My daughter absolutely loves going to nursery. Even on weekends she wants to go! She talks very highly of the staff there and always comes back happy. I love the regular photo updates throughout the day. My daughter has been to 2 nurseries prior to this due to house moves and she has been most settled in this one and it has definitely been the most informative about what she has got up to and eaten that day which I really appreciate.
This nursery is absolutely wonderful! They have developed my daughter's skills no end. I love that they have specific age groups that the children are placed in but also combine the children for activities such as mealtimes. This nursery is absolutely wonderful! They have developed my daughter's skills no end. I love that they have specific age groups that the children are placed in but also combine the children for activities such as mealtimes. This has also my daughter to develop the skills specific to her age group but also has improved skills such as cutlery use and sitting well for meal times. The nursery have been very accommodating when we've needed support around sleep needs. They are extremely supportive and flexible. My only negative comment would be that sometimes they don't update the app (although this isn't a regular comment). They send lovely photos and a big shout out to one staff member in particular who always gives big updates on our daughter's day and has shared specific skill information on the app too! The whole team are friendly and fantastic with my daughter and you can tell they take the time to build a bond with her whether they're assigned to her group or not!

My son has been attending Selca (Llanharan and Bridgend Road) for 2 years now. He loves it. We've never had any problems and the staff have always been lovely and very helpful. 2nd child will also be attending Selca. I would defiantley recommend.

My child has been going since October 2024 and has thrived since going. The staff are all extremely friendly and attentive to my child. I have wonderful updates every time he goes and my mind is put at ease. I couldn't recommend this nursery enough

Having previously used another local nursery for my first child, I can honestly say the service is worlds apart from Selca. They keep you updated and informed throughout the day with regular pictures of the activities taking place. The communication is incredible including from management. Fantastic value for money, which in today's world is exactly what you want. I really really cannot thank the staff at Selca for the level of care they provide for my child. Hello, I am Millie and I am the Nursery Manager at Selca Day Nursery – Llanharan. I lead a fantastic team at Llanharan, in which we provide and offer a home-from-home environment for all children in our care.
I am a passionate Manager and thrive to support my team with their development and the quality care they provide for the children. I joined Selca in 2018 as a Nursery Apprentice where I have since completed my Level 2 and my Level 3 in childcare. I have worked in several roles within my setting. Firstly the Baby Room Leader to many children who are now thriving in big school, I have overseen the wider setting working as a Team Leader and now, the Nursery Manager. I have since completed my Level 3 in Play Work and am currently undergoing my Level 4 in Leadership and Management.
I am proud of the exciting and safe environment we create for the children and am passionate about leading and supporting my team to provide the best development and childcare for our children.
