Nunthorpe Children's Day Nursery

My son has been attending for 3 years and it is a fantastic nursery. He enjoys the daily activities and playing with his friends, both inside and outside the facilities are great. The staff go above and beyond to make sure the children are well supported and have a fun environment to learn in. Would highly recommend to anyone considering, we will be sad to leave.

We have recently joined the nursery and my daughter has settled in really well. The staff are all very welcoming and have made the transition very easy. She goes in without any issues and explores the room.

I will certainly recommend Nunthorpe Nurseries to anyone who is looking to put their child into a nursery. They have been absolutely amazing from the very start. Thank you.

We have been so pleased with our son's care at Nunthorpe Nursery. He has been going to nursery since he was 10 months (now 15 months). The staff are so friendly and we feel they all really know him on drop off and pick up, even if they aren't in his room day to day. They have managed his allergies and provide a variety of food making sure he doesn't miss out on anything tasty. He has grown so much in confidence and I think that's down to the care and fun he has at nursery! Would recommend it to anyone looking for childcare!

My daughter has recently moved up to the preschool room and I can't thank the girls enough for their kindness and patience in helping her settle in! She always has such a lovely time when at the Nursery and we will be very sad when she outgrows it.

Never had any faults with this nursery- Everyone is so lovely and helpful and takes great care of my child. Easy to contact if any issues and my child thoroughly enjoys attending! Definitely developed her confidence and communication.

The staff were reassuring, worked at my daughters pace in the settling in period with no pressure, I really appreciated this. The staff are lovely they do great activities and she really enjoys attending. Thanks.

My son has been going to the nursery since April 2024, at first he was unsettled but recent drop off we can tell a change in him he loves walking in and we can tell he is enjoying it now and this reassurance us that he is in a good environment with great staff and children - we always receive photo updates of what he is getting up too which we love.

The staff at Nunthorpe Nursery are lovely and welcoming. My daughter had a hard time settling in and being away from her siblings, but the staff have been excellent at getting her settled and always send me messages to let me know she is happy. Management are supportive and engaged. We would definitely recommend this nursery!

Nunthorpe Nursery is a lovely, welcoming nursery with nice big, bright rooms for the children to play. There are little areas set up each day with things to explore and activities to take part in. My little boy particularly likes it when they paint and glue (or do any messy activity). The staff are friendly and always greet you with a smile. They know the children well and have great relationships with them. My little boy loves nursery and I feel confident leaving him in their safe hands while I go to work. Staff are always happy to answer questions and keep us updated through emails and the nursery app. We viewed a lot of nurseries before deciding on this one and are so glad we made this choice and trusted our gut.

Both of my children started Nunthorpe Nursery in September 2024 and have settled in amazingly. The staff are caring and supportive and always on hand to answer any queries or concerns I have. The staff in my son's room (tweenies) have been fantastic at supporting his speech development and putting my mind at rest with my never-ending questions! Both of my children are excited and happy to attend nursery and always have a fantastic time! I couldn't rate this nursery high enough, 100% would recommend it!

Our son has been at this nursery for around 9 months now and they have been so good with him, he has really learned a lot of valuable things for his development and they take great care of him. The staff are really informative each day about how he has done and how he has been interacting. We receive plenty of updates and photos too so its been a great experience for him and us and we would recommend the nursery to anyone.

I will be keeping my grandson at Nunthorpe Nursery until he is at an age for full-time school.

My little boy started this nursery two days a week to get him used to spending time with other children. He absolutely loves going, looks forward to it each morning he is there. The staff are all so attentive and pleasant, my little boy has come on leaps and bounds. I would highly recommend to other parents looking for a nursery for their children.

Great nursery, staff really friendly and our son loves going. Lots of activities, fun and he's always well fed. He's been going for a year now and the staff are really supportive, they give help and guidance with any issues that crop up (terrible twos!) and know their stuff.

All the staff are great, a really welcoming place for my little one. My little girl has recently completed potty training and the girls in the ladybird room have all been so patient and helpful. A really lovely nursery all around.

Fantastic nursery, couldn’t rate it highly enough! The staff are very friendly with ourselves and our child. Always attentive and send us frequent photos to show what our child has been learning or doing during the day, putting our minds at ease.
