Overall Experience
Busy Bees Melrose is an excellent environment with wonderful staff. My two, now nearly three-year-old son was not too used to other children and his speech was very minimal but since his time there his confidence has come on leaps and bounds, but also not only is his speech much better, but he comes home with a new song or two, he tells us things he observes and is better at asking for things. Our only regret about sending him to Busy Bees Melrose is that we did not send him sooner.

Due to personal home circumstances it has been difficult to time manage this, that and the other but Busy Bees Melrose have been extremely understanding and accommodating with extra hours or change of days where needed.

Sara Farquharson

My name is Sara Farquharson, and I have been the Centre Director at Busy Bees Melrose since April 2023.

I first joined Busy Bees in January 201,7 working in Melrose as 3rd in charge and Early Years Rep I then progressed to Quality Advisor for the company, supporting across the UK and Channel Islands with quality provision and improvements. I am truly honoured to say that those extraordinary opportunities over those 6 years have meant that I've been able to return to Melrose as Centre Director with a wealth of experience and passion to support our fantastic team and really give every child in our care the best start in life.

With a focus on empowering ourselves with knowledge and creating wonderful environments that inspire curiosity, creativity and imaginative play, we work together to ensure Busy Bees Melrose offers the very best childcare provision.
