A key person system ensures there is regular feedback on progress and staff are also trained to support positive behaviour.

Minnows Nursery is a really good place. My grandson has settled in really well, he enjoys going to nursery and he enjoys playing with the other children. He also has great relationships with the staff, who are very helpful, they have also helped me.

My son and daughter both started nursery approximately 2 months ago. They have settled in nicely and enjoy themselves when they attend. They have taken to certain staff members really well and I have noticed an improvement in their behaviour. Overall they are happy and are enjoying their time at the nursery.

Adele began her childcare career at the age of 16 and has built a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience across a variety of early years settings. Her journey has included working within Montessori nurseries, primary schools, afterschool clubs, and curiosity and play-based nursery environments, giving her a broad understanding of how children learn and thrive.
Adele first joined Nunthorpe Nurseries in 2010 and proudly returned in 2026, bringing with her many years of additional experience, fresh ideas, and a continued passion for delivering high-quality childcare.
As Nursery Manager at Minnows Day Nursery, Adele is dedicated to creating a warm, nurturing, and inspiring environment where every child feels valued, supported, and encouraged to grow in confidence and independence. Her passion for education, combined with her commitment to giving children the very best start in life, is reflected throughout the nursery each day.
Adele is also the setting’s Safeguarding Lead and SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator), ensuring all children are supported, protected, and given every opportunity to thrive.
