Kids Planet Barkston Ash

I have always been really happy with the care my child has received at Kids Planet Barkston Ash. The staff are a real asset and they all really know the children. They do really nice activities with the children, in the room, outdoors and even take them on trips. Communication via the app has always been good, regular photos are fab and staff always have time to feedback at pick up. My child has allergies and they have looked after my son well and made sure he is included with everything whilst also kept safe. I would highly recommend the nursery. The staff are experienced, dedicated and really care.

Friendly, caring staff who have always done an excellent job of providing care to my daughter. The nursery manager is also extremely knowledgeable, kind and great at communicating with parents. Would highly recommend Barkston Ash Kids Planet as a nursery to other parents for their children.

The staff are friendly and caring. I feel safe leaving our children there as we know they are well looked after. They partake in a wide range of activities indoors and out. I would recommend Kids Planet.

I am very happy with the nursery. My son seems relaxed and comfortable with the staff, considering he's only really been going a month and I personally feel like he's come on leaps and bounds developmentally.

Since my daughter joined this nursery in January 2023, she has thrived. I can see in other activities that we have done that she is used to following simple instructions such as story time. My daughter loves nursery. She gets so excited on nursery mornings! The staff at the nursery are so attentive and I can see the great relationships my daughter has made with them all. My daughter has a milk allergy and the nursery has accommodated this and given her alternative foods when necessary. They are excellent at communicating with parents and give me updates as and when they can during the day which I love because I can see how her day is going and know what kind of mood to expect when I pick her up if she hasn't napped or eaten well.

My son began attending Kids Planet Nursery when he was just five months old and I can't express my gratitude enough for the incredible experience. My son adored his time there and benefited greatly. He became more confident, and independent, and his speech improved significantly. He even started teaching us about road safety, emphasizing the dangers of the road and the safety of footpaths. His attention to small details and his ability to explain them make me immensely proud. The nursery staff are always there for both you and your children, and the manager consistently goes above and beyond. The nursery is exceptionally clean, maintains high hygiene standards, and offers beautiful, spacious playgrounds where your little one can explore and thrive.

Honestly can’t rave enough about how much we love Kids Planet. Especially our little boy's key worker. Our son has come on so much since being at Kids Planet and is above and beyond for his age. Which I think you find with a lot of the children at Kids Planet. He loves it and runs on in every day he is there, and comes home telling us what a brilliant day he has had and all the activities he has done with his friends. I honestly can’t recommend it enough. So much so that I’m sending my youngest daughter there soon. I’m not nervous or scared of leaving her as I know my baby will be in the safest hands.

Both of my children attend Kids Planet in Barkston Ash and have done since 10 months old. The staff there are fantastic, and they both love their key workers, learn so much and have so much fun. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

I am extremely happy with my child’s enthusiasm to go to Kids Planet and as long as that continues I am more than happy with the care provided by the nursery.

Not a reflection of the staff or location, the only questionable/dissatisfaction is the increases in costs which occurred twice in the same tax year and the fact the rates are widely different from site to site.

Just a lovely nursery with amazing people who run it.

My two daughters have attended from 7 months old. Currently they are ages 4 and 2. They love the nursery - from the food, practitioners and outdoor space. We couldn’t be happier with their setting and recommend it to everyone

Such an incredible nursery which truly has the children's best interests at heart! The staff are all so lovely and welcoming. My little one loves going to nursery and as a mummy, there's no better feeling than seeing his face light up when he sees the lovely staff! Thank you all, for being so wonderful, every single day!

Barkston Ash have been amazing - caring, supportive and lovely! We feel our child is safe and cared for with them providing a foundation for learning for our child. They love all the staff and are clearly very happy there.

Outstanding level of care provided by staff who go the extra mile for each child. There is a fantastic outside space for the children to play and lots of different activities provided by staff to help children have fun and learn. My son attended from age 9 months to 3 years and I would recommend this nursery to anyone. I can't thank the staff enough for all they have done for my boy.

My two boys have attended here since they were 23 months old and we cannot praise the Rainbow team enough. We visited several nurseries but Rainbow really stood out to us during our initial visit addressing the many questions we had. The team all greeted the boys through every room we visited and the wonderful setting and the vast amount of toys/activities was impressive. During the induction visits the boys had completely washed away any worries we had, the staff are very knowledgeable and they are also very experienced in dealing with twins. The Rainbow team made sure we were updated throughout the visits and this has continued in the 2+ years the boys have been there via frequent updates on the online journal systems and an update verbally at pick up. The management and the nursery team have been a credit to the nursery during Covid-19. Our 2 boys are now confident, happy little boys looking forward to school and Rainbow has been a big part in getting them ready.

I can’t recommend this nursery enough, both friendly and professional - I’m extremely confident knowing both sons will be developing in a fun and nurturing environment.

Our son has very happily attended Rainbow since he was 9 months old and is now in preschool there. Every single staff member that has been involved with his care has been professional, knowledgeable, kind and loving. They know our son inside out and look after him so well when he is there. We are also very grateful for their tireless support due to our son's recent diagnosis of having additional needs, which Rainbow has immediately taken on board. We would recommend Rainbow to anyone, and cannot wait for our 4-month-old daughter to join her brother there soon.
