Partou Roundhay Day Nursery & Pre-School, provides exceptional care and education for children from birth up to the age of five.

The nursery provides a warm, inclusive and stimulating environment where children thrive and are supported to meet their early childhood milestones. The children have access to a large outdoor area, which is divided by age for children to be able to access age appropriate equipment. The nursery provides extracurricular sessions of ‘Bilingua Sing’ (Spanish) for babies and preschool room and ‘Baby Ballet’ for the 2-3yrs rooms these run on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

The nursery enjoy going on outings within the local community to the local parks and on seasonal walks. They explore the children’s cultural capital on their outings by learning about road safety, visiting local churches, care homes and shops to provide new and exciting opportunities.

The team includes two qualified early years’ teachers, who help prepare the children for their next adventure at primary school. Parents are kept up to date and involved with their children’s learning and development using the nursery’s online learning journal.

The nursery’s experienced childcare practitioners hold childcare qualifications, paediatric first aid certificates and safeguarding training. Every team member has enhanced DBS checks and the nursery has CCTV and a secure door entry systems for added security.

The chef at Roundhay prepares the nursery’s fresh and nutritionally balanced meals and snacks in the nursery kitchen, providing children with healthy and delicious homemade food every day.

15 and 30 Hours Free Childcare places are available for eligible families.

My two-year-old son currently attends Little Learners, and my daughter had been in Big Learners before starting primary school in September. Across both rooms I have been very satisfied with the level of care that both children have been given. The staff provide a stimulating, safe and supportive environment
which has nurtured the children’s development into happy, independent and confident little people. The communication from the staff about the day’s activities is excellent, and I’ve witnessed the healthy homemade meals that are offered. I am very satisfied with our experience at Primley Park Roundhay.

I am happy and satisfied with all the hard work all staff are achieving at the nursery. The only comment I have, the toilet, most of the times I took my son I found it not a high standard clean, as it should be for the children. Hope they can consider my comment as a point to be reviewed for the cleaning
point. Overall am happy with everything else.

My little girl loves nursery. She can't wait to get in on a morning and often tells me she's not ready to leave when I come to pick her up. She has learnt so much in the 4 months since she started and surprises me all the time with the new skills she's picked up.
The staff in little learners are
fantastic and make sure to fill me in on what she's been doing all day which is great. I feel happy and confident leaving my daughter in their safe hands and look forward to hearing about all the fun she's had at the end of the day.

We have been so impressed with how much the nursery has grown and changed since we first started. The manager and staff listen to parents and have actively sought to improve the nursery continuously. The setting is fantastic with a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities to really stimulate children’s
imagination and want to learn. The staff are so caring to each and every child and they all know the students even if they don’t supervise them directly. Our child has come on leaps and bounds showing such a keen interest to learn, be social but also be independent. I’d highly recommend this nursery to any prospective parent.

My Daughter thoroughly enjoys her days at Primley Park Roundhay. The staff are brilliant, the activities are engaging and the recently renovated environment really aids playful learning.


The manager has implemented some really great new initiatives and I find all of the current staff engaging and

knowledgable.


Communication with parents is regular and informative and I wouldn’t hesitate talking to any of the staff if I had any feedback.


I’d highly recommend this nursery.

I have two children at the nursery and am confident that they are well looked after and happy there. The older one does varied activities that relate to his interests and I feel that the staff treat him as an individual and understand his specific needs. My one year old has settled in really well. There
is a nice atmosphere at the nursery and all staff are very approachable, friendly and enthusiastic.

The nursery staff provides a very loving environment and they really care about the children. My baby daughter likes going there a lot and built excellent relationships with her key workers, but also to other members of staff. Every child is getting a very lovely welcome in the morning as well as a
lovely goodbye in the afternoon/evening. The nursery recently changed the concept to a more heuristic approach, which I like. It encourages the children to be more creative and play more freely. The rooms have recently been refurbished.

I’ve never felt like my son was just another child in the nursery - it always feels like the team (not just his key worker) genuinely cares for him. They know him and when he’s not himself, what he likes, what makes him laugh. Most importantly he loves going and loves them!
