The activities that they do with the children are so varied and creative and he regularly brings home paintings or drawings that he has done. We get regular updates on what he has eaten during the day, nappy changes and sleep times. Whenever I go to pick him up he is sad to leave.
Communication is excellent and you get a detailed update of what the children have been up to that day.

This is our second time around with Clever Clogs and we wouldn't have gone anywhere else. The whole nursery has such a warm lovely feeling from stepping through the doors. Staff are so patient and helpful not just with the children but with the parents too. They always go above and beyond. Everything is always well documented on the app so we are able to see how our little one gets on during the day. Nothing is ever too much for them and our little one loves going to nursery, she's come on leaps and bounds since starting. The food is fantastic for the children really hearty nutritional home cooked meals. The facilities the nursery have are also fantastic in and outdoors and no matter the weather the children can enjoy learning and playing in and outdoors, with lots of very well thought out activities to do, we are so happy we chose this nursery again!

Our little boy (10 months) started at the nursery in September. He was offered as much settling in time as necessary and the staff have made sure the transition has been really smooth. He loves going to nursery and is thriving since starting there. All staff are warm and friendly, and there's a lovely atmosphere inside the rooms. The communication from staff is brilliantly, we can tell they care about our little one from the warm welcome he always gets! We would recommend the nursery to all parents!

The progress she has made since joining has been amazing. Her confidence has grown so much, and her social skills have flourished. The activities are engaging and well thought out, and it's clear that the team put so much effort into making learning fun.
Communication with parents is excellent too - we're always kept up to date and feel very involved in her journey. It's reassuring to know she is cared for by such passionate and professional staff.

My second child to attend the nursery and I can't recommend enough. Staff have really supported my little one transition into their care. I always get a detailed report on pick up and the staff are always happy to answer any questions. Overall the facility is one of the best I have attended. I've looked around and my first child attended another nursery prior to transitioning and by far this nursery had a much more welcoming and supportive atmosphere. The facilities are great and there's daily activities that stretch the children's minds. You also get access to an app so you have direct contact with your child's key person and you get to see how they've eaten and napped etc.

My daughter has been going to Clever Clogs since January 2025 and has come on leaps and bounds since stating. She has become more confident, talkative, outgoing and is now walking. The staff are friendly, considerate and really do care about the children they work with. Any issues they check with us and the app is amazing for seeing what your child does during the day!

Absolutely fantastic. Staff are brilliant, made me and my daughter really at ease while she settled in. She now loves going to nursery. They're really flexible with dietary preferences etc, and seem to really care about the children's well being.

My little girl has been attending Clever clogs for the past 4 months. Although at first she struggled with leaving me, she is now settling much better. The staff are so loving and caring towards her and encourage her to get involved and she's come on leaps and bounds! Thank you clever clogs!

A very nice place for your Child's nursery, holiday and after school clubs. Very friendly staff and they treat everyone with respect. The food is nice. My son always looks forward to go and has made lots of friends. He has been there for more than 3years.

My son really loves Clever clogs. He always goes in happily and is completely comfortable with all the staff who have made him feel very welcome. He follows a meat free diet and there's never been any issues and he is always catered for. The activities always look fun and he loves to get involved. The staff always give us updates on his day but also his development. We are really happy leaving our child here with such a lovely group of people. Thank you x

My son has been attending Clever Clogs since January after we moved houses and we're very impressed with the professionalism of the staff and how much our little one has developed in the last couple of months. Staff are really caring, and our son has developed an excellent relationship with all of them. When I pick him up, they tell me about what he did during the day, and they provide a beautifully written report every month where they detail the progress that he has made. He engages in carefully planned activities and is provided with plenty of resources to develop himself and discover new experiences. It is very reassuring to see how much progress he has made in these six months.
Clever Clogs are also very strict in relation to safeguarding, which is very reassuring.
In summary, he loves them and they love him!

This is my 3rd grandchild at clever cloggs over 8 year period . Eldest grandson goes to holiday club and youngest granddaughter does 2 1/2 days a week and they love it . Staff vey welcoming and knowledgable and caring . Any problems that arise they are quick to help.

Amazing nursery that provide excellent care and support for my child. My child has developed so much since starting nursery last year. Their confidence has grown so much and to have watched how they have developed has been a joy. The food is always amazing and there is plenty of variety so my child gets to experience different foods and meals. The staff are always friendly and supportive, it always feels like one big family. My child is always very well cared for and loves going to nursery. The facilities are always clean and there is so much for my child to do. I love being able to see daily updates on the app and love seeing the pictures of my child during their day at nursery. Meet the Team (8)
Donna has over 9 years of experience in the early years when she began working as a practitioner with the company. Over the years she has developed from practitioner to manager with the ongoing help, guidance and support from an amazing staffing team and all our parents.
The children are always at the heart of everything we do. It's such a privilege to be a part of the children's starting journeys from the day they enrol with us, watching as they grow and develop along the way.
Lorraine is our office manager who started with us back in July 2024 and handles our administration. Lorraine has an AAT qualification and is currently working to update her L3 EYE qualification. Lorraine is looking forward to spending more time down in the rooms while she continues to get to know our children and families.
Catherine has worked for the company for ten years and really enjoys being a part of the children's learning and development. She has a natural affinity for working with children and this shows within her daily practice.
I have worked within the childcare industry for 11 years now, qualifying back in 2013, achieving my level three qualification. I have worked within many childcare settings and have worked my way up from being supply staff all the way up to being a room lead. Within my many years of working within the childcare industry I have worked with many different age ranges but working with 2-3-year-olds seems to be my favourite age to watch learn, develop and grow within their development. At the moment I am currently working towards gaining my level 5 qualification in leadership and management and I am looking forward to seeing what the future holds.
I have worked in childcare for over 10 years, originally starting with an apprenticeship in 2014. I have worked for Clever Clogs for 1 year and 9 months and enjoy my job role here. I enjoy seeing the babies grow develop and achieve their milestones. I believe having a great bond with the parents as well as the children greatly benefits the children and this is what I strive to do.
Kayleigh has been a part of the Clever Clogs family for over 15 years. She is experienced across all age groups and has also completed her level 3 SEND course.
Kayleigh is currently our senior in the Mini Adventurers room, where she creates the right environment to meet the ever-changing needs of the children.
Sam is a very energetic member of staff who has been with the Clever Clogs family since 2011.
Sam loves all things outdoors and is forever coming up with new and wonderful exploration ideas for the children both within our holiday and after-school clubs.
Nicole has been with us for almost two years, she started as a practitioner in our Clever Thinkers room and was recently promoted to Senior room leader in September. She has a Level Three in childcare and has been working with children for the last 10 years. She has a passion for teaching and providing children with the relevant life skills they need before they go to school. Nicole loves to provide loose parts play opportunities and implement child-led risk-taking.
