Set in Coquet Park First School, Zone4kids is registered for 48 children aged from two years to eight years. Working with the school the nursery provides breakfast and after school care as well as afternoon wraparound care for children.

Zone4kids provide a morning toddler zone (9.00am to 12 noon).

These sessions are available to existing parents/carers as well as new parents who do not use the school, subject to the North Tyneside school admissions policy.

The aim is to provide reliable and consistent service in a happy, secure and stimulating environment for children, with use of the school outdoor facilities children have the opportunity to exert their energy through the many planned outside activities as well as have time to relax and enjoy a large range of indoor activities.

The nursery is proud to have the prestigious Millies's Mark accreditation awarded in 2018, having this award demonstrates the nursery's commitment to going above and beyond the minimum requirements for keeping children safe.

All staff working directly with children not only hold a paediatric first aid certificate but are also competent in how to apply this in practice.

Great nursery, lovely staff and good facilities. Started using it as a wraparound for my daughter going to the school nursery. Hugely convenient as wraparound care to the main school and seamless provision. My daughter really enjoys going and is enjoying spending time with the other children.

My daughter has a fantastic time at the out of School club. Every day they do a different themed activity - from making soup and pizza to decorating face masks. Her favourite was the spa-themed afternoon where they made cucumber face masks, listened to relaxing music and put cucumber on their eyes!
This term she was chosen to be one of the club council and could suggest different activities for everyone to do - which gave her a real sense of pride and confidence. All the staff are extremely enthusiastic, professional and caring. I also like the update when I pick her up on how her afternoon has been, including what she has eaten. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.

We decided to send our daughter to nursery during lockdown to bring on her speech and have more social interaction. This was the second nursery we picked thanks to a recommendation. The two experiences couldn't have been more different. My daughter struggled to settle in initially and staff did everything
to make sure she did. They have been absolutely amazing and my daughter now looks forward to nursery. Her speech is improving and I am so impressed with the range of activities available. I couldn't recommend this nursery more.

Our daughter has been going to Zone at Coquet Park since September 2020 and loves it. The manager and the team are wonderful. The activities and environment are very good and both entertaining and educational. Our daughter has learned so much due to attending Zone.

Zone4kids have been brilliant at getting my child used to being away from Mum and Dad. He enjoys it so much and has come on so much. I love to see all the photos I get sent and see how much he does in such a short space of time.

My wife and I have been very impressed with Zone4kids at Coquet Park First School. Our daughter goes to Zone4kids 5 days a week. She can be quite shy in new environments and after spending a long period in lockdown before attending Zone4kids, we were worried she would not respond well to this new environment.
However, the staff were excellent and helped her to feel comfortable and secure. She now loves going and often tells us about the fun she has had there. We feel fortunate that our daughter can attend Zone4kids at Coquet Park First School. We are incredibly grateful for all the hard work the staff have done, especially during the current circumstances, created by the coronavirus pandemic.

What a wonderful nursery, my son started in December full time at 23 months. This was his first experience of playgroup without me. He absolutely loves it, the staff are brilliant. His speech has come along amazingly and his confidence too. Each day he comes home, it’s as if he’s learnt something new
and it’s special. I’m very grateful to the manager and her team for taking extra special care of him and all of his little friends. Thank you.

I literally can't thank Zone4kids enough. All the staff here are really attentive, friendly and caring. My son loves going to nursery. Thank you for creating a lovely, homely and safe environment for the children to explore and develop. I am really happy knowing my son is in good care.

My child comes to nursery happily. She loves her key worker and looks forward to being greeted by her in the morning. We are impressed with the importance placed on safeguarding. We have no complaints and are very happy with Zone4kids. We would highly recommend it.

My son has been attending Zone4kids and he loves it! He loves all the different activities available to him, he likes to help the girls too. He was with a local childminder but she was poorly so Zone4kids helped me out and after his first visit he said that he wanted to come back. He now goes twice
a week and is no longer with his childminder.

Zone4KIds at Croquet Park is a lovely afterschool club. My daughter loves her sessions here and is disappointed on the days I pick her up. The staff are caring and attentive and my daughter has made new friends from all years.

The atmosphere at Zone4kids at Coquet Park is fantastic. My daughter is always keen to go and often sad to leave. All of the staff are friendly and show genuine affection and caring towards my daughter, therefore she is very comfortable around the staff. Feedback at the end of the day is excellent regarding
activities, eating and also my daughter's emotion. The facilities are great never overcrowded and offer both basic crafts and some interactive technology. My daughter is never bored. The presence of older children also creates an environment that helps my daughters confidence. Overall the best nursery my daughter has attended.

Fantastic nursery - staff are welcoming, kind, friendly, professional. My twins have only been going since January and they have settled in so well and that is due to the fantastic staff and the environment they create.

I would like to say how wonderful the staff are at the Coquet Park Zone. They are always friendly and every morning they welcome my child with a smile. My little boy loves going to Zone every morning and evening. A huge well done to the manager and the team.

Ashleigh has over twelve years of experience in childcare and has been part of the Tynemouth Nursery Group family for more than seven years.


She is a mum to her two sons, aged eight years and six months. Ashleigh prides herself on creating a warm, home-from-home environment while providing children with new and exciting experiences and opportunities to learn and grow.
