My daughter started with Selca Day nursery Llanharan in June and has settled in so well. She was a little teary for the first few weeks, but quickly adjusted and now gets excited to go. It's lovely to see the rapport the staff have built with her, especially when she sees them at the door and happily goes off with them. The staff are brilliant at communicating and always keep me updated through the app. They've also been really supportive with my daughter's milk intolerance and have followed my lead throughout, which I really appreciate.
I've already noticed such a positive difference in my daughter's development and all the new things she's learning since starting nursery. Thank you to all the staff - you're doing an amazing job!

Our little one loves it here, and barely waves goodbye he's so excited to get through the door. We watch the updates on his day through the numerous pictures posted privately to us on the app, where we can message staff, book ad-hoc days and generally handle all things nursery.
The amount of activities they do to keep a little one busy during the day is amazing, and something we couldn't replicate at home.
Overall its very good and FInn seems to really enjoy himself. The staff are always friendly and lovely with the children.
My only criticism is that clothes are constantly being lost and i have to chase it up constantly to get them back. A better system needs to be in place to improve this as it is...

My only criticism is that clothes are constantly being lost and i have to chase it up constantly to get them back. A better system needs to be in place to improve this as it is a recurring problem with other parents too. Communication is also quite slow too. I sent a mesaage a while ago about potentially dropping the morning session and i still havent had a response.

He's struggled with bugs and colds since starting but they have been great at keeping me in the loop about his progress and keeping him comfortable when struggling even with adapting to nursery life. They are very child centred and very caring. Excellent food choices and adapted to the child's needs. I really appreciate the pictures they send and it's very heart warming to see your little one engaging and looking very happy.

Overall I cannot fault this nursery. My little one absolutely LOVES going there and comes home telling us all about her friends. If we have any issues they are dealt with in a very timely manner and it is usually just a miscommunication between rooms and staff which is easily resolved.

My child started Selca at 13 month, very secure in her routine at home. I was super anxious about her starting, eating the food their and most of all her sleep. My daughter she settled so well in the 6 weeks she has been there and the staff are brilliant. They post things she has done in the day and update me on her meals and sleep as soon as they can. There have been times where she hasn't enjoyed the food served but they never let her go hungry.
We used to have tears at drop off but today she went in for a hug with a staff member. My daughter loves it there. I'm so glad I chose Selca.

My two toddlers attend Selca and both of them absolutely love it. The staff have been amazing at supporting my eldest with potty training and helping my youngest gain confidence as she was nervous of new environments and new people. Selca provide regular updates which puts my mind at ease throughout the day. My children both absolutely love going to nursery which has made my transition back into work after Mat leave an easy experience and I would recommend Selca to everyone!

Cannot fault the love, care and dedication of this team over the last few weeks. From staff working tirelessly to keep children comfortable in the recent heatwave, managing changes to my child's needs and always answering the door with a smile. Its truly a magical place!

We are very happy with the care and service they provide. The staff have played a huge part in my son's development, and we really appreciate the regular updates throughout the day. They are always honest about how he has been, whether he has had a great day or found something challenging, which we value. They are also very flexible when we need to swap days because of holidays and are always happy to answer any questions we have. One thing that stands out is how much they have helped teach Kaito important life skills. They have been instrumental in teaching him to be kind, share with others, listen, take turns and develop good manners. It's lovely to see these skills growing every day. I also love that my son comes home singing new songs and excited to show us what he has learned at nursery. It's wonderful to see how much he enjoys learning and how happy he is to attend each day.
We are incredibly grateful to all the staff for their care, support and dedication.

My daughter has been attending SELCA for nearly 4 months, as a first time mum of a very clingy, not overly confident child who'd never been left with anyone before for longer than an hour, I was extremely nervous about putting her in nursery. The staff have been absolutely brilliant with her, they gave her the support and care she needed to feel safe and comfortable until she fully settled in, sending pictures and app updates through the day so we as nervous parents could see how she was doing. She absolutely loves going to nursery and has come such a long way in her confidence and development since starting. A lot of thought and effort clearly goes into the daily activities and celebrating certain events the staff plan for the children.
