Pear Tree Nursery Church Street

Private nurseries are always a big financial outgoing but this nursery is comparable if not less expensive than some other nurseries in the area and I feel it provides good value for money with long opening hours and all meals provided.

My child has thrived in his time being at this nursery. The staff have always been fantastic and are all great role models. The facilties are incredible, especially the garden and the large room upstairs. The selection of food they are giving is incredible and it blows my mind each week when we receive the weeks menu. The app and updates/photos from the day is something I really enjoy seeing. As a parent, I couldn't be happier for my son being part of this nursery with its lovely staff/other children and facilities.

Excellent nursery, with friendly and engaging staff who genuinely place the development, care and well being of the children at the heart of everything they do. The facilities are excellent with a great outdoor space and positioned locally in a quiet part of town close to parks and green spaces for regular days out.

This nursery is amazing and all of the staff are fantastic. We are so grateful for all the help and amazing care they give to our little girl.

Our Son is with Pear Tree and is greeted by the team every morning, always with friendly interaction and what seems to be personal relationships. He is happy playing in the garden most days and on collection each day the team gives a summary of the day. Couldn't fault the team, facilities, and garden.. Thanks.

Since my daughter started nursery we have found all the staff at Pear Trees to be really kind and accommodating. Everyone has taken time to get to know our daughter and she loves coming to nursery. We are so happy with the care here and they have such a nurturing approach which we really appreciate.

The garden is great and they spend a lot of time outside which I love! Thank you for taking great care of my little one!

Staff have been very good and are always cheerful. The catering has improved since suppliers changed and they have been good at accommodating our wishes for diet. Our daughter enjoys going to nursery and has made lots of friends.

My daughter moved to Church Street in November 2022 into the Sunflower room. The staff within this room are the most amazing group. My daughter fitted in so well. We had issues with going to the toilet but they have not pressurised her and she now goes on her own. She loves going to nursery every day and tells me what they’ve done during the day. Updates and photos we are provided helps us to keep doing things at home also. Best nursery.

Fantastic, friendly staff. Always incredibly helpful with any queries or concerns. My son is always excited to go and always comes home in a good mood. There are plenty of different food choices so my son always seems to try something new or discover a liking to a food he didn't previously have. Theres plenty of activities throughout the day to keep the little ones happy, as well as taking them on walks. The staff always have a smile on their face and there's a welcoming atmosphere. My son has definitely come on leaps and bounds since starting nursery here.

My daughter has started nursery this year at Church Street, and the staff have all been really welcoming and gentle with their approach for her settling in which I am very appreciative for. All the staff have been wonderful to communicate with as well.

Food choices have been a bit strange of late though - meat-free chicken and mushroom pie? My kids eat pretty much everything so I know it's dubious when he doesn't eat his meal.

My favourite thing is the updates you get on the children especially what they eat, I love that. Love being at work and seeing the pictures.

Healthy meals with good variety of different dishes for children to try and always a backup option if needed.

Very happy with everything at Pear Tree - Church Street nursery. Our wee boy loves it there and is always so happy to be dropped off. He's developing brilliantly. The staff do a great job of keeping all the kids happy and busy with fun activities.

Great nursery with very caring nursery staff. Excellent informative app. Staff very happy to help with any toddler training. Always made to feel welcome. My child is very happy to attend everyday. Will try and send any future siblings there.

Our little boy started at Pear Tree Nursery Church Street at 9 months old. The staff are very caring and always ensure that he has fun. The team really know him, his likes, dislikes and he is always happy with them. He gets to do lots of different activities both inside and out.

Amazing nursery, my son thrives in the setting. He has a great relationship with the staff and loves telling us about his day. The messy play, crafts, baking and learning experiences are brilliant. Our son loves being outside so the garden and walks out into the community are great. A staff member takes the time to update us on the running of the nursery and two others take time to update us on our son's day and development including photos.

Wonderful nursery. The staff are great, food is good, great garden for outside play and lots of walks in the community. My child loves it. Learning experience is excellent, the nursery did a brilliant job with Chinese new year

I cannot fault the care they give to her and am positive that my youngest will have just as much fun when she joins later this year.
