Partou Roundhay Day Nursery & Pre-School

The staff are very caring and conscientious. Our little girl took a while to settle in but now looks forward to nursery with her pals.

My experience of the staff at Primley has been very good and my child has been very happy with all her key workers to date. They are caring, supportive and helpful. I do think however there has been a lot of senior management changes since my child joined and ideally, I would like a return to more regular and detailed learning book updates. In terms of value for money, I think the allocation in the day rate for food is very high and so the benefits of the 30 free hours of care is less beneficial.

It's been such a relief to find somewhere that cares so much for my son. I cannot thank them enough.

There have been a few changes in management since my son has attended the nursery, despite this, they have been consistently friendly and always happy to answer any queries. There have also been some moves away from the menus published on the website however on the whole our son seems to really enjoy the food too.

Our daughter has been going to Primley Park since she was 6 months old (she's now 2 and half) and absolutely loves it there! The staff are all lovely and friendly and provide brilliant care for all the children. They go all out for holiday decorations and provide plenty of varied activities for the children!

The nursery is lovely, the staff are friendly and even those that don't work in the same room, often know my daughter by name. They work so hard to make each day different and engaging for my toddler. They always ask about the family and send personalised, handmade cards and crafts home. The use of learning book means I can see updates on what shes been doing most days which also helps with the parent guilt of leaving them. The slips at the end of each day keep me updated with nappies, food intake and what shes been up to. The staff have contributed massively to teaching and helping my daughter develop over the last 6 months. The food and nappies all in package means one less thing to worry about, whilst rushing to and from work, and the menu seems varied and changes. The nursery rooms are always clean and tidy.

I can't even put into words how amazing Primley has been for my daughter. The staff treated her like family. After a bad experience at a different nursery, my daughter was so scared to be led alone at the nursery. From day one of Primley, her attitude towards nursery changed. She now looks forward to nursery and seeing the staff. Thank you so much to everyone at Primley. You are amazing!

My son has been at this nursery for a year and a half to date since he was 3 months old. He loves it at the nursery, all the staff are great and they structure the activities around the children and their interests; there is a big focus on learning through play and sensory activities and my son always finishes the day with a huge smile on his face. The nursery is on a quiet road, therefore traffic pollution is minimal and it has a lovely outdoor garden space designed for young children that they use as often as the weather permits. I receive in-depth feedback about what my son has done every day as well as photos and stories on their Learning Book website. They respond well to my feedback and ensure specific demands and requirements are met. An excellent nursery and would highly recommend.

Primley Park Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Roundhay is an excellent nursery. I'd recommend them all day long. The staff are wonderful, really well informed and clearly passionate about early years care and learning. I'm confident that my son is getting the best care and attention when he's at nursery, which is great for me because I know I can't always give him all my attention when working, whilst caring for him at home. I especially love how much time he is encouraged to spend outdoors. Even when the weather is less than ideal, the children are encouraged, wrapped up appropriately, of course, to play outside. Primley Park Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Roundhay keep the children's interests, learning and enjoyment at the core of their operation and that's super important to me. We're always met with a smile on drop off and pick up and I'm consistently happy to see how excited my son is to run off and get his day started or how knackered he is after a fantastic and stimulating time at Primley Park Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Roundhay.

We have been so, so happy with our choice of nursery. The staff are all so friendly, approachable and have made settling in really easy for our daughter. We love the daily feedback reports informing us what our little one has been up to and the photos uploaded to the app. I would highly recommend Primley Park Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Roundhay to anyone and frequently do!

We were nervous about our twins starting nursery but they absolutely love Primley Park Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Roundhay. They settled in so well and a huge part of that is because of how much they love the nursery workers. They have a great time and run straight in to play. The team are always happy to help and most importantly the children are happy to be there which is a testament to the childcare they provide.

My son is seventeen months and loves his nursery. He’s always happy to see the staff and enjoys the activities they do. He has been able to socialise with other children his age. Would recommend this nursery.

The staff in the baby room put me at ease. I struggled with lots of anxiety about leaving my baby and they helped with the transition. I feel supported by staff, not just with the brilliant care they provide for my child.

My little girl had been at Primley Park Roundhay since she was ten months old, we chose to put her in a nursery so she would engage with different adults and children. We couldn’t be more pleased with the nursery we chose. She has developed so much since being at nursery and developed some amazing relationships! Our little girl's current keyworker is amazing. She really understands our daughter's needs and has taught her so much. Our daughter looks forwards to going to nursery every day and cannot wait for cuddles from her keyworker. She had made some lovely friendships with the children and loves to tell us about her day. It’s lovely to see all the different activities they get up to, and how these develop with the children’s interests. Our daughter will soon be moving up to the rainbow room and we are definitely going to miss her keyworker but we are looking forwards to the next chapter in our Primley Park adventure. Thank you to everyone who has helped our daughter grow so far.

Our little girl loves going to nursery at Primley Park Roundhay. The staff are fabulous, friendly and always have new exciting activities for the children. This has massively helped with her development. The bond my little girl has with the staff makes it really easy to leave her there. Even staff that don't work in her room are so friendly with us and our daughter it's a lovely atmosphere to walk into. I couldn't recommend the nursery enough!

My daughter started at Primley Park having previously only had a one on one childminder, so we were worried about how she would find the change but the nursery is brilliant. All of the staff seem to know the children well and everyone knows her name to greet her and keep her busy when I leave. She talks about nursery a lot at home and loves her key worker. It's always set up with different activities and once she's there I know she's in safe hands and having fun!

My little one loves going to nursery and seems to know when he is going, as he is out of the door by the time I've finished saying 'nursery'. He seems to have made good relations with the key workers and other children and enjoys their company. They are fab with him and sometimes he has so much fun or has become so interested in something that he doesn't want to leave. He has picked up a lot from the nursery, including improvements with his communication skills. Looking forward to my other one starting too!
