Playland Day Nursery

My son goes there since 2017. They are keeping the same high standard since then. For me what is most important is the fact that he loves this place and people working there. The staff there is incredible: creative, funny, caring. Great job!

My little girl has been at Playland for a year now, I was so nervous about moving her from her old nursery but my nerves were soon put at ease within just a few weeks. She had learnt some welsh, more than I thought she would, her counting had improved, she had developed so much in such a short space of time I was very surprised. The nursery go above and beyond for her and I could not recommend the nursery enough, my little girl absolutely loves it there and I'm very glad I made the decision to move her there. The staff are wonderful very grateful for all that they do.

A happy place for my daughter. Lovely, caring staff who have taken the time to understand her and support her. Great communication, so I always know what she’s been up to. I would definitely recommend it.

He started at Playland in the middle of lockdown, and only able to have a few settling in days. You could see that even though he only had a few days to get used to being at nursery, that he was really happy with everything. Since then, we have seen him develop in so many areas, and this is due to the amazing staff and surroundings here.

My nephews both went here also and also most of my friend's children, and all feel the same as what we do.

Our son started at Playland at 8 months old. He settled in immediately, and has come home happy and worn out from learning ever since. Great communication between parent and nursery at all times.

A great nursery that has really helped develop my daughter and gives a high standard of care to her. Having used a different nursery for my son this far exceeded that experience after it was taken over by new owners. Playland is great at giving me an insight into my daughter's day and I would highly recommend.

I have to say, I am very happy with the care and attention my children have received since joining the nursery. The staff genuinely care about them and show commitment and time for each individual child. It's very reassuring as a parent to see your children happy in their childcare. They offer a variety of activities and provide daily feedback on the children to each parent upon collection. Their care and learning is all addressed to a high standard and most importantly the children have fun. I find all staff very friendly and knowledgeable.

The staff are very friendly, approachable and efficient. The nursery has a friendly atmosphere which makes you feel at ease leaving my child there. My child was always happy there and learnt many skills to help her to go forward in her next steps.

Playland is an excellent nursery. My son has been very happy here for the past two and a half years. It is a lovely environment, where they keep the children in their care constantly entertained with a wide variety of toys and activities. I have found the staff very caring and are always very friendly and approachable when dropping/collecting my child. I cannot thank them enough for the care they have given.

I love this nursery. I recommend them to anyone who is looking for a childcare setting. The staff are fantastic and my son has great things to say about all of them. My boy has gained a lot from his nursery experience. He’s a very sociable child, has a lot to say for himself and loves all his friends. Very sad to see him leave this place but my youngest will be taking his place in a couple of weeks.

Playland is a lovely nursery. My daughter always enjoys her day spent there. The nursery has always been accommodating when I've needed to swap days and I've always found the staff friendly and caring.

Excellent nursery, friendly staff. Always doing and learning new things. Good communication in regards to activities and very flexible with shift patterns.

Very pleasant and helpful from the start, and I feel they have done everything possible to accommodate the girl's needs, very nice, war people providing the best possible childcare for my children. Will miss going there. Thanks for everything.

My daughter attends two nurseries and Playland is hands down her favourite! The staff are kind and friendly and the nursery has a warm, homely environment. My daughter only attends Playland once a week but has settled in quickly, making friend easily and enjoying the routine. The reports we have had on her progress have been thorough and encouraging. The staff are flexible and happy to help is we need extra childcare at short notice. The rooms at the nursery are bright and colourful and full of equipment for the children to play with. We have had a wonderful experience with Playland and will be sad when our daughter leaves!

The staff have always been very approachable and willing to answer any queries I have had about anything and should I or anyone I know look for childcare in future I would certainly go back and recommend to others. We will be sad when she leaves in August.

I am very impressed with the staff at Playland, they are caring, patient and dedicated. They really get to know each child. My Daughter has had a great time playing, learning Welsh, learning numbers and getting creative and messy. Since attending January to July I have seen her mature and develop. I cannot recommend this nursery enough, they are doing a fantastic job and give the kids a great start in life before they attend school.

They cover all areas of learning and our little girl has come on in leaps and bounds over the last few years. I will definitely be recommending Playland to friends in the area.

Our daughter wasn't really confident at first before starting Playland in January but as she has been there, she has come out of her shell a lot, and she will really miss being there. She wasn't potty trained when she first attended but Playland really helped her in potty training and in a week she was wearing knickers all the time. Overall I can say Playland is the best nursery, our daughter loved the people who looked after her and she made loads of friends. It was so easy leaving her at Playland as I know she was safe and well looked after. There are loads of things to do and our daughter has really learnt a lot from going and is now ready for big school.
