Kids 1st Wynyard

Fantastic nursery! My little boy is naturally shy and does not like strangers. However, it did not take long at all for him to settle in (9 months) with the amazing staff at Kids 1st Wynyard. He will happily go to them with a smile on his face. It is obvious that the staff absolutely adore the children and will work with parents to ensure they are fully given the best care possible. I know my boy will be having a comfortable, enriched and fun day.

Our eldest daughter started here in January in preschool after moving her as we were unhappy with the previous nursery and we were worried about how she would settle. However, within days she looked forward to going and made relationships with staff who were all friendly, caring and approachable. She formed new friendships and thrived so much more in the short time she attended. She has just graduated and is ready for reception. It was this experience that influenced our decision to also send our youngest daughter. My youngest daughter is 8 months old and her face lights up when we walk through the door. Even staff who are not based in her room stop and say hello. I can not recommend this nursery enough. Such a positive place, full of dedicated and caring professionals.

They were also amazing when my eldest son wasn’t getting the best treatment at a school nursery. They found him a place, transferred the funding and had him in for a taster day the next day. He’s so much happier and back to being the confident little boy he had been before. Couldn’t recommend Kids 1st enough.

My son started nursery at the end of February which I was very nervous about but there was no need. The staff are absolutely amazing. They have settled my little boy in lovely and keep me updated with everything. They are so kind and caring and nothing I ask is too much. They work so hard all day everyday! Special thanks to three members of staff, in particular, who have been incredible looking after my world!

I have been very nervous about sending my son to nursery but the staff have made it a smooth transition and take everything on board to help keep him safe, well and happy. The parent app is also a great tool to keep in touch and on top of progress.

Absolutely brilliant nursery. All the staff that I have come into contact with are so welcoming and friendly. My daughter has been attending this nursery since she was 9 months old and she is absolutely thriving. She has come on leaps and bounds with the help of the nursery, her development is brilliant for her age. She enjoys attending so much and I love hearing about her day. My daughter eats many different nutritious meals and takes part in so many fun educational activities. They put so much effort into various things for the children and could not recommend this nursery enough. Absolutely brilliant!

My little boy has attended Kids 1st Wynyard since he was 10 months old and is now 3. Every member of staff has been very friendly and helpful in every room that he has been in. I couldn't recommend more.

The staff work so hard, and work closely with parents. A very safe and happy environment. They always have something going on and it feels like my daughter is part of a community. Attending nursery has really opened her little world up and she loves it.

I highly recommend Kids 1st at Wynyard, my son has been going since he was 8 months old, he’s 2 this month. I have 4 children and he is the youngest, I can see the difference it has made to him being at nursery, he is a confident child, outgoing and loves going into nursery. All the staff are great, friendly and caring. I’m kept up to date with the app. He gets to do lots of activities and interact with different people but still has his key workers close by, he is trying lots of different foods that we wouldn’t normally cook as a family. I would highly recommend Kids 1st to anyone who needed childcare for work or just to build some confidence before they start school.

We sent our son (2018-2021) and send our daughter (2021-date) to Kids1st Wynyard and have always felt so welcome in this environment. Our son didn’t want to leave when he graduated from pre-school and our daughter is currently thriving in this setting. The staff are warm, welcoming and highly professional. The children do lots of wide-ranging activities and the environment is stimulating and educational, whilst clean, safe and has quieter zones for rest times. Both children have also thoroughly enjoyed meal times here too! Would highly recommend. As a parent, I am totally comfortable leaving my child in this environment, knowing that they are cared for by a brilliant team.

Excellent nursery, completely recommend! My child attends the Wynyard nursery, and the staff are fantastic! Very kind, welcoming, and supportive of any new children. Thanks to the nursery for being so great!

Amazing staff, communication, care and overall standards!

Learning something new everyday and with the use of the app, we feel very involved in our child’s learning each day she is in.

The staff are lovely and are always communicating with us every step of the way.

Highly recommend Kids 1st to anyone looking for a day nursery. The staff are all excellent, my daughter loves it. I was nervous starting nursery because I'd never left her before, and she was very clingy to me. She has settled in so well, and so quickly, and has come on loads in a short time! I am extremely grateful to the ladies in the baby room! She is excited to get in the car in the morning when she knows she's going to nursery, she's happy when I drop her off and she's happy when I pick her up! I get loads of updates throughout the day on the app, and I get pictures of her enjoying herself! The food is great and they always make sure she eats enough, the activities are lovely and most of all the staff are caring, enthusiastic and consistently excellent. My son attended from 10 months until starting reception and, when it was time to send our daughter, we didn't look anywhere else! It is worth every penny and I wouldn't dream of sending her anywhere else.

I will definitely recommend Kids 1st at Wynyard. My son started going when he was 11 months. He was happy from day one. He attended full-time for one year. All staff members are caring and professional making him feel at home and giving us peace of mind. He was excited to go every morning. Unfortunately, 4 months ago we had to move south. If not, he would have gone there until preschool.

With having a lockdown baby I was really apprehensive when sending him to nursery and how well he would settle but I had nothing to worry about. The staff in Starfish 1 have all been amazing from day 1, my little boy loves going and has settled in well. I feel confident leaving him in their care and know he has so much fun. Thank you!

My son has learnt so much since being in Kids 1st Wynyard. He is so confident and clever since going, he absolutely loves it and gets excited when I take him to the door! Love the photos and comments on the app when he’s there too! The staff are lovely and make him feel very happy there, I don’t have a bad word to say, accept when the children are off you can’t put holidays in which is a bit of a shame. Apart from that, it’s everything I would want in a nursery.

Both of my children have attended Kids 1st Wynyard, all staff within the setting are outstanding and put one hundred and ten percent into the care of each and every child daily. My daughter currently attends and absolutely loves her time at Kids 1st Wynyard, she has an amazing bond with staff and children, we will be very sad when she leaves.

Our daughter attends Kids 1st Wynyard as did our son who left two years ago. Both of our children have loved attending this nursery. Our little girl bounces out of the door each morning, excited for all of the experiences she gets at this nursery. I feel so reassured leaving my child in their care as I know how fantastic they all are. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this nursery, it's a lovely, caring place for your children to attend.

You know you’ve picked the right nursery when your daughter is very excited going into nursery and cries when you turn up to take her home. Lots of development activities that have helped her to develop quickly and happily. It’ll be a sad day when she moves up to the next group and leave her best friend, her key worker behind.
