Playland Day Nursery

My twins have been in this nursery since September! So only 4 months and the difference in them both is unbelievable, they have come on so well individually with their very own personalities and both have come on amazing with their speech! They walk in with no problems, sometimes I don’t even get a goodbye because they are so excited to get in there. Staff are all lovely and explain the day they have had when I pick them up. Highly recommend.

A lovely day nursery with friendly and helpful staff. Always a lovely handover at the end of the day so you know what your child's day has been like, along with photographs, updates, events and such. There are always plenty of variety in activities for the children to do to help them learn and grow. My daughter always goes in and comes out happy!

Our little one has flourished during his time at Playland Day Nursery with all the love, care and attention he has been shown. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff to ensure both the children they look after have the best time and the parent leaving them can head off to work knowing their little ones are in safe hands! Thank you very much Playland.

I have used Playland since 2020 and they have looked after my little two from 6 months old throughout their journey until starting school, even providing holiday wrap-around care and a variety of options to accommodate your needs and requirements. Every member of staff makes an amazing effort into enriching the children's lives throughout their time in nursery and ensure all children feel welcome, cared for and looked after. It is hard transitioning into leaving your precious bundles in the care of someone other than yourselves however receiving updates in diaries and pictures of their day in nursery (consent required) makes you feel like you have been a part of their day providing you a glimpse into their experiences. I could never pick a better nursery and would 100% recommend.

All the staff have been so friendly and caring from the first day and I wouldn't want her to go anywhere else. My daughter runs into Playland Day Nursery every morning and all the photos show how much fun they all have. Everyone that works there does an amazing job at caring for the children and I would recommend Playland to anyone.

I highly recommend Playland Day Nursery for childcare due to the fact that the quality, dedication and consideration given to my son over the last 2 years has been excellent and have gone above and beyond to educate my son and feel cared for, his cuddles with the staff are evident enough. Evidently, Playland’s dedication has been tremendous, as it's been revealed over time that my son has additional learning needs and the staff here have provided that additional care and staff needed for my son to succeed and flourish in his progress, this has certainly helped him gain the confidence and trust he needed to start Nursery School. I can't thank Playland enough for helping my son and us as a family.

My little boy has been going to Playland since January 2022, he’s always been very nervous around people due to being a covid baby, but after just a handful of sessions he settled in so well, the staff are all so lovely and helpful. He is currently attending their flying start sessions every morning which he absolutely loves and learns new things every day!

My son absolutely loves Playland Day Nursery and all the staff, he is excited in the mornings to go. He has settled in from day one. They are very flexible and very welcoming. I couldn’t imagine having him in another nursery.

Best nursery. My daughter had been to 2 nurseries and she absolutely loves it here! The staff couldn’t do any more to help! Very welcoming and such a lovely and warm environment. My daughter gets very excited every morning when we turn up to Playland Day Nursery. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a loving and caring nursery!

First of all the team are remarkable, they are attentive, caring and provide excellent provision for the children they look after. The facilities are well kept, with plenty of activities for the children to do. Both of my girls have attended Playland Day Nursery albeit the first was a number of years ago and my second currently thoroughly enjoys her time here; she is clearly comfortable and confident in this environment and often runs in and that is all thanks to the lovely team. Photos are wonderful to see each day to see all those happy, smiling and inquisitive faces, along with a daily update in the individual child’s book so as parents we can see what activities the children have undertaken, what and how much they have eaten (and their nappy activities which are equally as important!) Highly recommend this nursery, you won’t be disappointed!

I’ve always had so much anxiety about sending my children anywhere to be cared for by someone other than myself. But when my oldest started reception his younger brother was really missing him and I knew he needed interaction with kids his own age. We chose Playland Day Nursery out of convenience but honestly I feel like the universe put us exactly where we needed to be because I don’t think I could have found a better, more caring setting for our son. They truly care about these kids and look after them as if they were their own, from giving cuddles when they’re sad to checking their temperature when they seem a little off. They really pay attention to each child’s personality and demeanour and cater to them specifically; really allowing each child to flourish and grow.

I had a bad experience with a previous nursery and was worried about placing my son somewhere else but the staff were so welcoming from the start and really put my mind at ease, my son now goes 4 days a week and has an amazing day, I love hearing about all the fun things he has gotten up to not just from my son but the staff at hand over too. I receive great support too as a parent who has started potty training, the staff at Playland Day Nursery are so helpful to help reach the milestone with me. I highly recommend this nursery to any parent and love how informed I am with my child’s day and development.

All the staff at Playland Day Nursery are welcoming, caring and go above and beyond helping with anything. The facilities at the nursery are good and the outside space is vast. My little girl has thrived going here and I wouldn't send her anywhere else.

I was dreading having to go back to work and put my son in the nursery, but the staff made the transition so easy for us both. I had a lovely feeling about it when I first went for a look and a warm welcome from all the staff. My son loves it, and I feel really happy dropping him off in the mornings, knowing he's going to have a great full day of learning and playing. Seeing the photos each evening confirms how happy he is there. All the girls do a great job.

My son comes to Playland 2 days a week and absolutely loves it. He runs through the door with excitement. He absolutely loves all the staff. It's so lovely to see him so excited to go to nursery. The staff are absolutely great, friendly, caring, very welcoming and only a phone call away if you need anything. As a first-time mum, it can be hard picking the right nursery but I'm so glad I choose Playland. The care is amazing and I couldn't thank Playland enough for the support and care they provide to my son. My little boy has come on leaps and bounds since starting in Playland. I would definitely recommend Playland to anyone.

Fantastic atmosphere from the very moment you walk in. Very warm welcome! The staff are very dedicated to their job. My daughter settled in, in just a few days and she was only 16 months old when she started nursery. That was the best decision to make as a parent. My child is very well looked after and learning new things and activities every day, so I can focus on my work with full peace of mind. Many thanks, Playland!

My beautiful daughter started in Playland Day Nursery at 7 months old and she loves it so much. The staff are amazing and our parents at ease and nothing is too much trouble. My daughter is coming in so well and I know a lot of that is down to the care and attention of the staff. She is now 17 months old and has made a best friend. It has so much for them to do including outsourcing entertainment and Christmas photoshoots.

My daughter has been attending Playland Day Nursery for almost 12 months now and she absolutely loves it. She has learnt so much since coming to Playland and has made lots of friends. I like how the staff tell parents about what the children have been doing throughout the day and we can even see pictures on social media closed group. I’m so happy I chose this nursery for my daughter who used to be very shy and it really brought her out of her shell. Thanks everyone!
