This is the second time using Singleton Day Nursery. My eldest son loved it, and it’s now time for my youngest. However, to say times have changed is an understatement, with the world still in the grips of a pandemic, my anxiety about leaving my baby to go back to work was more than high. I didn’t
need to worry! Familiar faces were there to greet me, and although it was a strict drop off at the door policy, I trusted the staff. A new and very welcome addition is the app that the nursery uses. It allows me to track my babies day with everything from naps and food consumption recorded to nappy changes and if cream was applied. Each child has a key worker, and instead of dividing the children up in a 1,2,3 fashion, the staff let the children pick who they are naturally drawn towards. I would 100% recommend this nursery with no hesitations. Thank you to the manager and the rest of the team.

Our experience of this nursery has been only positive. Lovely group of people working there, who are great with the kids and put time into effort into engaging them with fun and creative activities. Also really handy/flexible for working parents thanks to long opening hours, including over holidays.

Everyone that I have met so far has been helpful. When I came to view the nursery, before my child started attending, I was impressed with the resources the nursery had available. Once my child has started, I was impressed again with how much the staff seem to care. My child has nothing but good things

I notice a lot of difference with my daughter's skills and confidence. She manages to speak some full sentences in English which was hard in the beginning knowing that she or we came from a non-English country. I also notice that she enjoys going to school, she is more vocal how she miss her friends
and teachers. Overall, I highly recommend Singleton Day Nursery.

The whole team at Singleton Day Nursery deliver an awesome environment and experience that makes our two year old daughter happy and enthusiastic to attend and gives such an enjoyable input to her excitingly rapid development. As a family we can’t recommend this nursery more. We can happily rate the
areas as excellent, which we have been able to personally experience, I’m sure activities are excellent too, however in these closed door times I feel we can only fairly review as scored, without just becoming a box ticking exercise.

My two-year-old daughter has attended the nursery since she was a baby and is currently in the toddler section. She absolutely loves it there and always looks forward to going every week. I cannot speak highly enough of all the friendly staff, and I feel they always go that extra mile. The children
have a great varied range of activities in the creche, and the food they are given is healthy and cooked fresh on the premises. Overall, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this creche to others.

Our eighteen month old has been attending the nursery for over eight months now and we are so glad that we chose this nursery for her. They always have great fun with imaginative crafts and activities and the staff are very friendly and approachable. Our daughter loves the food provided and it’s all
home cooked and child friendly. Additionally, it’s also very easy to get in touch with management and they always respond quickly to any queries. We really think that the nursery and it’s lovely staff have helped our daughter develop and grow in confidence.

My daughter has been at Singleton Day Nursery since she was ten months old and I have only had a positive experience for both myself and my daughter. The staff have looked after her so well which is a huge comfort as a parent. I love seeing how creative the staff are with all the activities they do
with the children, it’s obvious that a huge amount of time and effort goes into the preparation of said activities. A big positive for me which is a recent addition during 2020 was the introduction of the app. It is brilliant to be able to see in real-time what my daughter has eaten or activities she has done. It’s great that her development is tracked against the early year's curriculum too so that I can easily see the areas I need to work with her more at home. Thank you so much for the support you give me too. It really is appreciated.

Singleton nursery is a great place, and they have worked so hard to keep our little ones safe in these times. Big credit to all the staff for their hard work; thank you.


A little feedback is to have more information/pictures and names of the staff in each room. It’s fine if the staff move around

from time to time, but it’s nice to be able to talk to our little ones using the names of the adults that have been looking after them. The last piece of feedback is it’s great to see on the app what they have been up to for the day, it must be hard work for the staff to keep updating this, but it means a lot to the parents, and again, it’s lovely to be about to talk to our little one about their day.


Thanks again for a great place for our little one to play, learn and have fun.

My daughter loves going to nursery! I was initially nervous about how she'd settle in, but I'm so happy that she enjoys it. Every week she happily goes in and barely gives me a backward glance at the door. It's clear to see what she's learning when she comes home singing songs I've never sung with her
and naming things that she hasn't learnt with us. I'm so glad she's able to interact with other children and adults this year and it seems to be helping her learn and grow and I'm so happy that she's happy here!

During this difficult time, I must congratulate the staff on the way they have continued to give our grandson the care and attention we hoped he would have. Gone is the baby we cared for before lockdown as he has changed into a happy and confident little boy. We love being included with the daily news
and photographs of his days in the nursery, and during the FaceTime chats, he always lets us know what a good time he is having, mentions the different names of staff and the activities he has been doing. So, thank you all for your hard work.

My son is always happy going into nursery and even happier at pick up! He is very much encouraged by staff and making progress in English and Welsh! The nursery has increased flexibility through the pandemic, and that has been so important for us. The use of the new app has really improved communication,

My son has been attending Singleton Day Nursery for nearly three years, and we absolutely love it! He is so happy there and cannot wait to go in every morning. The staff go above and beyond to help and have been incredibly flexible during the pandemic with all the changes due to schools closing etc.
