Singleton Day Nursery

My son's unique quirks were noticed and celebrated, a hard thing to do when you have a room full of children to manage. They really seem to all enjoy working with the kids and forming friendships.

The nursery is brilliant. All the staff are really friendly and helpful. The photos and daily updates are great. The variety of food and play is great for learning and we've seen a difference at home - in particular in using cutlery. We would recommend the nursery.

It has been a true pleasure over the years to see my children arrive with a smile and leave with a smile. Friendly and kind staff, secured and safe premises for the children, in and outdoor activities with park views. A winning environment and location. Thank you!

Have been very happy with Singleton Nursery so far. Staff are always pleasant and our child seems happy in their company and now looks forward to going in. Our child's key worker in particular has been superb. Get regular updates on the app which is also great.

The facility is clean and tidy with a wide variety of toys, games and books. When comparing prices when we first arrived, it's priced slightly higher than others but for the value of the money, you and your child get so much from it. Nursery provides a variety of nutritional meals and they have themed meals to celebrate holidays/culture. They have a lovely space outdoors with a mix of activities and toys and when dry they venture into the local park.

The staff are so friendly. Go out of their way to do things for my daughter and I love how well they know every child even ones that aren't in their class. There is a wide range of activities available and the food is delicious! The only thing that needs to be looked at is the buzzer system to drop off and pick up. The wait for an answer sometimes is very long.

My daughter absolutely loves coming to nursery! The staff work incredibly hard and build such wonderful relationships with the children. They take time to get to know them and foster a brilliant learning environment. The app is used well to inform myself and my husband of what achievements our daughter has made and to update us with events and information.

My daughter has been attending for nearly two years and we have nothing but great things to say about the place. Our daughter loves going every day and doing the varied activities and really does love all staff members and other children.

My son has been attending since 2021 and has progressed through each stage/room. He loves going to nursery and learns so much. He brings learning and positive routines home, plus shares his experiences with the caring staff. He also loves the food and eats so well whilst at nursery which stands him in good stead with his nutrition skills for life. Thank you.

Our elder still attends in school holidays and our younger has thrived as he's gone through Under 2s, Toddlers, and now Pre-school. We've been especially impressed with the amount of outside space and time spent playing there and the high quality of equipment and learning experiences they've both had. The staff are brilliant; give them a raise!

We have had a really positive experience at Singleton Day Nursery. Our 14-month-old really enjoys it there. There are lots of different activities, the staff are very caring and friendly and great communication. I love that they sing regularly together as my daughter loves music and in Welsh sometimes. The meals are varied and healthy and they promote independence by giving her her own spoon. Thank you all, we really appreciate it.

Wonderful nursery! The staff are amazing and have helped our daughter settle in so easily. They have been brilliant, educational activities set up for the children to take part in daily. Extremely happy with the nursery and staff. My little girl (3.5 years of age- preschool) loves going and has always talked about what they've done and the staff, so no complaints! Queries on the whole have been resolved and quickly. The odd occasion has needed to be chased due to using the app rather than calling. Have not always agreed with some terms of meal choices. I have felt can be Veggie/Vegan heavy to cater for those diets.

This nursery has been useful in facilitating my transition back to work and gently easing my baby into the nursery experience. My baby wasn't so sure about nursery at the start but with time she now thoroughly enjoys attending. She loves bringing cuddly toys to show her friends and favourite members of staff. I like the way I can see what my baby is up to with an app e.g. food eaten, photos of activities and even bowel motions. The only aspect we struggled with is frequent minor illnesses but this is an inevitable part of nursery and seems to be slowly improving with time. Overall I would recommend this nursery, particularly to parents who work long hours.

I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nursery. I feel very lucky to have found such a wonderful and happy environment for my son.

Great setting. The girls are all lovely! My son's smile on collection is enough. We love all the activities and the structure of the nursery. Diet and sleep were a big factor for us. Food can be adapted. Sleep there was no set structure at first, which allowed us to let the team know when we wanted our son put down this worked perfectly. The manager is really helpful and goes over and above to make sure you are happy and will do what she can to accommodate and help you with any queries that she can within her remit, likewise with the rest of the staff. I would recommend this setting.

I’ve marked five stars for lots of things in this review, but actually, I have no idea how clean it is or what resources or activities and toys there are.

Overall good experience. Feel safe and secure by leaving my child there. The nursery is near my home. So commuting is short. Love the app. Got regular updates about their meals and sleep. Helps make them disciplined and confident.
