Playland Day Nursery

My son came here at just 8 months old and as a new mum who was extremely anxious to leave him, I was made to feel comfortable and confident straight away. My son is now nearly 2 and absolutely loves it here as well as all the staff. He has grown so much in confidence and is such a character. The best decision we’ve made was sending him here after looking at many other nurseries. Thank you!

Such a caring, friendly and welcoming place for your child to spend time in. The staff are amazing and my child is always coming home full of exciting stories about his day. I would highly recommend this nursery. Amazing!

What can I say? Fantastic facilities, fantastic staff and they all really cared for my son and seemed genuinely sad to see him leave. I honestly believe they were a big part of making my son the young boy he is today, spending 2 days a week for 2.5 years under the care of this amazing team. I never once felt the level of care and support was less than I would have expected. I have already booked our daughter to start at the end of August and can't wait to see her develop and grow.

My second daughter has been at Playland for 4 months and loves it there. We chose to send her because our first child had such a good experience there. From the first day, she has been happy to go into nursery and has settled in very quickly (especially for a lockdown baby!). The staff are all friendly and professional and my daughter is well cared for. The food must be good as my daughter eats it all and the activities are fun and varied. I highly recommend Playland nursery.

We are thrilled with our decision to send our little boy to Playland. Being a lockdown baby, we were very anxious about sending him to nursery as he'd never been away from us. All of the staff have worked so hard to welcome our son and make him feel safe and secure. They have been excellent in all areas and we're so grateful for all they have done to give our little boy such a smooth transition into nursery. Love the little diary full of information about what the children have been up to and also love the photographs shared in the parent group each day. A fabulous nursery!

I was very anxious leaving my little girl as she is my first little child. I was very emotional and the staff were great with me and still are. It has and still is hard to leave my little girl to go to work. My little girl enjoys playing here with her new friends. She has come out a lot with her confidence towards other people as she was a lockdown baby. She has learnt a lot in a short space of time and has formed appropriate bonds. The staff go above and beyond to make sure my daughter has a good day and anything I have questions with. Probably the biggest and best place you could send your child to as it has the best range of toys for learning and lots of areas to play in. What more could you ask for?

I am so delighted to have chosen this nursery for my son, I was worried at the beginning but he settled in so well. The staff are lovely with the kids and I am happy with the support he receives. Thanks to all the staff, I will definitely recommend the nursery to others.

I have had my first and now my second child pass through Playland Day Nursery. I must say while we were looking for a suitable nursery for our first son, Playland Day Nursery was one of the first and once I got there for the first time I have never felt so eased as I felt. They have very friendly staff, a great environment for children and it is easily accessible to us. I would recommend Playland Day Nursery any day, any time to family and friends.

My son has been going to Playland Day Nursery since he was nine months old, he loves it there. He's always very happy when I drop him off and pick him up. He has made friends and developed confidence. The staff are very friendly, caring and supportive. The daily diary and Facebook photos are a fantastic way to see what he's been up to. I would and have recommended this nursery.

This is an excellent nursery, my son absolutely loves coming to nursery and tells me about his day all the time. Nothing is too much trouble and communication is the best. The staff all work extremely hard to keep the children happy and safe and are a great team.

My daughter started this nursery in March! She was a bit sceptical at first with it being the first time going to nursery. But the staff were lovely, kind and so helpful and they made her feel at ease, she absolutely loves going to nursery now. This is the best nursery by far in my eyes, fantastic staff and very clean and tidy place. A big thank you to you all!

My son and I highly rate Playland Day Nursery. He loves going to nursery and that’s thanks to the lovely staff. They provide everything you need and more. I honestly couldn’t fault them on anything. My eldest daughter also attended Playland Day Nursery and I would highly recommend them to anyone. My son and I will miss them when he moves to big school in September.

First time Dad, I was anxious about placing my son into a nursery/playgroup but I heard Playland Day Nursery was a good place for my son to make friends and help with his development. I am very happy I chose Playland as my son has come on leaps and bounds in just his first month with them. My son has been going to Playland Day Nursery since he was a little over three months old, he’s now thriving at the age of nineteen months. To say I’m pleased with the nursery and his progress since going would be an understatement. Each and every member of staff in Playland Day Nursery are kind, caring and treat the children as their own! It has such a homely feel with all the learning and fun My son absolutely loves it and I couldn’t imagine him going anywhere else!

The staff at Playland Day Nursery are friendly, supportive and helpful. The communication from nursery to home has always been great and staff always have time for us. My daughter loves to attend and always comes out with a smile on her face. The staff have built a lovely relationship with her and the nursery have done wonders for her confidence and independence. During the pandemic, they have been really flexible with her hours due to my ever changing work hours and they’ve helped us out so much in such stressful circumstances. They’ve also got Covid-19 safety measures in place that make me feel reassured, knowing our daughter is safe and cared for. I can’t think of a single negative point!

Both of my daughters have attended Playland and loved it. My second daughter will be leaving to start school this year and I'm dreading it already. She's so happy and comfortable with everyone at this nursery and her social skills have blossomed here. The children's days are varied with fun, imaginative and educational activities. I drop my daughter off in the mornings knowing she will be cared for as well as she would at home. The professionalism of the staff is sector leading and they go above and beyond to ensure all the children are nurtured and happy. I can't rate this nursery highly enough and I'm so pleased my girls have had the pleasure of coming here for the last 5 years.

I was so worried about sending my little boy to nursery but that soon changed, the staff at Playland are so lovely and my son goes in and comes out very happy. I can already see him coming on a lot more since going and I am so thankful!

Playland is an amazing nursery. My daughter has been very happy here since the day she started nearly three years ago. It is a lovely environment, and we enjoy seeing the photos each day to see how she has been entertained with a wide variety of toys and learning activities throughout the day. I have found the staff very caring and are always friendly and approachable when dropping and collecting my child. My daughter never stops talking about how she loves the staff and her friends! I cannot thank them enough for the care they have given especially through the last year when it’s been tougher than ever. You all deserve medals!

I'm honestly so glad I picked this nursery! My son only goes once a week but he loves it here, the staff are amazing and so friendly I love seeing what my son has been up to as well with the pictures they share. His speech is coming along very well he knows his shapes and counting and there's so much for them to do as well, just wish I could go.
