Singleton Day Nursery

My child loves being at Singleton Day Nursery and the staff who look after her there. She is almost 2 1/2, and her development and growing confidence is in large part down to what she does on a day to day basis at nursery. She has made friends there and really enjoys all the activities. The staff who look after her are special and do a first-class job, including the chef who cooks some exotic meals. As a result, we, as parents, are reassured to know that she is safe and well looked after there.

Singleton is like our extened family.

Would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

My daughter arrives at nursery every day and is very happy to go inside; she is greeted with a big smile, and a welcoming environment always awaits her. Whilst she is full of life and no doubt keeps everyone on their toes, I have the utmost confidence that everyone is looking after her with love and care. I do really feel like it is a home from home for her. I also really like the family app and the ability to check in to see how her day is going. The range of food is brilliant, and I am very grateful that I know she has had nutritious cooked meals during the day, so I don't need to worry in the night. On the weekend, she must be so disappointed as snack time definitely doesn't consist of homemade spinach and artichoke muffins. The range of activities is brilliant, and developmentally, I can see the benefits it gives my daughter. I have no hesitation in recommending the nursery to anyone.

My boy loves attending this nursery. He has been able to continue developing and seeing his friends throughout the difficult times we all are currently facing. The staff are fab and are so caring, it really does make our lives better knowing our boy is well looked after and his company enjoyed. He does really enjoy going and sings some of the learned songs on the days he does not attend whilst with us on the weekend. January has seen him convert from nappies into ‘big boy’ pants. A process that is tricky and takes a lot of patience. This has been encouraged and supported by the nursery staff, who have always been positive about his progress, even if it meant additional changes and accidents along the way. He is nearly there and seems to have conquered his fear of going there down to their efforts and support!

The staff have been very friendly and nurturing towards my son since he first started nearly a year ago. They have helped him with his speech, mobility and using day to day objects properly. My son enjoys going to the daycare three days a week, where he makes lovely pictures to bring home.

We have been using Singleton Day Nursery for over 3-months, and we have noticed a huge difference in our daughter's development. The staff are friendly and caring. Our daughter loves going in and has so much fun. The nursery is beautifully presented inside, with plenty for our daughter to do/play with. Couldn't thank them enough!

My baby has settled into the nursery so well. He is always happy to go to the staff. The staff are extremely caring and kind. I feel happy knowing my baby is well looked after and settled when he is there. Also, love the app keeping up to date with your child's day.

My experience with Singleton Day Nursery is all positive. All the staff are friendly, and my child loves attending every week. I love the app, which lets me know everything that my child has done throughout the day.

Singleton Day Nursery are wonderful! They are caring, considerate, attentive and genuinely enjoy caring for our child. We especially love our app updates and getting the chance to see what our child has been up to during the day. Thank you, all.

This is the second time using Singleton Day Nursery. My eldest son loved it, and it’s now time for my youngest. However, to say times have changed is an understatement, with the world still in the grips of a pandemic, my anxiety about leaving my baby to go back to work was more than high. I didn’t need to worry! Familiar faces were there to greet me, and although it was a strict drop off at the door policy, I trusted the staff. A new and very welcome addition is the app that the nursery uses. It allows me to track my babies day with everything from naps and food consumption recorded to nappy changes and if cream was applied. Each child has a key worker, and instead of dividing the children up in a 1,2,3 fashion, the staff let the children pick who they are naturally drawn towards. I would 100% recommend this nursery with no hesitations. Thank you to the manager and the rest of the team.

Our experience of this nursery has been only positive. Lovely group of people working there, who are great with the kids and put time into effort into engaging them with fun and creative activities. Also really handy/flexible for working parents thanks to long opening hours, including over holidays.

Everyone that I have met so far has been helpful. When I came to view the nursery, before my child started attending, I was impressed with the resources the nursery had available. Once my child has started, I was impressed again with how much the staff seem to care. My child has nothing but good things to say about the staff and other children.

I notice a lot of difference with my daughter's skills and confidence. She manages to speak some full sentences in English which was hard in the beginning knowing that she or we came from a non-English country. I also notice that she enjoys going to school, she is more vocal how she miss her friends and teachers. Overall, I highly recommend Singleton Day Nursery.

The whole team at Singleton Day Nursery deliver an awesome environment and experience that makes our two year old daughter happy and enthusiastic to attend and gives such an enjoyable input to her excitingly rapid development. As a family we can’t recommend this nursery more. We can happily rate the areas as excellent, which we have been able to personally experience, I’m sure activities are excellent too, however in these closed door times I feel we can only fairly review as scored, without just becoming a box ticking exercise.

My two-year-old daughter has attended the nursery since she was a baby and is currently in the toddler section. She absolutely loves it there and always looks forward to going every week. I cannot speak highly enough of all the friendly staff, and I feel they always go that extra mile. The children have a great varied range of activities in the creche, and the food they are given is healthy and cooked fresh on the premises. Overall, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this creche to others.

They have been amazing with our son; he's always happy, loves the staff, and is leading and able to bring the new words and games home. Our son always comes home happy, and has enjoyed his day, has a lot to tell us. Gives us peace of mind that so well-loved there and making friends and growing.

Our eighteen month old has been attending the nursery for over eight months now and we are so glad that we chose this nursery for her. They always have great fun with imaginative crafts and activities and the staff are very friendly and approachable. Our daughter loves the food provided and it’s all home cooked and child friendly. Additionally, it’s also very easy to get in touch with management and they always respond quickly to any queries. We really think that the nursery and it’s lovely staff have helped our daughter develop and grow in confidence.

Singleton nursery is a great place, and they have worked so hard to keep our little ones safe in these times. Big credit to all the staff for their hard work; thank you.

A little feedback is to have more information/pictures and names of the staff in each room. It’s fine if the staff move around from time to time, but it’s nice to be able to talk to our little ones using the names of the adults that have been looking after them. The last piece of feedback is it’s great to see on the app what they have been up to for the day, it must be hard work for the staff to keep updating this, but it means a lot to the parents, and again, it’s lovely to be about to talk to our little one about their day.
