Little Ladybirds Day Nursery is an Ofsted rated 'good' nursery (May 2023) situated in a purpose-built venue in Stockton, Teesside. Within the nursery, care is provided for children aged six weeks through to five-years-old.

The nursery is divided into four main rooms, all of which are designed to meet the requirements of the early years foundation stage. Within a very large pre-school room children have access to iPads, touch-screen computers and interactive whiteboards. Outside there is a large play area which utilises natural materials and includes a water wall and mud kitchen.

The staff team at Little Ladybirds includes an early years teacher and all staff are trained in paediatric first aid.

There are a number of extra-curricular activities provided at no extra charge at Little Ladybirds, including football, French and signing tots.

The nursery provides flexibility on days and two, three and four-year-old grant funding is available.

The nursery is fantastic but the staff are out of this world. I know when I leave my little boy here he's going to have lots of fun and have a cuddle whenever he needs it. He's settled in so well and that's a definite reflection on the team. Also, its amazing walking into a room full of babies at pick
up and they are all just super happy and playing together.

Outstanding Nursery, cannot fault any part my daughter settled in straightaway and loves her days there, credit to all the staff

We couldn't pick faults with little ladybirds if we tried. Little ladybirds was recommended to us by another parent and after having a look round and seeing our daughter go off to play straight away, we fell in love with the nursery, enrolled her straight away and our son 3 months later. My daughter
really struggled with some separation anxiety on drop off but everyone has been so lovely and patient with helping her settle and they have never once complained when I've rang up to check she's ok. We get updates and photos everyday including all nappy changes and what/how much they've eaten.
I can't recommend the nursery enough, it's such a lovely setting and the staff are all amazing at what they do. I was really nervous about leaving my eldest and I had so many silly questions, but staff answered them all with so much patience and made me feel really comfortable with our choice.

Fantastic nursery, staff are amazing always so helpful and happy to answer any questions any time I have any. I love the app they use as it keeps my mind at ease knowing I can be kept up to date with what my child eats, sleeps, nappy changes etc. Couldn't recommend the nursery enough!

My son joined the nursery at the end of 2024, going one morning per week. However, from January 2025 he began three mornings per week, and I cannot express how fantastic the staff at the nursery have been settling him in to the new routine.
The nursery as a whole are extremely supportive of the children,
as well as the parents. The provision of updates throughout my sons time there are very reassuring.
The staff show a genuine interest in you as a family, and both my fiancee and I are very pleased with every aspect. We feel very comfortable already leaving our son in their care.
Overall, I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone currently looking for a place. I only wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Couldn't ask for a better place. My little boy struggled with eating but the staff here helped so much which has also helped with me when at home. The change I have seen since he started doing three mornings is unbelievable and all down the great staff. We get up dates throughout and even a parents
evening to talk about progress and what to do next. If I could give more stars I would cos had it not been for staff here my little boy would still be behind. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone

We are so happy we chose little ladybirds for our little boy to attend when I went back to work. He is absolutely thriving and has come on so much since he started. The staff pay attention to his home routine and have always followed this. On drop offs and pick ups the staff are warm and welcoming,
and always give an update on how the days been. I love the app they use which keeps us updated in the days with things like food, drink, naps, and nappy changes as well as pictures and a write up of what he's been upto in the day, this really gives me peace of mind when I'm at work. I cannot recommend this nursery enough for little ones.

Little ladybirds have been great since our little girl started nursery in October. I started taking her for taster sessions for a few hours and working up to full days which was good for her to get used to going. The app is great as the staff always update you how your child's doing and what they are
eating throughout the day and they provide a great variety of healthy meals for children.
They always answer any questions you have throughout the day while your child's there which I think is great. The staff are really friendly and I feel my little girl is very safe with them looking after her. my little girl really enjoys going to nursery there , I would highly recommend little ladybirds as a nursery to parents.

My son absolutely loves going to Little Ladybirds Nursery. I can't praise the staff enough, they are amazing and so genuinely caring, my son adores them all. The staff regularly update you and are so responsive if you ever need to contact them throughout the day. I couldn't recommend this nursery enough
and wouldn't want my baby going anywhere else. Thanks Little Ladybirds for being the best!

The staff at little ladybirds have made the transition to my little one starting nursery the most supportive and positive experience it could possibly be. They are willing to accommodate for the individual needs of each child who starts and go above and beyond in terms of ensuring they are building
trusting relationships with the babies. Nothing is too much trouble.

Our daughter has been attending little ladybirds for around 6 months and the staff have been nothing but kind and welcoming ensuring she settles in. She always comes home in the best mood telling me about her day and is starting to make some lovely friends. She loves playing outside and playing football
with coach.
All the staff are very friendly and stay in regular contact throughout the day including pictures. They have been very supportive as we have been potty training ensuring this can carry on through her days at nursery. Would definitely recommend the nursery to others.

Little Ladybirds have been brilliant since our little girl started nursery in January - staff did so much to put both her and us at ease during the transition. She had taster sessions and we were please by their open door approach for parents.


We get daily updates, and all her activity (including

changes and food eaten) are recorded to give us peace of mind. She's settled in beautifully and now can't wait to go to nursery on a morning and we've already noticed how much she's developing, particularly with her communication skills.


Office staff are super helpful navigating nursery funding etc and the spaces are so well thought out.


Would 100% recommend Little Ladybirds to any parent!

Firstly the staff are absolutely fantastic. There is always a warm welcome at the door and I think the staff are a testament to how quickly our child settled in. The reports we get when attending nursery make my day to be honest and it's really nice seeing what they are getting up to. The app is also
extremely helpful to know what's being eaten etc. I also feel like our child's speech has come on a lot from the interaction at the nursery too. Overall it has been a very positive experience for me personally in what is quite a daunting process of leaving your child. The staff are so helpful even down to helping setting up payments and just taking the stress out of everything. I would highly recommend this nursery to people.

A fantastic nursery with fantastic staff. Our daughter left in December 2024 to start with school nursery. After 2 years of attendance she has loved the nursery and made lots of friends. Our son has been attending Little Ladybirds Nursery for nearly a year now and has really flourished under their care. Initially nervous about being left without mam and dad, he now doesn't look back when we drop him off. He is currently in the Small Discovers room and the team in there are fantastic
with him. His confidence and personality have really developed, and his eating has also massively improved. I cannot recommend the nursery highly enough - it has been lovely for us as parents to watch our son grow and I know he's getting the very best start in his journey towards pre-school.

We have had the most amazing experience at Little Ladybirds. Our daughter has been at the nursery for over 2 years now and has spent time in every room, from babies through to preschool. She loves going, has made so many friends, and has such a great relationship with all the amazing staff. The staff
have always been more than happy to accommodate our/our daughter's needs and offered support and gone above and beyond to ensure our daughter's needs come first. The range of activities provided for the children is amazing, something different every day and we love how they are encouraged to spend time outside whenever possible. Our daughter is due to leave in a few weeks and I will be so sad when she does. We will all miss the amazing team that has looked after her so well these past few years. Would highly, recommend Little Ladybirds.

Our daughter has been in Little Ladybirds for a little over 7 months so far and she has thrived. The staff is always welcoming and professional and at hand to help with any questions and relay information and daily updates constantly. This is the perfect place for our daughter to be before she starts
her full-time school journey. She's learning her key life skills and to be around other children and be comfortable being away from us when we work.
Could not recommend Little Ladybirds enough.

My daughter has been attending Little Ladybirds since December. We are delighted with our experience so far! All of the staff are friendly, warm and welcoming. They have taken a genuine interest in our daughter’s development, sharing daily photos of her time there and engaging with news we share from
home. There is always a wide range of learning opportunities - our daughter comes home with new skills every week!
