Busy Bees Harrogate Hornbeam Park was the first purpose-built addition to this growing range of day nurseries, constructed to a design that maximises space, light and freedom of movement.

From birth to preschool age, children enjoy extensive play resources and activities that will inspire their creative ability, together with the key skills they need to progress towards school.

Security and staffing is monitored at all times, an entry system is in place and play equipment has been designed to suit the highest safety standards.

My daughter has attended here since 10 months old and will now be going to school in September. She loves going to nursery, she's made great friends and the staff all seem good.
We get good handovers at home time of what she's done/how she's been through the day and staff genuinely care for her.
The
updates in the app are useful to know what's going on, if they have been eating etc. She's always bringing home crafts and drawings she's done and they spend as much time outdoors as possible.
I would definitely recommend this nursery.

My son has been at Busy Bees Hornbeam Park for just over a year now and has loved his days there from the start. The activities created by the staff are so imaginative and creative and give the children the freedom and space to discover and learn both on their own and with guidance. His brother is due
to start at Busy Bees next year and I feel so relieved knowing that they will both be in such a positive environment when I go back to work. Thank you Busy Bees!

3 of my children have been to Busy Bees at Hornbeam and we've had a great experience on the whole. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the kids look forward to going to nursery, which is a big thing!
Only negative feedback is related to fees/costs - I know of other nurseries where illness-related
absences mean you don't have to pay or can transfer days of attendance to other days of the week, which is not the case here. Easy to grumble about costs in this economy, but that's no reflection of the quality of the service.

Both my children have had a wonderful time at Busy Bees.
The staff are all caring and nurturing. I'm really impressed by their innovative ideas to stimulate the children's learning.
My children feel happy and safe there which is my most important criteria.

Excellent nursery, the program done for my son's transition to school has been superb and really well thought out! He has had a great last 6 weeks! He comes home full of new knowledge and has always had a great day! The staff have been excellent towards him and very nurturing from baby to preschool
years! We will be sad to leave for his next stage in life at school.

Despite the recent turbulence of staffing and sickness, due to covid (of staff and children alike), my daughter has always emerged with a smile on her face, no more so than since moving to Buzz in January 2022. She's challenged, she's learning, she's building confidence in a safe and fun environment
and the carers do truly care. Thanks for making the hard decision to leave my child to go out to work, that little bit easier.

Our daughter has been attending Busy Bees for four days a week since January 2021 and absolutely loves it - she walks herself in with a big smile on her face! The members of staff are amazing, we feel that they really care about our daughter and her development. We get frequent updates on the app throughout
the day, including photos, and always get a good summary of her day at pick-up time too. She's built really good relationships with the staff in her room and even staff who aren't in her room greet her in the morning, it's such a lovely welcoming environment. The nursery building is purpose-built and has excellent outdoor space, the children spend a good amount of time outside and take part in lots of different activities, which is great. Our daughter has developed so much since being at Busy Bees and really benefits from the social side of nursery life. We would highly recommend this nursery!

A wonderful nursery, with staff who are incredibly nurturing and caring. My daughter has grown so much more confident since attending and she is always happy at drop off and pick up. I would definitely recommend.

I have two children at this nursery that visit on a part time basis (3 full days / per week). The staff are very friendly and approachable. Both my children adore their key workers. The staff greet my children every morning and give me direct feedback at the end of every day. There is also a 'parentzone'
app that provides a more detailed account should I want to find out more. The food is varied and plentiful. A menu is listed on a board at the entrance for all parents to view. The facilities are also great - lots of space both inside and out. My oldest child will leave this nursery in September to start school but the staff have worked hard to prepare him for the move. He has a good understanding of numbers and letters and they have encouraged him to be more independent which should help his transition. In summary, this is a great nursery that I would highly recommend.

Busy Bees has been the best start for our little girl. She is about to start school and Busy Bees staff have worked really hard to get her ready. All of the staff have been amazing and we trust them fully. Highly recommend to anyone. Thank you for everything.

My son has excelled at nursery due to the dedication, commitment and skills of the team that run his room.
He is due to start school as the youngest in the year and I have no worries at all that he isn’t ready due to the preparations they have done with the group. He loves to go every morning and
asks to go on weekends too. He loves the team that cares for him and talks fondly of them all.
We will miss them all when we leave!

Highly recommend Busy Bees, Hornbeam Park! In the short period of time, our child was at their preschool setting, we experienced excellent care from a really great team. We were made to feel completely welcome, and, given the circumstances of the last 18 months, we were confident our child was in safe
hands with the Covid measures in place. The staff we encountered were always friendly and the setting was great at communicating with parents. Will definitely consider a place at Hornbeam Park for our new baby.

Both my children have attended Busy Bees at Hornbeam Park I cannot recommend them enough. The care they provide is excellent and every member of staff is caring, friendly and approachable. The activities they do with the children are well varied and the preschool project that is undertaken is brilliant
in getting children ready for preparing them for their next steps in starting school. I would highly recommend this nursery to any prospective parent.

My two children have been very well looked after at this childcare. All staff are very friendly and reassuring for both my 2 and 4-year-old. Staff have answered all queries and management are extremely professional and considerate.
The transition to Preschool and the preparation has been fantastic
and really well-considered to cover things like group time, getting changed for PE and lunchtime.
There has also been a great programme of development for language, letter recognition and beginning to write his own name.
My son has been welcomed into the group and I am sad to see him leaving the friends he has made on his next transition to school.
My 2-year-old has been engaged in lots of activities that provide a range of media and are well prepared for outside and indoor play.
The outside space is the best I have seen when looking for a nursery and the building is large, airy and set up for the purpose.

My daughter loves going to nursery every day, the staff is amazing, friendly a caring. They always accommodated our request for any changes and we are as parents are so grateful for this. My daughter has been attending for the past 3 years and she was always happy. The outdoor area is really nice with
good equipment and toys. Good choice of healthy food. Nice and clean facilities. I can recommend!

We were worried our daughter would take a while to settle back into the nursery after lockdown, but she runs in excitedly every day she goes! All the staff are very caring and clearly love working with all the children.
We wanted to phase our daughter going back 3-days then 4-days a week, and the
nursery was incredibly accommodating. Would highly recommend!

I joined part of the Busy Bees Family, in 2002. Working my way through the positions between Apprentice to Centre Director
I combine my professional qualifications with my own practical experience of raising three children. I feel a huge sense of pride contributing to the development and learning of children as individuals and supporting families in my care.
I now thrive from supporting and training staff to deliver the best outcomes for children in their care.
