Teesdale Childrens Day Nursery are very proud to have an 'Outstanding' Ofsted report from January 2017.

The staff team are focused on providing quality childcare and education for the children who attend their setting. Their aim is to give every child the best possible start in life.

The nursery staff use tapestry, an online learning journey to keep parents informed about their child's progress in nursery and parents have access as well so they can see how their children are developing.

The nursery is part of Nunthorpe Nurseries Group and they have an excellent reputation in the North East

Amazing nursery that caters to every child's needs. Amazing staff that work with you and your child to develop. My daughter has been coming here since being 4 months old. Always flexible with my work commitments. Would definitely recommend and trust them wholeheartedly with my little one.

The nursery and its staff go above and beyond the expectations of a business such as this. I've never felt an ounce of concern or worry when my son is in their care and appreciate the lengths the team will go to support him. They are especially brilliant with supporting SEN children and have really
helped me over the years with both signposting and support on access to elements such as DLA and help available for parents with SEN children. The staff are lovely, caring, and incredibly supportive, it's great to see my son develop under their stewardship. I'm grateful for all they have done to help him develop when at times we weren't sure of his strengths.

My little ones loves going to this nursery, started middle of 2023 and fitted in well. staff always go above and beyond and they are all very polite and friendly and especially caring. The communication is great and they are very helpful. I would highly recommend this nursery

Both of my children attend Teesdale Nursery. They both have absolutely loved it from day one. My eldest now goes to school during term time and she looks forward to going to Teesdale in the school holidays. The nursery is really flexible and the staff are very caring. My children are very happy there
and I would recommend it to anyone.

I couldn’t be happier with the choice of nursery for my son. The staff always have time for you and have made me feel so comfortable in leaving my son in their care. It is clear the positive impact the nursery is having on my son’s development and I look forward to picking him up and seeing how he’s
enjoyed himself. He always seems to be doing different activities and eating different foods.
It is clear the staff care about what they do and are fantastic at their jobs.

Teesdale Nursery has always been fab with my little boy. He’s had a couple of medical things going on along the way and they’ve been perfect managing these and helping us as parents at nursery. My little boy always has the best time at Teesdale and the staff are gorgeous.

My daughter has just left Teesdale Nursery after two years. In that time, she has gone from an incredibly shy two-year-old to a confident four-year-old ready to start school.
The nursery was great with her, helping her to gain confidence and learn to interact with other children after the Covid lockdowns.
She loved going to nursery.
They were also excellent from a parent‘s point of view. All staff and management were approachable and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble.

A wonderful and nurturing setting for babies and children. I am very pleased with the staff and management. A very fun and supportive space. I have seen so much development in my child thanks to Teesdale. We were always told what was eaten, sometimes told what activities they had been up to. Outdoor
space is great for them to explore.

I have not had a single issue with this nursery in the entire time my son has been here. They’ve been very kind and courteous. Fantastic nursery! My little girl is reaching the end of her time at nursery now and I cannot fault the manager and the team. Always been on hand to answer any questions and have really helped my daughter come on leaps and bounds. I would have no problem in recommending Teesdale Childrens Day Nursery

Hello, I'm Michelle.
I have a level 4 in Early years childhood studies and have worked in childcare for 22 years here at Teesdale Children's Day Nursery. I started out as an Early year's educator, working my way up to deputy manager and I'm now proud to be manager. I take pride in having very good organisational skills and use them when managing the nursery, staff, and children. I love to meet new families, welcoming them into our setting and ensuring that they feel comfortable. We work as a team to ensure all rooms provide fun, stimulating, and safe environments. I believe having a strong team helps children achieve their individual learning goals by working together and working alongside parents and families collectively. I look forward to welcoming you to our nursery.
