Kids 1st Quorum is a Longbenton childcare facility offering an expert and versatile programme of early years education in an environment in which youngsters feel pleased to learn and express themselves.

Enclosed gardens allow children to enjoy the outdoors as well and the nursery organises a number of family and social events to embrace service users and bring the community closer together.

Some of the skills children are able to enjoy an early experience of include music, languages and movement, as well as a keen focus on language and literacy.

In 2012 Kids 1st Quorum achieved an 'Outstanding' Ofsted report.

Kids 1st Quorum is a very friendly nursery. The staff are very friendly and they are very encouraging towards our daughter. They provide helpful and informative updates at the end of the day. Our daughter always leaves smiling which says it all.

My son has been attending Kids 1st Quorum for just over a year and in the time, he has developed so much with the help of the dedicated and caring staff.
Having gone from wanting absolutely no contact at all with other children due to his autism, he will now not only tolerate other children near him
but even engage in limited games and other social interactions with his classmates.
We couldn’t have asked for more from the staff there.

I was reluctant to put my child in nursery and after visiting a number of nurseries that didn't "feel right", I was ready to give up and not return to work. Kids 1st Quorum was our last visit and I instantly felt comfortable as we were welcomed warmly by the staff. The nursery was clean and all the
babies seemed happy. The staff interacted well with the babies and I felt that this was "the one". My daughter has been in for a few months now and she loves it. I feel comfortable leaving her there to go to work. Thanks Kids 1st.

My son is currently thriving in this environment and I'm pleased to see his confidence building every day. I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery to anyone else, I even have my unborn child's name is already on the list to Join next year. I will be using them as we have got to know most of the
staff now, and my son also has built many trusted relationships with his key workers. The facilities are excellent and there is a lovely garden area for them to play outside. They also have a very good food menu, which is full of nutritional value, and that was also quite important to us as parents. Overall very happy and will definitely use this nursery again.

Both my grandchildren come to Kids 1st Quorum. They have developed and grown in confidence so much since starting the nursery. I really enjoy picking them up as I always get a lovely handover from staff and they both look so happy and comfortable here. I often pick up while the eldest is having his
tea and would be very tempted to stay for tea myself as it always looks delicious.

Both my boys go to Quorum and absolutely love it. Staff are friendly and professional and you can see they love their jobs and the children in there care. Facilities are fantastic and nursery always looks clean.
The boys are progressing so well and that's thanks to the ongoing support from staff
and the great resources and experiences they are offered.

Excellent nursery with hard working and friendly staff. My daughter's development has excelled since starting the nursery. I attended a play day and got an insight into her nursery day and it was good to see the staff and children interacting and having lots of fun.

Amazing nursery, my little girl loves going to nursery and has the most amazing bond with the staff. She always comes home smiling and I am so glad she attends.

Hannah Burn

Job Title: Centre Director Joined: 2015

Hello, my name is Hannah and I am the Centre Director here at Kids 1st - Quorum.


I have worked within the company for 7 years after I finished my degree at Northumbria University in Early years and Health, I knew I wanted to work with you in the Early Years as I thrive off seeing children develop and having fun while they learn. I started in 2015 as a Nursery Assistant and increased my knowledge and experience. I am now very excited to embark on this new adventure of running my own nursery with an outstanding team of practitioners. On a weekend I enjoy my downtime by socialising with my friends and walking my little cockapoo 'Bertie'.  


I look forward to welcoming and showing new families around our beautiful nursery in Newcastle.
