Nunthorpe Children's Day Nursery

Would certainly recommend it.

When viewing the nursery, my daughter ran in and didn't look for me once as she immediately felt comfortable there. The staff are so friendly and always make an effort with my son when we arrive at pick-up time too. My daughter has a great relationship with her key worker and other members of staff, she'll often mention them when telling us about her day. She absolutely loves going to nursery, sending her here was the best decision I could have made for her!

My daughter loves going to nursery every day. She literally runs in with a smile on her face and is welcomed with big smiles and open arms by the staff. When she first started she was very upset to be left but the staff were so supportive and were sure to let me know as soon as she had settled and soon enough there were no more tears in the morning. I would definitely recommend it to others. I feel my daughter is well looked after and safe and that effort is being made to help her learn something new every day.

My son has a wonderful time at nursery. He is always excited to show me what creations he has made and tell me who he has been playing with. He has a great relationship with his key workers and I feel confident they are providing a wonderful care setting full of different opportunities to learn and play.

So happy to drop my son at nursery on the days that he is booked in for. He is happy to go in and enjoys his time there. His development is coming on leaps and bounds and all the staff have been helpful and supportive to me and him throughout the time he has attended the nursery. I would not take him to any other nursery as Nunthorpe, in my opinion, is excellent. To see your little boy so excited to go in is just amazing. Amazing, caring staff and management.

Our little girl has been going to this nursery for a while now and we have nothing but excellent service from all the staff, nothing is too much trouble and they're always polite and friendly. We wouldn't dream of sending our daughter anywhere else.

Couldn't be happier. This nursery is welcoming, loving and lots of fun! Always hosting events for specific days/times of year but without pressure on parents to provide things, so the children can benefit and parents can take them free of the guilt of not having the right t-shirt/outfit/accessory. I feel like my children are known by the staff, communication is good - particularly on pick up with 1-1 feedback, shared concerns and lots of praise. The food is good and very varied. The environment is lovely and the staff all professional and welcoming. Happy children = happy mummy!

This is a lovely nursery with a homely feel to it. All the staff are amazing with the children, always making sure there is lots of fun and learning to be had. Even a little sign language class every Tuesday! My little girl was very shy prior to starting here but soon came out of her shell and gets very excited to go see all her friends and teachers, she is always telling me how nice the food is too! It’s nice to not have to worry whilst busy with work and know my little one is looked after.

Excellent nursery - I would 100% recommend - the staff are very friendly and professional - my daughters run into the nursery every day and are always happy to go - I myself always feel that all my children have been very comfortable, safe and happy here.

We moved to the area a year ago and were very nervous about my daughter changing nurseries as she was settled at the old one. Now I am glad my two children go here. The staff are always attentive and my experience with the nursery has been positive overall.

These teachers are amazing at working with children, also when your children are bad they give good advice on what to say to doctors. My child's key worker is brilliant and processes her progress. Also, they are understanding of your child's health.

My child has attended Nunthorpe Day Nursery for around five months. He settled in instantly, the staff are very friendly and approachable. I highly recommend the Nursery to anybody considering childcare. My son loves playing with the other children and is happy to go to nursery which is what every parent hopes for. The Nursery are currently supporting us with toilet training which is going brilliantly.

If you are looking for a nursery for your small people, look no further! Nunthorpe Children's Day Nursery is the place dreams are made of! My children go here and they absolutely love it. Every member of staff brings something different to how the place is run and for me, it runs like clockwork. Everything is just brilliant, no stress at all as their communication with you is awesome.

Very safe and caring atmosphere where the children can let their imaginations run free. Nunthorpe will always be a part of our family.

When we first walked into the nursery a few months ago, we got a warm welcome from the manager, who talked us through the nursery and showed us the space around. My daughter was comfortable on the very first day. The staff are excellent, and my daughter seems to be happy attending the nursery. Everyone around is so friendly and polite. We don't regret any bits. Just perfect.

Amazing nursery! My daughter has developed so much because of the constant interaction the staff have with the children. She is learning there and having fun and is always happy when I collect her at the end of the day. The nursery are very supportive, they give great feedback on how my daughter has been throughout the day informing me of everything that has happened. The staff are lovely, they are friendly, full of smiles and have a positive energy right from Monday until Friday every week.

They always put the children first and it is clear they are passionate about what they do. Drop-offs and pickups are extremely quick if you need them to be. Regular updates are sent weekly about the menus and activities for the children. Every week both are always amazing. The nursery provides healthy food for the children with a wide variety of things to try alongside multiple fun but educational activities for the development of the children. I would recommend this nursery to anyone.

Brilliant nursery staff are friend and welcoming, my little one has came on leaps and bounds since coming her! Having a menu of what they are eating sent to you at the start of each week is also a great touch

We are delighted with Nunthorpe Children’s Day Nursery, our son is very happy there. The staff are friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They take the time to get to know the children as individuals and quickly work out their interests. The activities that are planned for the children are based around the interests of the children to target their next steps in development. We particularly love that the children are regularly taken out on visits like to the train station or the woods. We couldn’t ask for better!

My daughter looks forward to going to the nursery every day she attends, the smile on her face every time we pull up in the car is amazing. She has come on so much during her time at nursery and this is down to all the staff's one to one interaction with her. They go above and beyond to make sure my daughter is supported, has fun and feels loved. They are always willing to accommodate last-minute with extra days where there is space, which last week we needed due to work commitments. They just take that worry away from me and my wife due to their flexibility - we appreciate it very much - which means my daughter gets to play with her friends a bit more. Just one word for Nunthorpe Children's Day Nursery: amazing!
