The multicultural and bilingual staff team are passionate about nurturing your child’s love of learning, fun, creativity and exploration. From the nursery's in-house chef who leads regular baking and cooking activities, to a monthly breakfast club for parents to join with their child, the team's focus is on enriching every child’s life with exciting, educational and social experiences.

Every age group has their own room with specialised activities and equipment to support their learning. The Nursery also has a calming sensory room that is available for all age groups to use at various times.

My experience so far has been excellent.


My son joined the nursery when he was 11 months old. The transition experience was very positive. The nursery stuck to my home routine (e.g. nap times), staff was very flexible and understanding. My son settled happily from day 1.


The separate sleeping

room, complete with cots and blankets is a plus, not present in other nurseries I have visited.


All staff are friendly and he has a great bond with all of them. His current keyworker (who he loves!) is excellent, she really knows him well. The team keeps us informed on all aspects of his day and are happy to give us some advice if needed (which is important to us first-time parents).


Kids are offered a number of different activities. There is an outdoor area (with separate space for babies).


I am impressed with the range of food that kids get each week (which is freshly cooked on site).


A great nursery where I feel comfortable leaving my son knowing he is being properly cared for. Thank you!

My son joined the nursery when he was 8 months old (he is now 2). He spends 5 days a week at the nursery and really enjoys his time there. The nursery staff is very friendly, caring, and responsive to individual requests. I appreciate very much the variety of activities organised for kids and parents
at our nursery, e.g. Halloween party, Christmas party, sports day, and photo sessions. I value the individual approach and also respect for various cultural traditions. Moreover, I think that the multicultural environment at our nursery is extremely beneficial for the child's personal development. Our nursery offers a variety of healthy food options and also can accommodate individual dietary requests.


As a full-time working parent, I would very much appreciate if you could consider the possibility of opening the nursery on Saturdays (half or full day).

Great team, who have looked after our daughter very well over the past few months in the baby room.
Good facilities, including a playground with slide etc. They do lots of activities with the children and - most importantly - our daughter is very happy and settled there, having bonded well with the
staff and her key worker.
Bonus for us is the fact they have a cook on-site, making healthy meals for the kids every day.
Would definitely recommend.

Our child has been in the nursery for 4 years. She is now in pre-school and really enjoys it. The staff are well trained and make the children very welcome. There is a garden so the children play outdoors almost every day. I can highly recommend this nursery.

I would definitely recommend the nursery. I feel there is a high level of qualified staff. They always take their time to welcome my child and I. If my child is upset for any reason staff always take their time to give my child a cuddle or find out what's wrong. They also give good verbal feedback at

Great nursery where I feel comfortable leaving my son knowing he is being properly cared for and comforted where and when needed. Nutritional food and outdoor activities which he loves and craves! Good staff that he has bonded with.

My daughter has been attending this nursery since she was 9 months old. I cannot praise the staff enough for their caring attitude towards all the children. My daughter is very happy there and always gets excited when she gets to the front door in the morning. She takes part in a wide range of engaging
activities and I have watched her confidence grow over the past months. She has gone from shy baby to a 'chatterbox' toddler.

My daughter is very happy at Annandale. She loves her carers and has friends there she can't wait to see when we're walking in the morning. She's always happy when we go to pick her up and it seems like she has a good routine, sitting down straight away for her breakfast and is then happy to say goodbye
when we leave her for the day. She's always doing activities which we're really happy with.


The work the carers have done on the potty training really seems to have worked, and she's really coming along when at home, which we are sure is due to this.


Her confidence and independence we think is due a lot to how nicely she's developing under the care of the Annandale staff and the play with her friends. Very happy.

Kate

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Kate has worked for Bright Horizons for over 15 years. She started as a senior room leader within the baby room, advanced to Deputy Manager, and is now the Nursery Manager. As part of this progression, she has completed a degree in Childhood Practice. Kate is very passionate about the early years and the development of children, striving to create a safe, secure, and fun space for all children, families, and staff within the nursery.


Parent partnership is key for the nursery, and Kate works hard to ensure her parents are up to date as well as maintaining community links. She wants all children, families, and staff to feel welcomed and a sense of belonging at Bright Horizons Annandale.


Working closely with her team to enhance environments, spaces, and interactions for the children, she continues to stay updated with new and current practices through home studies and training courses.

Job Title: Deputy Manager

I have always been drawn to the early years because I believe wholeheartedly that every child deserves a childhood that is joyful, full of wonder, and rich with opportunities to explore, imagine, and grow. Supporting children during these formative years is not just my job, it’s my passion.


At Annandale, I work hard to create a nurturing, welcoming environment where every child feels safe, valued, and encouraged to be themselves. I also place great importance on building strong, trusting relationships with families. I believe that when children and their families feel uniquely supported, it strengthens the whole community around our setting and helps each child thrive.


I bring over 8 years of experience in leadership roles within nurseries and early years settings, and I hold a degree in Early Childhood from The Open University. I’m currently continuing my professional journey by studying for a master’s degree in the same field.


My goal is to ensure that every child in our care has the chance to flourish and that parents feel confident, reassured, and involved every step of the way.
