Cannot praise the manager and her team enough. One particular key worker did amazingly well at settling my child into the nursery. As with most children, he does not want to go to nursery on a morning and is a little reluctant to leave me. When I arrive to pick him up, he does not want to come home.

Our youngest who is now three has been regularly attending The Little Green Frog since he was 12-months. He is the third of my children to attend the nursery, which attests to how happy we are with The Little Green Frog. The staff (many of whom have worked there for a long time) are caring, fun and
reassuring for the children. The provision is absolutely wonderful; children are encouraged to be curious, and their own interests spark the activities for the day. I love the approach which encourages safe risk-taking, and all of my children have loved jumping around the gorgeous outside area from tyres and self-made bridges. They have learned to use wood and nails and to plant vegetables and flowers and then made their own food from the vegetables they have grown. My children have made lasting friendships with children in the local area, and they have nothing but fond memories of The Little Green Frog. They still rave about the food... I cannot replicate it! Their approach to Covid 19 has been exemplary.

Excellent care and support from all nursery staff when my son needed a little more attention and developmental support. He's doing exceptionally well now. Great communication for parents from nursery staff. Staff also managed my son's allergies with no issues, ensuring he still had a wide variety of
meals and wasn't excluded in any way.

The Little Green Frog is quite simply a home away from home for the children. Their warm, welcoming and relaxed approach never fail to impress me and the huge smile that greets me from my little boy, when I collect him at the end of every day, says it all.


From the moment my son started at The Little

Green Frog aged 11 months, the team welcomed us in, making the transition back to work stress-free. He absolutely loves every single day he spends at nursery. The team understand him, provide lots of opportunities to develop his interests (tractors) and encourage child-led learning. Not only this, the children spend time outdoors every day, which for me, was and still is an important element.


I honestly cannot recommend The Little Green Frog enough.

My 2.5-year-old has been going to The Little Green Frog since she was one. We're more than 18-months in, and I cannot praise this nursery enough. Where do I start?
The manager is a fabulous person that is lovely to work with. The whole team is fantastic, they genuinely care about the children - my
daughter loves going there! As a parent, I felt there was an open door to ring and come in as much as I wanted at the beginning when we were settling in. Communication with parents has been outstanding throughout the whole period. It really is a brilliant nursery with a nice family feel to it. Their support since the start of the pandemic has been so valuable to us as a family. I feel confident and reassured each time I leave my daughter there, that she will have a fantastic day and receive excellent care. I also have an 8-month-old baby, and I look forward to her starting there in a few months. Highly recommended!

Both my boys have attended The Little Green Frog from the age of 9-months and after one visit to the nursery, I knew my boys would have the best start I could give them. The staff are exceptional and care for my children like they are their own. Every day, the boys come home excited to tell me about
a new activity they've tried out. When we're at home, I can see the impact nursery has on them, for example, simple things like sitting and eating at the dinner table, sharing toys and not being afraid to explore and jump and have fun. There are also practical aspects such as potty training, trying to let go of the dummy etc. The staff at the nursery are fantastic with this, and whatever we do at home, they make sure this is continued at nursery.
The nursery itself has lots of beautiful outdoor space, and I really like the fact that the children are outside whenever they can be.
I am so grateful to Little Green Frog for allowing me to go to work knowing my boys are safe, and most importantly, they are happy.

Couldn’t recommend this nursery any more. Having a lockdown baby, me and my partner were extremely nervous about her starting nursery, as she had never really been away from us. When she had, she had been very distressed.
From the show round to the settling in sessions, to her first week. All of the
staff have been nothing but positive, kind and reassuring with us and our daughter. They allowed plenty of settling in time, making sure that when I went back to work, that I felt confident in leaving her. She also has allergies that have been taken very seriously, and again, reassured us that she is absolutely safe at nursery.
The rooms are inviting and not overwhelming for a small child, with plenty of activities and open-ended toys to play with.
All of the staff are so friendly, and I know our little girl is happy and enjoying her days at nursery.

Both of our children love going to nursery, and we are very happy with the care provided. The ‘Care Bears’ know our children really well, which helps them to feel safe and confident. We would happily recommend The Little Green Frog.

I cannot rate Little Green Frog highly enough. My first daughter attended from age 9 months until this year when she left to start school and my second has been there for a year. I love everything about this nursery. The atmosphere is always positive. The children play outside every day, the food is
fantastic, and they often have visitors into nursery and trips out (including to the river and to visit the elderly residents at Teal Beck). It is obvious from the two-room setup of the nursery the well thought out resources, the freshly prepared food, and the training the staff receives. The owner and all the staff are passionate about early childhood development. I'm a primary school teacher myself and if I were ever to own a nursery, I want it to be exactly the same as Little Green Frog.

Little Green Frogs has been great. Our two girls are very happy and settled there, and the nursery has been really accommodating with our need for flexibility. They are very responsive to anything we raise, always trying to make sure our children are happy and confident at nursery.

My daughter started nursery at The Little Green Frog when she was nine months old. We had to reluctantly take her out of nursery when 21 months old due to the pandemic and personal reasons. Love everything about this nursery, they were like a second family to my daughter and ourselves! She loved going
and sometimes never wanted to leave (lots of persuasion needed)! We were amazed how quickly our daughter's confidence grew since going to nursery and still can’t believe just how much she learnt in the time she was there.
We hope to bring her and her baby brother/sister next year when I go back to work!
Well done for being such a fab nursery, see you all soon.

My daughter has attended since February 2018. It is a lovely setting, with great outside space to play. The staff are lovely and she has always enjoyed her days there, loads of activities and messy play. Very engaged with the local community as well, taking part in carnivals and visiting a local
residential home. Would highly recommend.

My daughter has been attending this nursery since last August. She moved from a much larger setting which on the face of it appeared to have much better facilities, but it was no match for the creativity, care and fantastic use of outdoor space here. The staff are incredible, they are caring and creative
and know my daughter very well. Her imagination has come on hugely and she is very settled. She has been allowed to explore outdoors. There is always a range of activities on offer and my daughter is able to make choices about what she wants to do. The way that the nursery and staff immediately took action to keep in touch with the children and give them a connection to the nursery during the current shutdown is truly impressive, my daughter is clearly missing nursery hugely, but she is delighted to see the staff and share stories and songs online. The effort and care that goes into this at a difficult time is a reflection of the extremely high standards of care that the nursery provides.

We have two boys at Little Green Frog Nursery. The nursery was professional from the outset, The induction was excellent - we had the opportunity to give staff lots of info about the boys, they also had a number of settling in sessions. The best aspect of the nursery is the staff, they are extremely
caring and patient and really get to know your child. The systems and procedures are clear and the boys enjoy the routine. There is lots of opportunity for outside play and the outdoor space is well organised, interesting and adventurous.
Overall, we have been really pleased and would definitely recommend the nursery to others.

Our two children (aged 1 & 3) attend the Little Green Frog Nursery. We moved to the area in 2018 and needed a lot of information about schools, shops, transport etc...all the usual stuff. There was always one name for a nursery that came up time and again and it was The Little Green Frog. Parents, locals,
residents heaped praise on this excellent establishment, and after 12 months we definitely agree.
The level of care is second to none, and we can see why they were awarded an excellent rating at Ofsted. The staff are friendly, helpful and the way they introduce learning methods is very impressive. They always encourage children to learn through doing and playing. It leads to trips out into town, walks to the river, crafts, numeracy, literacy but in such a way that they've got a smile on their faces. Safety is also one of their top priorities, and we feel completely comfortable leaving our two there knowing they're safe and protected.
Our little ones also love the meals!

The Little Green Frog Day Nursery really is an outstanding nursery! My daughter started in 2015 and she has just left to go to primary school. She can be very shy and the staff there have been fantastic with helping her in situations she finds hard and has really helped her to become more confident.
She
really has flourished there over the past four years. There was no question than my son would attend the same nursery and he has been there for over a year now. He loves it just as much as my daughter did!
Each day when I pick the kids up, the staff take the time to tell me all about their day and they are also nearly always outside, which is wonderful.
They also regularly took a group of the older children to a local care home where my daughter got to socialise with the elderly people there which she really loved. Knowing your kids are in such good hands is invaluable when you have to leave them to go to work. I really can't recommend The Little Green Frog Day Nursery enough.

The Little Green Frog is an outstanding nursery. Our daughter has thrived since attending the Little Green Frog. The staff are brilliant and always interested in her development. She really loved the trips out especially when the chef gave them a list of ingredients to buy from the shop and they got
to go on the bus.

My son has been attending for about 4 months now and he loves going! He has settled in straight away and that is down to how amazing the staff are! Every day he is outside playing and I love how they take him out for walks to the park or into Otley! In the 4 months or so he has been going he has come
