Partou Nursery Lane Day Nursery & Pre-School in Alwoodley, Leeds, provides high-quality care and education for babies and children up to the age of five.

The setting gives children an inspirational, supportive environment where they can play in an exciting outdoor area every day.

The Nursery's experienced childcare practitioners hold childcare qualifications, paediatric first aid certificates and safeguarding training. Every team member has enhanced DBS checks and the nursery has CCTV and secure door entry systems for added security.

The nursery team provides a range of exciting learning activities including ‘Enjoy a Ball’ and ‘Pyjama Drama’. Parents are kept up to date and involved with their children’s learning and development using the nursery’s online learning journal.

The chef at The Nursery on Nursery Lane prepares the nursery’s fresh and nutritionally balanced meals and snacks in the nursery kitchen, providing children with healthy and delicious homemade food every day. Because all of the nursery food is freshly prepared on-site, all recipes can be altered to suit any dietary or religious requirements.

15 and 30 hours of free childcare places are available for eligible families.

The nursery On Nursery Lane has been an amazing setting for all 3 of our children. Our eldest spent a year there after moving to the area, and our twins have been there for 3 years, and we will be so sad to leave the team when they go to school in September. The children love going to the nursery and
have developed such a strong bond with the staff. They have been such a support to us, especially through recent times as we continued to work in the NHS throughout the pandemic. When the children were younger, it was great to have everything included and not have to remember nappies etc, and the home-cooked meals are loved by our children. We would definitely recommend this nursery as a family centred, great caring environment for your little one.

My daughter statutes the nursery since September 2020. She absolutely adores her key worker and sings songs about her all the time. She wakes up eager to go, and on her days off she’s wanting to go too. From greeting the staff at the door, you can really tell they take care and have everything set in
place for your child. They have done so well with supporting toilet training and are always open to any concerns we may have.

Absolutely love this nursery! The girls are amazing with my little boy. From the first day he started in March, he settled in straight away. When he was upset the first week of starting, the manager and her team made me feel at ease; they are just great! Thank you for everything you do!

My sons moved to The Nursery On Nursery Lane from another nursery at the start of the pandemic and the transition was much smoother than we could have hoped for. We were so happy with The Nursery On Nursery Lane that when their previous nursery reopened we decided to keep them at The Nursery On Nursery
Lane, even though it's less convenient in terms of distance from our home. The staff are all really engaged, helpful, friendly and are clearly invested in each child. It's obviously a happy place to work which for me as a parent is key to ensuring my kids are well cared for. The manager is an excellent manager and in my view runs the nursery exceptionally well. The team cater for each child's individual needs which is really important to us. The outdoor space is fabulous too. So pleased we moved the boys to this setting!

My daughter started the nursery at the beginning of the year and all the staff have been great at helping her settle in. She has developed so many new skills in this time, often when trying to teach her something new she already understands it so she must have learnt it at nursery. The staff are all
very friendly and seem to know what all the children have been up to that day. We are really grateful to them for working through the pandemic as we would have struggled without them. We would definitely recommend this nursery to friends.

This is a fantastic nursery. The staff are extremely caring and responsive to my son's needs. They provide a safe and stimulating environment for the children. I am really happy with how my son is developing, as a result of the hard work put in by all the staff - especially throughout the pandemic.

My son has been attending The Nursery on Nursery Lane since the start of March 2021, and we are really pleased with the care he receives, the activities he gets to experience and the sheer progress he has made in such a short space of time. There is a good level of communication between the staff and
parents, which is really important given that we are dropping off/picking up at the door at the moment. The staff know each child and parent individually, and it creates a really personal experience. One thing to bear in mind; this nursery is more expensive compared to others we looked at in the area, however, there is the 'all inclusive' element, which means there is one less thing for parents to think about, plus we felt that this nursery would be best for our son that the price became less important. Overall, we are really pleased with The Nursery on Nursery Lane and are confident our son will continue to have a great time there.

My son started the nursery when he was twelve months old and he is now twenty two months. The staff are so warm and lovely. He struggled leaving me at first and I struggled too but the team helped me and my son overcome that hurdle. Now he loves going and is always smiling when I pick him up. His speech

I cannot praise or thank the staff at The Nursery On Nursery Lane enough. They are providing my child with amazing care. The staff are always smiling, kind, patient and loving towards the children. They engage them in a range of activities keeping them stimulated and helping their growth and development.
They do a great job of promoting diversity and including too which is absolutely key to raising the next generation of global citizens! The positive spirits with which they have powered through the pandemic, with excellent Covid-19 safe protocols being adhered to at all times has been truly commendable. I leave my child here with full confidence each day and I’m so glad I found this nursery!

My son started this nursery a month ago and has settled in so well. I was quite worried at first as he hadn’t been to nursery before. However, all the staff have been amazing and made me feel much more at ease. I am able to drop him off on a morning knowing he is in safe hands!
I can already see my
son has built a bond with not only his key worker and the other members of staff in his room, as he always comes home talking about them all and is excited to go back to see them. Although I am not able to go into the nursery, I receive regular observations of my little boy via the app and can see he is always involved in fantastic activities.
I always receive great feedback at pick up time, which is important, as my son isn’t fully able to tell me what he has been doing/what he’s eaten etc. The nursery manager has been really helpful when I’ve had any questions.
I would highly recommend this nursery. My son hasn’t been there long, but is already extremely happy and settled.

Absolutely brilliant nursery. I was a little apprehensive about sending my little girl when she first started, however, I didn't need to be as she absolutely loves it and is learning new things all the time. I, in particular, like how the kids have keyworkers and you can submit things to their journal
as I love reading and seeing what my daughter has been up to whilst in attendance. The manager and all the staff are really lovely, and I couldn't fault them, they're really on the ball with everything, which is good and will inform you about things if need be or if you have an issue they do their absolute best to help resolve it.
