Singleton Day Nursery

We are very happy with Singleton. My daughter loves it there, and the staff are amazingly supportive, always friendly and comforting for the children. I would definitely (and have) recommended Singleton!

The staff are lovely, and my little boy is extremely happy to come to the nursery. I particularly like the use of the app, which I can see what he has been up to and how well he is eating etc. We are very happy with everything.

My son loves attending Singleton Day Nursery and has done since he was 6-months-old. He absolutely loves the girls, especially two of them! Due to being out of work and not being able to afford for him to come to the nursery, it is heartbreaking, and I know he misses coming to see you all! Hopefully, sometime soon, he’ll be back to cause mayhem! Would definitely recommend the girls, they are so lovely and happy! And the manager is always so helpful with queries that I have.

Staffs are helpful and caring. They made him settled.

My son has been attending this nursery for just over a year. We are extremely happy with the care and provision at this nursery. The staff are all wonderful and are brilliant with the children. Like many toddlers, my son used to be upset leaving me in the morning, he now runs to the door. I know he really enjoys his time there, and the staff have a great rapport with him. He has a great range of food and will eat more food there than he will try at home. He brings home lovely crafts, and we see great photos on the app of the activities he takes part in. We are kept up to date of the development through the app, linking to early years development skills. In addition to this, communication at pick up and drop off is great, as well as parent meetings, and the option to communicate with staff via the app also. I feel the nursery has managed the difficulties of Covid very well, and I feel the nursery is as safe as it can be. Well done to everyone involved!

My son has been attending for just over half a year now. He is very well settled. He's too young to tell me what he thinks of the nursery, but he's always happy to go to the nursery staff in the morning and is happy when I pick him up, which is such a good and reassuring sign that he's content. Over the last few months, the nursery has started updating us parents about the day's activities more often through the app, and I really enjoy the insight into my baby's day.

My daughter has been attending Singleton nursery for there years now, and I have always felt confident that she has been well looked after and that her wellbeing is a priority. The staff seem to really care about each child and get to know them and their needs well. My daughter loves going to nursery and often comes home saying she's had so much fun. There seems to be a good mix of fun play and age-appropriate learning opportunities too. She also enjoys the food, which is varied and balanced.

Singleton Day Nursery has been fantastic. When my little boy started he was very nervous, and I was worried about leaving him; the staff there were fantastic. They put me at ease straight away, and my son loves going there. If you are looking for somewhere to send your child, then I would definitely recommend Singleton Day Nursery. It’s such a warm and welcoming place, and they care so much about the children.

My son has been going to Singleton Day Nursery since he was 8-months-old. I can't praise the staff there enough for how amazing they have always been with him from starting in the baby room to now in the toddler room. Nothing is too much trouble for them, and they are so helpful with any queries or concerns I may have. He absolutely loves going there, and I feel so comfortable knowing how well looked after he is there. The meals are always healthy and well scheduled throughout the day. He always has lots of crafts to come home with, and I am so pleased with his development; they focus on target areas for their age and keep you updated on the app along with pictures, which are great memories to keep. The app also allows me to check through the day what he has done, how much he has eaten and slept, which is really helpful. Would highly recommend sending your child to this nursery!

It is a lovely nursery, and my daughter is very happy to attend and looks forward to her nursery days. The communication is excellent between the nursery and home, and they do a lovely range of activities. The nursery has also worked really hard to make the nursery Covid19 safe, and this really seems to have worked well.

My little boy loves coming to Singleton nursery. All the girls are welcoming and caring towards him, and he has built lovely, trusting relationships with the staff. The nursery is clean, colourful, and very well organised. The app is great to check in on how my little boy is doing and keeps me up to date with what he has eaten etc. When I message to check-in, I always get a nice reply and a picture, which reassures me that he is happy. The nursery set up lovely activities for the children to develop their learning, however, I would love to see more pictures of him enjoying the activities, and would love to receive more crafts and things he has done/made at nursery. I would like to know a little more about how he is progressing with his learning, eg observations. I strongly feel that my little boy is cared for beautifully at this nursery, and he is thriving as a result of going there.

I am very happy my daughter has settled well into the preschool class and looks forward to her next session. The activities conducted are well thought of and stimulating, and she has already made some lovely keepsakes. Staff are very friendly and welcoming

My daughter has been going to Singleton Day Nursery since she was 9-months-old, and she’s now just turned three. She has come on heaps and bounds since being at the nursery. My daughter enjoys it that much that we have decided to keep her there until she starts full-time school. The staff are excellent, and I always feel confident that my little girl is being well looked after.

This is a fantastic nursery. My son has been attending since he was a year old, and his speech and confidence has grown. He has a great relationship with all the staff, and they play outside most days, weather permitting!

The new covid procedures that have come into place make me feel safe knowing that the nursery is clean and following guidelines. Singleton nursery is highly recommended.

My 3-year-old son has been attending Singleton since he was 18-months-old and he loves it! He’s always excited to go to the nursery and always comes home happy and full of life. He’s obviously very well looked after while he’s at nursery and that’s all I can ask for as a parent!

We have recently moved to the area and our 18-month-old son has just started a day a week at Singleton. We have been really impressed by the professionalism of the staff, as well as their caring approach to our son. They put a lot of thought into planning the daily activities on offer and are helpful and proactive when dealing with queries and questions. Great experience so far. Would definitely recommend this nursery.

We have been really impressed with Singleton Day Nursery. Our son has only been going to the nursery for three months and found the transition unsettling and upsetting. However, the staff have been incredibly friendly, supportive and caring towards our little boy and reassuring to us. We think the app is amazing and love seeing photos of our son playing throughout the day or seeing how he has slept/eaten. The staff are extremely professional and have always maintained good lines of communication, and have dedicated time to us at handovers. Our only slight criticism is the lack of observations and photos (we have had 1 obs in 3-months).
