Busy Bees Day Nursery provides quality and inspirational learning for children up to eleven years old.

They provide a nurturing and caring environment where everyone feels welcome and valued in their own right. They have established an enviable reputation for delivering a high-quality childcare service and this is recognised by both parents and Ofsted.

The children are cared for in a stimulating environment where each child can reach their full potential. Children are actively encouraged to explore, learn, communicate and interact with one another.

Busy Bees is very proud of its staff who you will find are enthusiastic, dedicated and highly qualified and this is what makes the nursery so special.

There are extensive separate gardens where the babies and children can explore and feel safe, but most of all have fun.

There is an open door policy to ensure there is effective communication at all times between the nursery and parents/carers.

My son attended Busy Bees nursery, Durham from the age of 13 months he thrived at this nursery once he had settled in. He has moved through all of the rooms and we continue to use the breakfast club now he is in school. They take him to school for me the days I am at work which is a great help and comfort
knowing he gets to school safely. I can not fault the nursery, home cooked fresh meals prepared on site, excellent staff who cared for my son as if he were their own. Excellent outdoor area, where he was able to explore safely, unlimited learning opportunities and activities. Attending this nursery enabled my son to become the confident, happy little boy he is today and I would recommend it to anyone in need of childcare, as I have nothing but great things to say about the nursery, staff and management.

Our son was born 15 weeks premature, so leaving him within a nursery when he was so fragile and vulnerable was a huge decision, however from the day we looked around Busy Bees we knew it was the right one for us. The staff made this decision so easy and were reassuring from day one, even looking after
us as parents. The facilities along with the staff are outstanding and couldn't recommend Busy Bees more. The main selling point for us was the length of time staff had worked there and the different ages of staff it was mixed across all the rooms. This reassured us that staff had experience and our child was not going somewhere that had high staff turnover. He has thrived at nursery and has caught up developmentally hitting all of his developmental milestones with the help and support of nursery and home shared ideas. I must also mention the menu, the food is so varied and home cooked, the smell of the food cooking every day makes me wish we could stay for lunch.

Both my children 4yrs and 2yrs attend Busy Bees Nursery. They have excellent staff who engage, both with child/carer and parent, updating on progress and targets etc...
Both my children have settled, never cried for me when I've left and are excited to play with the range of activities and learning
that day.
The staff and management are friendly, approachable and compassionate towards parents and always supportive.
Outstanding in my opinion, well recommended.

Amazing nursery, very professional caring staff, can't fault it at all!! Feel very at ease leaving my children in the care of the staff here, they are always happy to come. Feedback at the end of the day is always very good. Would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone looking for child care!!

Busy Bees has been a fantastic nursery for my two children who both started when they were 9 months old up until they left to start school. I found them to be very flexible if I needed to swap days around or needed to book an extra session at the last minute. The caring staff helped to settle them if
they got upset when I dropped them off and I was able to telephone at any point to see how they were. They have a great menu and the smell from the kitchen on a morning was delicious! The outdoor area was a favourite of mine with lots of equipment for the children to use. Overall I always felt like I was leaving my children in safe hands and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
