel they
keep us well informed, and they seem to share genuine enthusiasm about his development. It’s lovely to see pictures every day of the range of activities that are provided, indoor and out, and we are confident that the staff are providing excellent care.

We are so happy with the care and support provided to our son by the Murrayfield Nursery. The team have really taken the time to get to know him as an individual and they are great at communicating with us despite the challenges of the pandemic. My daughter has attended the nursery for over 2 years and my son for 10 months. Both started at 9 months old. Both absolutely love their time at nursery which is a huge compliment to the staff who are deeply caring, professional and friendly. Behavioural and care challenges are taken seriously and tackled
positively and sensitively. It's always great to see them coming home having learned new things and enjoyed their day.
Management is very personable and extremely helpful at all times. Our son has a medical condition which requires extra care that the nursery has gone above and beyond with us to support. We are very grateful to have them.
The nursery has handled the COVID situation admirably while being forced to close and in implementing new processes quickly for the situation we are all dealing with.

I have 2 children at the nursery and both of them love going. The staff in the baby room are very caring and attentive. They do lots of activities to help children develop and I've noticed a great improvement in my son's ability to eat, drink, walk, and socialise since he started at 9 months old.
The
older classrooms are also great. The little teds staff are all very friendly and enthusiastic. My daughter has been enjoying the educational games that they play and is always excited to share what she learned. The app is used to keep parents informed of what the children get up to and is great for us to check up on them through the day.
The management team are also wonderful and always respond rapidly to any queries or concerns. I would strongly recommend this nursery to anyone looking!

I had so many worries about putting my daughter into nursery but Murrayfield were brilliantly supportive in getting me comfortable with leaving her. I felt that they were an amazing support network for both my daughter and me while we adjusted. My daughter loves the nursery and even asks me if she can
go at the weekends. The staff are brilliant and the updates on the app offer a great insight into my daughter’s day in real-time. I would recommend Murrayfield in a heartbeat!

I highly recommend Murrayfield Nursery to other parents. The staff and management are lovely, extremely competent, caring, fun and approachable. Our daughter has been attending for 3 years now and our 1 year old joined recently and it's reassuring to see familiar faces settling him in. The facilities,

Our little girl has now been attending the nursery for almost a year (excluding the Covid closures). She seems to really enjoy her time there and we have no complaints to make at all. As with many, she had some teething issues but the staff were caring and helpful and it didn’t last. Communications
through Covid were clear and the fact they were able to apply learnings from a nursery which had already opened down south was really helpful. No hesitation recommending to friends and family.

As soon as I first visited I knew this was where I wanted my child to go. I completely trust the management and staff in each room that my child has been in so far. They provide honest feedback and know my child. He is very happy there and is provided with fantastic experiences daily. The transition
process is very smooth and supports children to progress naturally to the next age group room. His language and social skills are excellent, due in no small part to his time in nursery. Outdoor and risky play is encouraged which has aided his physical development. I never worry about his wellbeing or development which gives peace of mind for my husband and I when at work. I highly recommend Murrayfield Nursery to other parents.
