Partou Roundhay Day Nursery & Pre-School, provides exceptional care and education for children from birth up to the age of five.

The nursery provides a warm, inclusive and stimulating environment where children thrive and are supported to meet their early childhood milestones. The children have access to a large outdoor area, which is divided by age for children to be able to access age appropriate equipment. The nursery provides extracurricular sessions of ‘Bilingua Sing’ (Spanish) for babies and preschool room and ‘Baby Ballet’ for the 2-3yrs rooms these run on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

The nursery enjoy going on outings within the local community to the local parks and on seasonal walks. They explore the children’s cultural capital on their outings by learning about road safety, visiting local churches, care homes and shops to provide new and exciting opportunities.

The team includes two qualified early years’ teachers, who help prepare the children for their next adventure at primary school. Parents are kept up to date and involved with their children’s learning and development using the nursery’s online learning journal.

The nursery’s experienced childcare practitioners hold childcare qualifications, paediatric first aid certificates and safeguarding training. Every team member has enhanced DBS checks and the nursery has CCTV and a secure door entry systems for added security.

The chef at Roundhay prepares the nursery’s fresh and nutritionally balanced meals and snacks in the nursery kitchen, providing children with healthy and delicious homemade food every day.

15 and 30 Hours Free Childcare places are available for eligible families.

Partou Roundhay Day Nursery has been an excellent choice for our family. The staff are incredibly warm and caring, creating a welcoming environment for our son. Every team member knows him by name, even those who aren't directly working with his group, which makes us feel truly valued and reassured.
The nursery offers a stimulating setting that fosters learning and development, with a wide range of engaging activities that keep him excited about going each day. Outdoor play is a significant part of their routine, ensuring he gets plenty of fresh air and physical activity. The blend of fun and education at the nursery is remarkable, and we couldn't be happier with the progress and joy we see in our son. Highly recommended!

Both of my children recently started here after we moved house and both have settled so well. All of the staff are so welcoming and really made the transition so smooth. I love that all of the staff know both children already by name and both of them are so happy here!

Both my son and daughter attend Primley and thrive there. The staff are all so attentive, professional and upbeat. They understand our children well and cater activities to their interests too. The weekly menus are brilliant after going through changes and taking parents' comments on board in the last

We are very happy with Primley Park for our daughter. She started full-time in September at 16 months. Although this was a huge shift for her (and us!), she no longer gets upset at morning drop-off and evening collection- instead, she walks in with confidence and greets us at the end of the day by running
up to us with a big smile, laugh and cuddle- evidently having had a wonderful day. One of the best things about the nursery is the staff. To a person, they are approachable, kind and enthusiastic. We have seen first-hand the relationship that they develop with our daughter to make her feel she is in a safe and fun environment where praise is frequent of forthcoming. We are particularly happy that a particular member of staff is her key worker and can tell how much our daughter is fond of her as this was one of the first names she came home cheering, soon followed by others. One request would be better/more frequent use of the Learning book if possible. Overall- we're delighted!

My daughter has attended this nursery since I went back to work when she was 13 months old, and she has just left to start school. Our experience has been a very positive one. The staff have been brilliant with great communication and professionalism, and they are all so genuinely caring. When there
have been any issues (which have been very few over nearly four years), they have been dealt with effectively and swiftly. My daughter has always loved going, and I would definitely recommend this nursery.

I couldn’t be happier with my experience of this nursery. My second child has just finished, to start school, and both she and my son who also attended have been lovingly nurtured and cared for by wonderful, friendly staff from being babies to preschool age. The environment is relaxed and homely, and

Previously I had provided a 5-star review when I was extremely happy with the service but believe it is important to also be honest of ongoing experiences. I moved my child to full-time days as I became busier at work and with how settled he was during his half days I believed he would be also happy.
However, when we would go to drop off we would notice the room busier with more crying babies and less staff and when we would go to pick up were told he was difficult and not settled. I also had to bring my child home once because of this. It became apparent staff were overworked with too many children and the care was compromised. I have had to now hire a nanny to have my child 121 which means more cost but he is getting a lot more attention and is thriving again. I have had staff tell me they don’t blame me and this is something management needs to really address as care should not be compromised and more staff should be hired to manage the amount of children.

We only have experience of the Big Learners room but could not be more pleased! Our child settled in fast thanks to the amazing staff who always have an open arm ready and sees to every child's needs. Our child has loved being there and always speaks highly of the staff and nursery in general. We really
can’t recommend it enough! The outside garden is great for playing and the inside room is full of activities for the kids.

My little one started at Primley Park Private Day Nursery and Pre-school in March. She settled in within 2 weeks and she loves it. She gets excited to go in and the girls in the toddler room take such good care of her. She really adores them and goes straight over for cuddles at drop off. They keep
me well informed and always make time for me on the phone and at handover. The manager is also really well informed and approachable and takes a keen interest in the children. I feel very comfortable leaving her there and she’s learning so much. They have different activities every day and lots of outside play which was important to us. The outside area is lovely and inside always seems clean and there are a variety of toys and activities. The only thing I feel is missing is that I would love a handover on an app that I could see in real time eg nappy changes/food etc rather than a paper handover especially with the recent price increase. But I am thrilled with our choice of nursery!

I have been a parent of two children at Primley Park and can’t speak more highly of the staff that have supported, encouraged and looked after our children so well. The nursery is always clean, tidy and reset and ready to start the day, every morning. The staff across all rooms, as we have experienced
all of these have been approachable caring and most of all knowledgable about my children. They have consistently demonstrated an understanding to each of their individual needs and I couldn’t be more thankful for that. I always felt, dropping them off that they were going to have a great day. A brilliant heart warming setting filled with hard working and committed staff.

I am more than happy with the way my daughter has been welcomed into Primley Park, she has only been there a couple of months but seems to be known by all staff who always take the time to speak to her whether they are working in her room or not.
She has settled in very quickly and seems very happy
to be there and I really feel the staff genuinely enjoy her being part of their nursery life too.

The staff in the toddler room are amazing! So kind and caring. The atmosphere in the nursery is welcoming and homely. My child has settled in so well and clearly enjoys his time here very much. We've had a fantastic experience with Primely Park Nursery. Communication and onboarding were excellent, all of the staff have been great at making sure our son settled in well and have kept us informed of any issues, developments and daily feedback and he's always happy when we've collected him at

This nursery has been incredible for the development of my child he is excited to go there in the morning and will talk about his day. His eating has also improved massively since attending Primley Park. The staff are lovely and the manager is so helpful and really made this an easy transition for all

We moved our child to this nursery following a bad experience with a different one. They welcomed him with open arms and he settled there straight away. He’s been there 3 months now and he’s really progressed in terms of development and confidence. All the staff are great and the outdoor area is fab.

My son loves going to nursery, the team have helped him settle in really well since starting in October. The staff in the toddler room are really friendly and enthusiastic. Two staff members, in particular, are amazing and go to the extra effort all the time to do things to help my son feel welcomed
and happy.
They create a wide range of fun and creative activities on a daily basis and I love to see all the pictures of what they get up to. I find the handovers at the beginning and end of the day really useful and provide all the details needed. The nursery manager is also really friendly and always says hello to us.
