Acorns ONS

The nursery has always been excellent for my children. It’s always been clean and tidy and the food is well balanced. The staff are all friendly and welcoming and the kids have enjoyed going. From settling in days to graduation ceremonies for the kids leaving, the nursery have everything covered.

My son has been attending ONS Acorns for 10 months. He’s is learning so much and his confidence is growing each week. He loves going there and is always excited to go in which makes me feel comfortable leaving him.

Both of my children have attended Acorns ONS. My youngest started last year (after transferring from Duffryn) so I’m yet to see inside the new nursery but there’s no doubt how much the staff will have utilised the new surroundings for the benefit of the kids. The girls are wonderful, the learning opportunities and facilities are brilliant and my kids love the food. My youngest often has 2 helpings! It really is a fantastic nursery, I’ve viewed others but couldn’t see sending my children anywhere but Acorns. Huge thank you to all the staff.

Wonderful nursery, my daughter is very happy here. Can only think of positive things to say. Lots of time spent outside when they can which I really like and lots of different activities to keep them busy.

My child has been attending nursery since October 2020 and I don’t have 1 bad word to say about it. She loves attending nursery, every single member of staff is lovely and my child loves each one of them. The meals they provide are amazing and the activities they do throughout the day are very good. Every time I pick my child up she is beaming and extremely happy.

I really love the app as it’s great to receive pictures etc regarding her progress and to see how happy she is. She loves being in nursery and is developing really well

ONS Acorns is an excellent nursery. My children love going here and have excelled in all areas of their development since they started. The staff are so genuine and are really passionate about what they do. My eldest is in the pre-school group and I’m so impressed with how her speech/math/creativity skills are coming on as a result of her time spent at Acorns. Highly recommend.

Fantastic nursery, both our girls have been made to feel very welcome from day one. The staff have brilliant interaction with the children and the updates are always fantastic to see. I couldn't recommend this nursery enough. Massive thanks.

The staff always have time to talk and discuss your child’s day, the new facilities are brilliant and the food is out of this world. My son has come on so much since joining and loves every second he is there. Thank you so much for all you do!

Really glad that we chose this nursery for our son, he does lots of things like messy play and themed activities that we wouldn't do very often at home and he's become much more confident with other people. The meals are healthy, he gets lots of time to play outside in nice weather and the staff are great with him - he can't wait to run inside when we drop him off.

Excellent place to send my daughter. Staff are friendly and helpful, they genuinely care about the children. I trust them to look after my daughter and care for her as well as I would myself. I have sent my child here for a while and wouldn’t hesitate to send any of my other children here.

We have nothing but praise for the team at Acorns ONS. The nursery provided excellent care for our daughter for three years and we didn’t consider sending her little brother anywhere else - he runs happily into nursery each morning! We love the family atmosphere at Acorns ONS, feel that the children are valued as individuals and staff communicate with parents well.

My son joined in November 2020 and since starting he has come on leaps and bounds. He absolutely loves going to nursery and had made some lovely friends. The staff are fantastic and always give a detailed review of my son's day on collection. All social distancing and guidelines have been in place brilliantly during the covid 19 pandemic. My son always has a fabulous day. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor activities for him and he talks the whole way home to me about his day which is just lovely. The meals are always healthy and varied. I'm very pleased that I chose Acorns ONS for my son.

Both my babies have attended this nursery from the age of 9-months and the staff have taken care of them, as if they were their own. Like most, I was nervous to leave them anywhere when I returned to work from maternity leave, but those worries were soon put to rest when I saw how much my children enjoyed attending. The routine, structure in their day and activities they do with them have really contributed to their development and the care that the ladies show is second to none. My only suggestion for improvement would be to ban shoes in the baby room. I've always thought that it would be nice if this room were 'shoe free' since the smaller ones crawl around in there, but that's me being ultra picky and if, after 4 years of sending my children there, that's all I can suggest, then I think they're doing a pretty fantastic job! Thank you to all the staff at ONS Acorns and more widely, to the Acorns team in general, who kept us informed and updated throughout lockdown. It's good to be back!

Generally pleased with the nursery. My daughter has been going since four months old. The girls are lovely and have a heart for the children. For many of them, it’s a passion and not a job. When we see them outside the nursery grounds they always take time to have chat with my little girl. When she started government nursery in the mornings she complained that she wasn’t given enough cuddles like she got at ONS Acorns. Her favourite teacher “in the whole wide world” is one of the girls at ONS. Thank you ladies. Oh, and it’s secure and has a good level of cleanliness - two factors which initially swayed us to enrol our baby there.

All the staff are really friendly and caring. Recently my daughter has needed extra assistance, due to a medical condition, and the staff have all been great, helping her stay involved within activities and even doing exercises to help her.

This is an outstanding nursery. The staff is clearly commited to the children's emotional and physical wellbeing. I cannot thank them enough for helping my daughter to grow in such a happy environment. They take pride in what they do and that shows.

Excellent nursery. My son has been here since nine months old and soon leaves for school. No problems and always will to help, guide and develop.
