Kids 1st Wynyard

Having previously sent my older daughter here six years ago we didn't hesitate to place our youngest here when the time arose. She started in January age fifteen months, due to having lockdown controlling most of her social contact we anticipated a difficult settling in period. A few tears on initial few drop offs, which soon stopped thanks to the care and attention she received from the staff. The staff have been amazing in making this transition easy for our daughter and ourselves, she gets so excited to go in as soon as we pull into the car park. The app is brilliant too for communication so we can see pictures of her, nappy changes and the wide range of food she has eaten. I would recommend this nursery to any of my friends and family, thanks to the peace of mind that you get knowing your child is been well looked after.

Our daughter has attended since she was a baby, she is happy at the nursery and thoroughly enjoys her time there! She has made some lovely friends and the staff go above and beyond for her. Thank you to all the girls who have cared for her, we will be sad to see her leave to go to school.

I couldn't recommend Kids 1st Wynyard enough! My daughter has been attending Kids 1st Wynyard since she was eleven months old. She initially struggled to settle but the girls did everything they could to help her and even offered additional settling in sessions which really helped. She is now almost two and a half years old and attends four days a week and absolutely loves it! She is excited to walk in on a morning and leaves with a beaming smile each night. I was nervous about sending her to nursery due to a cows milk allergy but Kids 1st Wynyard have accommodated her requirements fantastically. The girls are all warm, caring, friendly and very welcoming to both children and parents. Thanks Kids 1st Wynyard.

My son really looks forward to spending time at Kids 1st Wynyard. He loves the activities, has bonded with the staff who really nurture and encourage his development. Add in good safety factors, the fact that the quality and variety of food is excellent, there is a high standard of cleanliness. The play areas offer enough intrigue and excitement to keep children interested and the staff there really look like they are having as much fun as the children that you realise you have put your child in the best possible environment. Watching our boy not just grow but actually bloom. We could not be happier. Highly recommended.

I could not recommend Kids 1st Wynyard more. They have cared for my daughter for four years, with my second daughter about to start. They make you feel at ease and you genuinely feel like they care for your child like you do. My daughter skips into nursery everyday and now is completely prepared to start school. She constantly impressed me with the range of activities and education she has received through teach day. It will be a really sad day when she has to leave Kids 1st Wynyard and I feel lucky to have another child to start her journey with the nursery. The support the staff have offered me over the years has been invaluable.

Kids 1st Wynyard has provided an excellent day care experience for my seven month old and it provides a welcoming, professional environment where my daughter will thrive. Excellent communication daily from the staff to me as a parent, regarding development and milestones.The facilities are outstanding with lots of rooms for age and development as well as outdoor play spaces. The staff are very friendly and have helped my daughter adjust to nursery. There is a wide choice of cooked meals offered daily. I would highly recommend this nursery.

The staff and facilities at Kids 1st Wynyard are great. Our son has attended for almost two years now and we have only good words to say. The food choices are healthy and really varied, which means he often eats things we might not have tried at home. Each morning he runs straight in without looking back. He talks about his nursery workers at home and always with a smile. Our daughter, who is only a few months old, will join him at the end of the year and I am confident that she will have also have a great experience.

My seventeen month old son loves Kids 1st Wynyard and all the staff there. After a bumpy settling in period during the first lockdown, he settled in after only a few sessions and the team were brilliant with him and us, in making him feel confident and safe. We get regular updates and pictures throughout the day on the app, which brighten my day. A huge thank you to all the fantastic staff at Kids 1st Wynyard who help make my son such a happy little boy and make the working Mam guilt far less, with me knowing he’s so happy with them and in brilliant hands.

Our little boy started here when he was ten months and had been stuck in throughout lockdown. I was apprehensive, however needn’t have worried. From day one he loved his misery and his teachers, especially one in particular. He never cries when we drop him off but cries when he has to come home! He has come on so well with walking and now trying to talk and he mixes with adults and children which is lovely. A fantastic nursery which always feels welcoming and safe.

My daughter has attended Kids 1st since she was 9 months old. She has absolutely loved her time with you all. The girls are amazing with her and she has met some lovely friends. Everyone is very welcoming and we will be so sad to see her go to nursery school this year. Kids 1st has given her the best start in life.

I am so thankful for all the help from the staff and I regularly think how happy I am that I chose this nursery.

My daughter absolutely loves going to nursery and has a great bond with her key worker and other staff! Always has a smile on her face pulling up at the nursery and it’s so nice to know she’s happy and safe when I’m at work! Both of my children have been to Kids 1st Wynyard, my seven-year-old when he was a baby and now my eight-month-old goes. They do so many amazing activities and both kids love it, I feel happy leaving my children when I know they are both there. The staff are excellent and do anything to help. I would recommend to any parent if you wanted to feel happy leaving your children.

Both of my children love going to Kids First. My eldest loves his friends and key worker, and I’m so happy he still gets to have that social interaction during Covid. They do so many exciting activities and he learns so much too - I’m amazed some of the things he talks about at home. I was worried my youngest wouldn’t settle into nursery as due to Covid she’d never been apart from me. However, she absolutely loves going and gets so excited when we pull up in the car. I feel the staff know both of my children well; they’re not just a number.

The team at Kids 1st are amazing! My daughter started nursery from the 1st October at just under 6 months old, I was really nervous about leaving her there not knowing how she would be with new people when she has had very little social contact in her life so far, but she absolutely loves it! She’s always happy when she comes home from nursery which is lovely to see as a parent.

I would definitely recommend this nursery, our daughter absolutely loves going to nursery she smiles as soon as she recognises the sign! And her development has come on leaps and bounds in just a month of attending. The staff are lovely and really helpful. The nursery itself is a fantastic, very stimulating environment for little ones to play and learn!

Kids 1st Wynyard is a lovely nursery! The staff are very professional and friendly towards both children and parents! My eldest used to attend and now little boy (now 3 years) has been coming since January 2019! And since coming back in September 2020 after been off during lockdown he absolutely loves coming to nursery, always talks about going and what he’s been up to while there. Couldn’t ask for a nicer nursery to look after my children.

Great nursery, my little girl loves it and we get a detailed report on what she’s been up to each day. She has done so many new activities and has settled in really well. The staff are very friendly and professional and you can see they genuinely care for the children. They also try to stick to the routines parents already have in place which is really helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

A brilliant nursery with a great emphasis on both the child and, even during Covid, instilling a family atmosphere and supporting the parents. The key-workers are excellent and we can't recommend this nursery highly enough. Regular contact. Daily sheets as to what's been happening that day and brilliant staff. So pleased our little lad is with Kids 1st Wynyard.
