My daughter has only been coming here a couple of weeks and has settled fine, she loves coming and asks to come. I wouldn't have her go anywhere else and I couldn't thank the staff enough for all they do!

I am very happy with Marton Children's Day Nursery, my 3-year-old son loves getting up to go to nursery and see his friends and teachers.
He has progressed a lot with his speech and learning. The staff are really friendly and I trust them with my son's care. They have helped a lot with his toilet training.

Could not fault this nursery, all the staff are really friendly and lovely, helpful people.
My daughter comes when I drop her off but doesn't want to come home when I pick her up.
So glad I got her in here, will be sorry to see her leave in February. Keep up the good work girls. I will also miss
bringing my daughter here.

My daughter attended this nursery, she is now 10. I would highly recommend it. Staff are really nice, caring and will go above and beyond for your child. My son has attended this nursery since he was 9 months, he is now 2 and a half. He loves it, loves all the girls and has made some lovely friends.
Highly rate Marton side, wouldn't send my children anywhere else.
Staff should be really proud of themselves and how hard they work.

My son started this nursery at the end of 2017. He was a very clingy child who wouldn't even stay with his grandparent for even 15 minutes. He's not an independent boy who will interact with others and spread his wings without needing to be with mummy. He has come on so much with his social skills and
development since starting this nursery. I'll be sad when he has to leave and start school in September. Staff are lovely!

If anyone is looking for a nursery look no further than Martonside, I have used this nursery for the past 12 years. The staff are amazing..!!! They will go above and beyond with anything, nothing is too much to ask, all the girls are truly amazing.
My little girl left her blankey at nursery on a Friday
and we couldn’t obviously get it over the weekend. Two girls, on a Saturday, their day off went to nursery collected it and dropped it to our house, no other nursery would do that. My children love the staff at this nursery, they are confident with them all. Not afraid to speak to anyone about anything. I would one million percent recommend this nursery, would never go anywhere else. Nothing is too much, my kids class these girls as family, they are not like your average teachers, they treat all the kids like their own. Never a dull moment. This place has the best staff hands down. Keep it up ladies you do a truly amazing job every day and we love you all xx

Marton Children's Day Nursery is an absolutely outstanding nursery. The staff are more than accommodating and the way they all welcome the children and make them feel comfortable and welcome is fantastic. My oldest attended from 2015 until 2017 and I signed up my youngest as soon as they were born in
2015 as I didn't want to run the risk of there being no spaces available later on. Highly recommended nursery.

Great nursery, staff could not be more caring and attentive to all the children. All of my child’s daily needs are met and he is more than happy when he is there. They do a great range of entertaining activities with the children. My son has been attending since he was 9 months old and as a first-time
parent I was naturally hesitant to want to leave my baby when going back to work, but after he attended his trial session I was more than confident that he was in good hands. Highly recommend!

The girls at Marton Childrens Day Nursery are fab with my son. No question is a problem and they're always very accommodating.

My son goes to nursery once a week but he's coming on in leaps and bounds and is always in a great mood when we collect him.

They're always on top of anything to report

back at the end of the day and they provide a brilliant service.

Current Review Score: 9.9 (9.948)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.9 (9.948) out of 10 for Marton Childrens Day Nursery is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 37 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 37 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.948 for Marton Childrens Day Nursery is calculated as follows: ( (422 Excellents x 5) + (21 Goods x 4) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 444 Ratings = 4.948
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Marton Childrens Day Nursery is based on 37 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 97 number of registered child places is 19.4, which has been reached with 37 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
