Bright Horizons First Class Day Nursery and Preschool, located in a very quiet area of Airyhall, has been carefully designed to support your child’s education and development, from 3 months to 5 years.

The nursery in Airyhall, Craigiebuckler is conveniently located with excellent transport links to the Aberdeen city centre. It has its own car park and is within walking distance of Airyhall Primary School.

The nursery offers a warm, welcoming environment supporting the transition from home to nursery, and excellent nutritionally-balanced menus using fresh ingredients prepared by the chef. The nursery is located in the grounds of The James Hutton Institute, which is surrounded by woodlands for children to explore.

With access to three separate gardens, your child will have daily access to their very own secret garden, duck pond and vegetable plot. The team loves encouraging children to explore all of their favourite extracurricular activities and this abundance of outdoor space gives them room to learn, play and develop their love of the outdoors.

In addition, they practise a Growing Enhancement programme unique to Bright Horizons, further giving your child the inspiration and confidence to explore subjects such as mathematics, art, reading and writing well ahead of their journey into school.

My daughter has attending First Class Nursery for over a year. I am happy with the level of care and service she receives there. The nursery itself is always clean and well looked after and all the children seem to have a good relationship with the staff.
The staff are always very warm, helpful and
understanding of any concerns/requests.
I had concerns at one stage due to several consistent staff members moving on however their replacements have been brilliant and if anything the running of the classroom seems more organised/efficient.
It's a lovely environment to leave your child in and my daughter loves it!

Very pleased with the nursery, my daughter is happy to go every day and seems to really enjoy it.
The staff are really nice and very happy to chat and tell me all about my daughters day.

Our experience so far is good. Our daughter is well adapted to the nursery and to all the staff. There is a great variety of toys to play with and we enjoy that the food is home cooked. The nursery was very flexible and agreed to use reusable nappies. There is a good park and it is not close to the
main entrance so the children seem safer. The area where the nursery is located is quiet and very green.

My son has been enrolled in First Class Nursery since November 2015 and I am thrilled at how well he has done. All the staff take time to get to know your child and your family and daily spend time with you making sure everything is ok. My son has really benefited from the experience he is gaining from
his Nursery and I drop him off knowing that he is going to have a great day playing with his friends and learning new experiences.
It is great seeing him run up to the door and eagerly want to greet his friends, staff included - always a hug for his favorite girls as he is such a flirt!
My son has an allergy to milk and I am reassured that every staff member is aware of this and his needs are catered to.
